Susu was our driver, guide, font of information (chef, sommelier, designer), companion for the day and will be an inspiration for many a year to come. There were two of us in the car and we had the benefit of an in-depth tour of the...More
We were on the fence about doing this tour because it was so much more expensive than the other Toronto wine tours. In fact, the cost of the tour per person was more than our airfare to Toronto! In the end we decided to suck...More
This tour was awesome! This was a girls weekend trip (there were 4 of us). Our tour guide Mackenzie was amazing tour guide and a fun companion for the journey! He was extremely knowledgeable about Toronto and the food scene. Upon pick up, he asked...More
Along with food in various neighborhoods my guide Mac provided lots of info on history. He was knowledgeable, friendly and fun. He even took me to graffiti alley. This was my first time in Toronto but not Canada and I would say this was the...More
Mackenzie...a great and charming guy...gave us an education in a fun and concise way in a room which was totally and honestly having the feel of a speak-easy (an over-used term nowadays, agreed?). We had a selection of Canadian (yep) wines which truly broadened our...More

Hey there Labbe Family!
Thank you for the outstanding review! We’re so happy that you enjoyed the Best of TO Food Tour with Mackenzie. We hope your stay in Toronto was fantastic and that one day we’ll be able to host you again!
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of
vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.

Thank you for your question. I am writing from New World Wine Tours for you. Our prices are higher than other companies because we take very small groups and private tours for an intimate experience from the city. That would be a maximum of 6 guests in comfortable SUVs. Our guides are also trained wine professionals and certified sommeliers with connections to many small, fantastic vineyards that are generally not visited by larger companies. Lunch that is provided also comes from great locally-sourced restaurants in the region.
Lastly we are flexible with itineraries and enjoy customizing the wineries selected to the tastes of our guests.
To sum it up, we operate high-end boutique tourism with flexible dates and don’t compromise on quality.

Hope you enjoy Ontario’s wine country!
