We are staying at the Sylvia Hotel right on the beach front and it is the most beautiful place in the city to stay. Away from the bustle of Downtown, it is quiet and peaceful x

When I'm completely done, no resolve left, I head to English Bay to walk and sit. I just take that time of doing nothing but feeding my senses full of beauty and calm. I don't attend the functions...light show etc. because that madness. A day...More

English bay is filled with sweeping views of water and parts of the city. It's quite walkable -- truly an urban oasis.

As beautifull as Spanish banks. Great place to walk and wander along the seaside. Much greenery, you see it all.

Came down here to check out Inukshuk. It’s such a beautiful area, even in the rain. The fall color is spectacular in Vancouver.

I love this place, just to see the ocean or sit there to wait some appointment. There is a great view and a delicious ice cream.

It's a lovely long walk along the shore form Sunset Beach to English beach. The area near English beach is pretty too, with open space to relax. Shops , bars and restaurants, a square and Stanley Park close by.

While this is mainly a residential area it is an excellent area to visit. Cloase to the water and also many restaurants and shops within easy walking distance.
