As you travel up the highway along the beautiful Howe Sound, headed towards Brittania, Whistler, Pemberton and lillooet, you'll see the spectacular scenery, mountain views, trees changing colour in the fall. There is easy access in and out of some of the road side stops....More

Nice new gondolas, with lots of walking/hiking trail options up the top. Stunning views any way you look with really cool suspension bridges and platforms. A must do.

Weather can be mixed in this area in the Fall - we chose a ‘gin clear’ day. Don’t bother in mist or rain. Terrific scenery of the feel fjord on the N side, with snowy peaks on both sides. Use only identified viewpoints are get...More

This was an enjoyable drive, despite the rain. There are tons of places to stop and hike or otherwise check out the local scenery. Next time I come through here I’d rather be a passenger so I can enjoy more of the spectacular views!

This is a gorgeous highway between the sea and the mountains. Having been a passenger both north and southbound I would recommend Whistler to Vancouver as the preferred direction. Do not think you are going to be driving really fast along this road. It is...More

We are on a “travel marvel” 21 day guided tour and our driver did this section beautifully, the tour gives us both a chance to look at the scenery and let someone else focus on the road. Stopped a Shannon falls, do not miss this!...More

Our Whistler day trip brought us up this scenic highway, both coming and going. How much nicer it was to be the non-driver and be able to spin our heads around at every rock climber we saw, all the forests of trees, and the majestic...More

We drove from Vancouver on the Sea to Sky Highway. It is a beautiful drive and one of the highlights of our trip to British Columbia.

Was recommended this drive by quite a few people but didn't really see the hype. We didn't see anything that unique but was a necessary drive down to Vancouver. Barely stopped en route. Sure it is much nicer on a clear day in the sun.
