Tulum is the only archeological ruin facing a beach. As a result the views are exceptional. You can see the crystal and torquiest waters. It’s definitely hot but the views are worth every picture. If you drive you should park on a nearby parking lot...More

We really enjoyed visiting the Tulum ruins. Large site with lots of structures and informative plaques in Spanish & English. Beautiful views of the ocean from the cliffs. Beach was not open when we were there. Bring BUG SPRAY and water.

We only spent about 2 hours and saw most of the site. Nice beach area if we had brought swim suits might have stayed longer.

It was really bad last month when we were there on the 28th of June. On the resorts is bad but not as bad as in Tulum. Resorts, they try to clean it every morning.
