I knew very little about Frida Kahlo before going to this museum & having an excellent guided tour. I knew she was an important Mexican artist, Salma Hayek played her in a film and she featured in the animation film Coco. Now I know about...More

The museum is interesting because it is about Frida, but the entrance fee is 240mxn which is so expensive compared with the entrance for Tulum ruins or other museums about Frida Khalo in Mexico city

Frida Kahlo y Diego Rivera were not only lovers, but were part of Mexico's most famous & important artists. The museum focuses on Frida, but she is such a complex person it is nice there is not much attention place on Diego's place in the...More

Definitely get a free tour while you’re there, the person we had was so passionate and knew so much about Frida Kahlo’s life and her art. It has made us seriously consider going to Mexico City to see her house!

With numerous picture and paintings you really get to understand the real life of Frida. This is someplace you don't want to miss.

Made a point of looking for this off the main drag, attractive exterior where you can get a good photo by a garlanded cart. Found the entrance fee of about USD 15 too much for a place without any works by Frida or Diego in...More

Very small museum run by the Frida Kahlo foundation. A few original items and writings and photos of some of her best known paintings. Offers a view into her and her life. Our visit was complemented by an intimate concert by Morajazz, which was quite...More
