This was very close to our hotel. Very quiet on non cruise ship days. There is a changing place but did not use it so don't know status on that. Saw at least 4-5 turtles at our visit. Loved it!

We spent a morning here. The cruise ships weren't in port so the beach was pretty deserted. We were told that you can spot stingrays and turtles snorkling here but we didn't luck out. There's no facilities here so bring everything you need.

Enjoyed a day snorkeling a local spot that we read there would be a good chance of spotting some sea turtles. It delivered and then some. Not only did we see sea turtles feeding on the grass beds but we saw lots of other marine life as we ventured out close to the bouy line. We

Soft sand, no rocks, not crowed, free, free parking, no seaweed, gentle sea great for kids. A food truck was parked out front. Its a very under rated beach.

Local gem! Great, quiet beach with public restroom facilities and outdoor showers. We got there after a short walk from the university (off the dollar bus). There were maybe four people in the water and about the same number on shore. There's no bar or someone to rent beach
