This street was pretty boring as compared with the Kyoto’s Nishiki Shopping district. However, this is still worth to visit for their infamous Kobe Beef which taste superb.

I came across this shopping street after strolling through nearby Chinatown. There’s a mix of traditional and modern stores. I stopped to buy donuts. As it’s a covered street it would be a good option on a rainy day.

A mainly covered shopping area with lots of everything. Busy but not unreasonable. Fun to see both the familiar and the new. Lots of shoe stores since many made in Kobe.

“Kobe Motomachi” is a shopping street near the Kobe Daimaru Department Store. The street is well protected with a glass rooftop, and cars are not allowed to go through without permission. There are many pharmacies and gift shops where tourists can buy souvenirs back home....More

1.2 km according to the map, seems more for local, less branded shops. Reasonable price and worthwhile going but nothing amazing.
