The great park is a must see for all visitors to the area. The magnificent views along the edge of the canyon are breathtaking. For those more adventurous do the 5 day hike.

Stunning. Plan your trip to take in an early morning and definitely a sundowner picnic in the canyon. The views change in the different light.International visitors note that the office at the entrance into the park does not accept debit cards, for safety sake bring...More

Personally I had never heard of Fish River Canyon before booking our trip to Namibia and yet it is the second largest canyon (after the Grand Canyon). It was so unexpected and utterly beautiful. We were able to walk along the edge of the canyon...More

It is truly something to see. The canyon is the second biggest in the world and you cannot wrap your mind around the idea of it. There is facilities like bathrooms and a picnic spot with shade.

Its huge, fantastic vista, world of wonder stuff, its a fair distance to go and see it, but well worth the long drive, the scenery before and after is wonderful, quiet, peaceful, zen like. A must see if in southern namibia.

For a true nature lover this canyon is well worth the visit. One can't expect the same vision as with the Grand Canyon because the vegetation is completely different. For some it might seem dull at first glance because it is brown, desert brown...but once...More

We came here during midweek and had a lovely experience. We paid 80.00R per person plus 10.00R for the car as an entrance fee. It's a 10km drive to the viewpoint and is suitable for all vehicles. The views are stunning and are worth seeing...More

It is hard not use superlatives when describing the amazing landscapes of Namibia. I would have given the Fish River Canyon the highest mark, but when you have seen the Grand Canyon, you could surmise right away that the Fish River is missing the golden/orange...More
