4 fully restored tradional houses, very cute but,generally lots of tourists getting off their coaches, taking photos and going away again !

We went here twice. It's quite nice to take a picture with this colorful little houses and definetly it's the best place we found in Madeira to purchase the traditional plants! The lady on the store will explain you in all languages how to plant...More

The small traditional houses are actually rebuilds and now filled with tourist shops. So once you've seen one from outside you've seen the attraction. However it is nice to make a picture of the tiny houses. When in Santana, there are more real traditional houses...More

Please... If only I knew... You just go to Santana to take a picture with this typical houses... They have like 3 houses next to each other... And that's all... It's for free.... but... I didn't see the charm or the big deal about it.......More

Ok we visited but were not overly impressed. Nice to see but was a tourist tarp with retail in the houses. Nice to see the genuine houses in farms along the road nearby.
