I was a little bit worried that every photo from this spot was photoshoped, but no. It aculey is that pink. Unbelievable. You don't need a guide so don't let them fool you. Gopro is for some reason not allowed

When someone told me that there was a pink lake I thought I was the victim of Photoshop/filters or something. But it is real, and it is something that you need to see in this world.

I am NOT certain but I think you can. Check the local bus schedules and routes. IF there is a Noreste bus that goes from Rio Lagartos to El Cuyo then you know the route is passable in a car.
