Very I treating and beautiful ancient water town. Worth a visit. Only drawback is that the shops are really tourist oriented and it's a bit repetitive. I might have enjoyed it more on a cooler day.

The Xitang misty rain added charm to this peaceful, poetic ancient water-town. The rain slowed things down, as on my last visit the bars and restaurants were more lively.

I went there by cab. The cab waited until i come out and took me back. Cabs are cheap in china so why not.
