We had an amaxing time and saw many many animals specially leopards and elephants. Our guide driver Dilan was very nice and so friendly. He cleverly knows the park inside-out. Thank you so much for wonderful afternoon.
What can I say it was an amazing experience. We saw more than 10 elephants, leopard very close distance and many other animals. Driver was very informative and safe. We pick up from hotel with no extra charge also. Definitely return!
We really enjoyed our experience with Ajith Safaris! We got a very good deal for our private half day tour, it was easy to book online through their website, the driver arrived on time. Highly recommended.
We had a 5 hour safari tour for 5500 rupes including pickup and return from hotel. Our driver is Ashad, son of Ajith. We enjoyed every minute in Udawalawe National Park! So many varieties of animals to see and Ashad has a real hawk eye...More
We had an excellent tour in Yala and Bundala national parks. The driver is knowledgeable and had hawk eyes to find animals. We had chance to see 3 leopards during the tour. Definetely recommend this tour operator.
So much seen that I can't remember them all. 2 Leopards,Elephants in big and small groups, baby elephants and their mothers, a bull elephant with enormous tusks. The driver/guide was very friendly and informative. We had superb experience. Thank you.
First and foremost, an acknowledgement to our amazing guide, Yasanka. His intuitive knowledge of the park and driving skills were what made this safari such a great experience. He always seemed to be in the right place at the right time. And if he wasn’t...More
We chose morning safari with an English speaking guide, it was lovely to see so many animals and learn about them. Both the driver and the guide were super professional but friendly at the same time. Highly recommend the yala tour with Ajith Safari Jeep...More
The Pick-Up in the morning worked out perfectly on time and without any issues. When we got to the park, we already saw a herd of buffalos, monkeys and a variety of birds before even entering the park, which was the perfect start. On the...More

Agreed. One day, we had a separate driver and guide and the other we had just a driver who acted as a guide. The separate guide, in our view, seemed unnecessary. The driver alone was more than enough. We also enjoyed the day with the driver alone because he actually spent the trip talking to us, whereas with a guide and driver, they just spent he trip mostly talking to each other.

I think you can book on line but there is no need to. They have plenty of safari jeeps. Just call them Once your in Sri lanka to see what day is best to go. Yala National park is where the Leopards are. You will need to patient & allow a couple of days to get a good chance of seeing them. Take a good book & drinks/ snacks. explain to the guide that your prepared to wait in the common spots where the Leopards are seen. Don't go when there is rain forecasted. Cats hate the water. If you miss the Leopards there's still plenty of other wildlife like monkeys & elephants. touching distance away. Fantastic place. Enjoy Brett
