Coming from Canada, we loved St Maarten. Beautiful island. Lots to do and see. Would definitely go again. One concern is the Buccaneers Beach Bar, Simpson Bay We were on our way there when I fell in their gutter,which wasn’t marked. No grates and no paint. Unfortunately I broke my glasses when I hit the asphalt. Have cuts and bruises to parts of my body but thankful it wasn’t worse. We did bring it to the attention of the manager asking to fix the situation so it doesn’t happen again. Hopefully, they will do that.

Booked the tour through AAA and was so happy we did! Had a great tour with a very knowledgeable tour guide and driver. I am not a beach person so the time we spent (about 2 hours at each beach) was perfect for me. Would definitely book again with Amigo tours. Well done!

We had the pleasure of meeting King David today. He was a fantastic tour guide and a great driver on the very congested island streets. We came in today on Virgin’s Resilient Lady. I had never been to the island before so had no idea what to expect. We learned a lot about the island and saw some spectacular views. Thanks, King David for a great day!

We had a great driver who guided us around town and we enjoyed the beaches and food/cocktail choices available too. Would definitely recommend.

We had an excellent time! Captain K was an awesome tour guide. The beaches were great, and we were back at the cruise around 4pm.

After reading the reviews, and knowing a bit about Maho Beach and the airport, I booked this for when our cruise docked. I wasn't prepared for Orient Beach though, absolutely stunning! The driver talked non stop but got a bit much as he pointed out pretty much everything such as car dealerships and grocery stores Ignore that part, enjoy the refreshments and amazing beaches

Captain K was great. Orient beach much better but it was fun watching the planes land so close. Getting a lounge chair wirh umbrella and two drinks for $10 at Orient well worth it.

Great day of beach time in St. Maarten! Our driver/guide was Johnny! He was great, kept us on time and highlighted interesting points of interest along the way back to ship!

The planes flying right over your head was top notch incredible. But the beach is very crowded and the sand is super sticky. The water is rough and it gets deep quickly right off shore. Two ppl drowned a few weeks before we arrived in late January 2025. When planes takeoff: sand and belongings are blown all over the place ppl chasing hats and glasses into the ocean. They charge for the shower and the restroom if you need those. It’s also a long drive from the port so if your on a cruise it takes time away from being able to do anything else on the island.

Amigo Tours worked super slick for our airport from/to transfer to Simpson Bay Resort. We were a group of 12, I was able to book and pay for everything online for <$8/person each way. They were waiting at the airport and had an extra shuttle just for our luggage. I gave them our departure time when we had to go back to the airport, they timely getting to the resort. Drivers were very friendly and accommodating-highly recommend.

Our driver Don did an excellent job, keeping the mood light and pointing out all the interesting points along the way. He also did a great job getting the bus out of tight spots. The only downside is that there was terrible traffic on the last leg of the trip - not his fault. Also, er would have preferred more tome on the French town of Margot and less on the beaches.

Great experience! David was great! Maho beach was crowded, there were 4 cruise ships when we went. Would definitely recommend.

Great tour. We visited the Dutch and French side of St. Martin. The stops were amazing. We were able to see the major attractions. The timing was excellent and the guide was knowledgeable.

It was a tourist trap type of tour. We stopped at “photo” stops - one place had a bunch of inuanas planted there, another stop had random farm animals just planted on top of hill. We only had 45 minutes in each stop we did which wasn’t enough to actually relax and enjoy any of the experiences. I do not recommend this tour if you want to actually enjoy your one afternoon in St Maarten.
