About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- kchoudhari0 contributionsGood option for airport transferVery good option to take for reasonably priced frequent airport transfer from and to the city. There are cheaper city buses available but they don’t have space for luggage and frequency isn’t that great. One can book online or on the App or with the bus driver. It gets very busy even in non peak times. If you are a party of three or four, you might better off hiring a private taxi.Written 8 December 2024
- 382bingc0 contributionsBe mindful!!!I can recommend taking this bus from and to the only thing that i can say is be mindful when you pay specially when using top card, This bus number 1240 date 05 nov 2024 time 15:18 from Catalunya he over charges me i told the driver and he is so rude that he answered me like “ I don’t care “ I love Spain in general but this two men be careful!!!Written 6 November 2024
- rajan8190 contributionsBad experience, bus driverVery, very bad experience for Aerubus Bus driver very very unexpected Very bad dealing never respect for customer Never come againWritten 5 November 2024
- M9531LCkateh0 contributionsAvoid. Metro more reliable. On way into city centre, all passengers thrown off bus at Espanya due to planned industrial action. No mention of this during booking, no attempt to explain what was going on or how to find alternative route (which was not funded.) Quite scary tbh. Lots of shouting. On way out of city centre, waited for 50 minutes at Catalunya...until Aerobus employee advised needed to go to Espanya due to cycling event. Again: no information in advance, huge (avoidable) delay in providing information about lack of service. So no, they don't provide the 24/7 regular service advertised. Do yourself a favour: avoid Aerobus if you intend to buy a Hola Barcelona ticket (which you can use to take the Metro to the centre instead).Written 2 November 2024
- Discover375113269390 contributionsEfficient way to get to downtownThe Aerobus is a very useful service for getting from the airport to downtown Barcelona. Fast and efficient, it's an excellent choice for many travelers. However, if it's ever too crowded, consider taking a taxi instead. At Taxi Ride Barcelona, we offer a comfortable and direct service to help you reach your destination worry-free. Definitely an option to keep in mind while enjoying the city!Written 10 October 2024
- rachelrR4217IQ0 contributionsEasy to find and use.Easy to find from airport, convenient. Better to buy tickets online. It is 24 hours and at peak times goes more frequently.Written 25 September 2024
- kiwitravelnz0 contributionsAmazing service at a great price.Highly recommend this bus service. Excellent way to go from Barcelona Airport to the city. Great price. Tickets purchased in the bus queue. Very efficient service. Buses depart frequently. Central bus stop very close to our hotel.Written 21 July 2024
- Gourmet6100 contributionsCatastrophy, if you don't have 10 hours ahead of you, just forget itVery bad, I was planning to use my tickets for a quick ride into the city during my 3h transit, and based on what customer service said (plenty of buses, a bus every 10 minutes, 30mn ride), it seemed quite feasible. Except this info was all wrong (first bus showed up after 35 mn wait and could only accommodate a small part of the huge queue which had formed outside. As a result I could not use my ticket paid 18€50, due to the misleading information provided to me. When I complained the company just dismissed the whole story saying the tickets were valid.Written 8 July 2024
- Raintree_Thailand0 contributionsTHE way to get to and from the airport in Barcelona!!Three cheers plus for Barcelona for providing one of the best transport services to and from the airport of any major city in the world! The Aerobus is super convenient, with it's downtown terminus at Placa de Catalunya (with a couple of other stops along the way). There are separate buses for Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, both loading and unloading at the east side of the plaza. Passengers can buy tickets in advance online or from machines, from staff nearby, or from the driver, and can pay with credit card. The buses have lots of space for luggage. The trip to or from the airport takes less than 30 minutes and there are buses running every 10 minutes or less. The fare is 7.25 euros. If traveling from the airport, you may need to ask staff where to get the Aerobus, but it is easy to locate and everyone knows about it.TWritten 16 June 2024
- royw3270 contributionsExcellent service.Helpfull drivers. Clean and comfortable seating. Plenty of luggage storage. The app takes a bit of time to open eTickets. Had a problem with phone data connection on return journey at Calunya but driver just waved me on regardless. All airports should provide this type of service, esdpecially for tourists.Written 28 May 2024
- annReading_UK0 contributionsEasy transfer between Barcelona Airport and city centreExcellent service from Barcelona Airport to the city centre. I bought tickets online in advance in a very simple transaction. Tickers are accessed through an app. There are also ticket machines if you need to buy at the airport but beware of queues. We exited the terminal, easily found the bus stop directly outside: with buses coming every 5-10 minutes there's no delay. Journey to the centre took about 25 minutes. Fast, comfortable and cheap - also far easier than the metro.Written 20 May 2024
- DS3080 contributionsGood option for travelGreat service to and from airport. Where you’re staying does make a difference to how far your onward journey is at the last bus stop so check the map! Good value and friendly drivers. Will definitely use again. Reliable regular service too .Written 15 May 2024

- SHA123110 contributionsEasy to book on line, & reliableMy wife & i have been using this service from & to the airport for the past few years. If you book the return tickets you also get a discount. The Aerobus was a very easy, quick and relatively cheap way of getting from the airport to the city centre in Barcelona.
ADVANTAGES:
i) it leaves frequently. One departed as we were walking towards it but we didn't have to wait long until the next one arrived (from memory it was only 10 min at most)
ii) the bus stop is located just outside the airport doors so you do not have to walk far or drag bags. There was a clear sign beside the bus and in any case, the bus itself is very distinctive. It bright blue and white, with ‘Aerobus’ written in big, bold, blue letters across the side.
iii) it is inexpensive and there is no need to pre-book. Tickets were €6 pp (although the train is cheaper again, esp if you do the T10 card).
iv) it drops at several locations, finishing at Plaça Catalunya
v) it was clean, comfortable and quick (about 25 min from airport to Plaça Catalunya)
vi) there is a free city map in the seat pockets and free wifi
DISADVANTAGES:
i) You need to be prepared with smaller amounts of cash for the ticket. The driver did not accept notes larger than €20. There was a ticket machine right next to the bus but it didn’t seem to like our credit card so we had to run back upstairs into the airport to get smaller change. The machine worked for others so I assume it was just our card and it wasn’t compatible for some reason.
ii) If you are a family or group, there might not be so much difference in cost between 4 x bus tickets and a taxi.
iii) If your hotel is some distance from one of the bus stops or if you have very heavy bags to drag, then you might still have to get a taxi from the bus stop to your hotel. Our hotel (H10 Raco Del Pi) was in the Gothic Quarter and the walk took less that 10 mins so it worked for us.

Definetely easiest way to go from BCN Airport terminal 1 to city center. It costs around 6,00€ and you can buy the ticket at the machines on the platform paying by card. It takes around 30 minutes (+/-10 depending om traffic). And it is safe, contrary to the train from terminal 2 to city center where you can sometimes encounter pickpocketing.

We got ourselves a return ticket so we used the Aerobus in both direction during our stay in Barcelona. Picks you up right as you exit the airport building, drops you off in several locations in the city, so you can choose which one is the most convenient for you. For us it was Placa Catalunya and it's right in the centre of everything and from there it's easy to switch to a different kind of public transportation or even walk where you have to go. Comfy buses, friendly and helpful staff. There is plenty of room to put your luggage during the bus ride and it's also very easy to buy your ticket online so you can just hop in.

Aerobus from airport was so easy and excellent value. We bought 2 Hola Barcelona adult tickets online, combining the Aerobus ticket with an additional 3 day travel pass to cover all buses, Metro and trains whilst visiting Barcelona (there are other number of days options). Adult cost was €29.95 each (GB £25.22) that covered the return Aerobus back to airport. You get an email confirmation and we showed the QR code to the bus driver. No waiting for a bus and it took about 25 minutes into Placa de Cataluyna, one of the main squares in the centre (not the only stop you can use). We used the same Placa de Cataluyna stop for the return as we had lunch in the top floor restaurant of El Cortes Ingles which is next to the Aerobus stop (restaurant has brilliant views, excellent quality and value). We activated the bus & Metro part of our ticket the day after we arrived using an Aerobus ticket machine in a Metro station - we didn't need to use it previously as we'd walked everywhere. Highly recommended - saved us money and hassle. The buses also had a USB charging point on the back of the seat in front of you - great idea.

Wonderful ride, but getting a ticket from the machine was only possible through either NFC contact on your phone's banking app or credit card. When using a credit card, we paid but the machine malfunctioned and did not spit out the tickets. One of the nearby Aerobus employees kindly opened up the machine to fix it and allowed us access on the bus. In the bus there's some much needed AC and USB charging hubs which are extremely handy after a long plane ride.

Unless you are renting a car and have your own transportation, there is simply no reason to travel between the airport and city of Barcelona any other way! We used Aerobus both ways and experienced plenty of busses which were ready when we were, roomy and comfortable seating and luggage storage area, comfortable temperature, and WiFi. Could not have been more convenient, simple, and reasonably priced. Highly recommend Aerobus in Barcelona!

Great service. Fair price. My only observation is that buses run empty at off-peak hours and that forces drivers to drive slower and slow other bus lane traffic down. I would rather wait for bus to fill up a bit more at the airport stop than to suffer a long sluggish trip through the city as empty buses pile up at the final stop.

Easy to purchase the tickets from a kiosk right outside the airport. Buses leave every few minutes so if you don't get on the first one you see, another will be right behind. You don't have to wait long. Bus was clean and there was plenty of room for all our luggage. They have free WiFi onboard which was very helpful. We rode this 1 way on the first leg of our journey and on the second leg (when we returned back to Barcelona from a cruise) we bought a round trip ticket which only cost us 10,20 euro (in comparison to our 1 way ticket cost of 5,90 euro) So you do save a little buying a round trip ticket if you need one.

I took the Aerobus both to the city centre and returning back to BCN airport. I went as far as Placa de Espanya, the buses are every five mins so there was no long wait times. Leaving the airport you buy the ticket from the machine right next to the Aerobus stand. Coming back you buy the ticket off the driver. The buses were all clean and modern with luggage racks and USB charging ports. The Aerobus isn't the most reasonably priced option but it is the quickest and easiest route.

This bus was such a convenient way of leaving the airport to get to Plaza de Catalunya, which we then took a short cab ride to our hotel, which was Hotel Colon. They accept card payments (at an automated box) or Euros to the driver, only 5.90 Euros.
We took the A1 from T1 at airport to Plaza de Catalunya which was about a 30 minute ride. The seats were comfortable. There is wifi onboard. The bus is air conditioned.
We also used this bus (A1) to get from Plaza de Catalunya to the airport (T1) at 5am to get to the airport as well. The bus runs every 10 minutes. I'm sure there are other means to get to/from airport but this was the easiest, most intuitive way for us.

If buying a return ticket does it have a time limit for the return journey. I.e if booking for airport to city centre on sunday 4th october would a return on 7th october be covered ?
Also anyone know which terminal easyjet use when flying from bristol as seen bus can be booked from either T1 or T2. Thanks.

If you buy a return ticket, it is valid for 14 days.
EasyJet will probably land on T2 but it doesn't matter.
The same ticket is valid for lines A1 and A2, you can ride each line from or to T1 and T2.

3 questions:
1. Where do I find the schedules departure/arrival to the airport?
2. Why should I pay when I still have not entered the dates of T2-city Center and City Center-T2?
3.The return 30.60 EUR (Return Airport T2 to City) means T2-city Center and City Center-T2?
Best regards,
