    Great day for families
Was such an amazing day and my kids enjoyed it. Highly recommend. The ebikes were so much fun to use, don't think I can go back to using a push bike.

An essential way to enjoy nature and see some sights outside of the car!!
LOVED this experience! Toby was brilliant to chat with before we arrived and guided us with his advice for a family with young kids so we were well planned and prepared for our adventure! They are a caring team and we had such a fun time! The views are epic and this is an essential way to enjoy nature and see some sights outside of the car!! Safe for our ten year old and our 7 year old easily enjoyed from the passenger bay! thanks again team! Oh last thing - the bikes are fab, new and great condition!

    Rail Trail mini-adventure
Great customer service and excellent bikes for hire! The guys were friendly and super helpful getting us ready to hit the Rail Trail. We had the bikes for 5 hours and had so much fun; starting at Moobal, riding to Murwillumbah for lunch, then returning back to Moobal, taking our time for lots of stops and a dip in a creek. The trail is easy and super enjoyable. I highly recommend this mini-adventure for a great day out. Afterwards, a cold beer at the Moobal pub is the perfect finish.

    Rainforest Ride
We did both e-bike tours with Beyond Byron Tours and we were impressed by the quality of the e-bikes. Lots of battery and assist if you need it to get up the hills and the rainforest scenery was amazing. You won’t regret it! It was raining so we didn’t stop at the falls but on a hot day, it would have been superb to take a dip. High recommend! Easy to follow tour on our phone so self guided tour is a snap.

    Brilliant e-bike ride.
Brilliant day out with top quality e-bikes. The bike trail is easy to ride on with concrete and even well formed gravel sections We rode through tunnels, over bridges and across pretty little rivers with swimming spots. So many places to stop along the trail; cafes, a farm for animal feeding, cheese factory, pottery, fresh fruit and veggie stands, antique shop and even an art gallery. We took full advantage of the five hour hire to make lots of stops.

Best way to spend five hours
A great day out on the Northern Rivers Rail Trail. The trail is smooth and gentle; the tunnels and old rail line details were interesting; the landscape is beautiful. And the bikes from Beyond Byron E-bikes were first rate. Really nice couple of guys running the bike hire added to the experience. Can also recommend the coffee next door at the MooMoo cafe.

No snakes were harmed on this ride
Easy riding, lovely countryside. If you go on a Monday or Tuesday, the wonderful Tweed Regional Art Gallery, with the great Apex Cafe, will be closed. You will miss out, like we did. Fortunately, we have been there before and that is why I can confirm it is well worth the visit and the best stop on the trail. I recommend including this stop on your tour. Really, the main other lunch option is at Hosannah Farm, which serves fairly ordinary food. Looks like a Christian family farm-stay camp, if this is your thing. Overpriced activities: $15 per person to meet and pat a bunny!!! Other lunch options mean looking around Murwillumbah (can't help you there) or stopping ten minutes up the road at Burringbah, where there is a good general store/café. While in Burringbah, I thoroughly recommend a rummage in Heaths Old Wares antique shop, open seven days. It is September and the snakes are coming out. We nearly ran over a python on the path, so watch out for snakes. It was easy to hire the bikes, the process was simple online and the person we dealt with in Mooball was delightful. There was a range of sizes of bikes. They were good bikes — although the seats were not at all comfortable. Two days later, I still have sore bum bones! Wear your padded bike shorts, people.

    Awesome experience! Highly recommend
My family and I went for a half-day ride. It was one of the most fun and memorable experiences we've had in a long time. The rail trail is stunning and the E-bikes make the whole thing effortless. I had a 4-year old in a kids trailer. My 8-year old ride her own bike and she easily rode the 26 km round trip to Hosanna Farm. The Beyond Byron staff are friendly and helpful and will get you going quickly. Everything works great and is spotless. Can't wait to go back!

    Great day out
Fun bikes to do the northern rivers rail trail. The trail itself is lovely; through farms and some villages. Well worth the trip. Bikes were comfy and had heaps of battery power. Staff/owner was very friendly. Recommended.

It's a long way! But great views
This was such an amazing bike ride. Even though it's an e-bike, the entire 50km return is a looong way. Our 4 year old enjoyed it and the stop in Hosanna at the farm, just plan if you are going to stay there long time (there are some free things to do and things that cost). We went the entire way to Murwillumbah but probably should gave turned around before the end. It took the entire 5 hours to do that full trip.

    Wonderful e-bike rivers rail ride
Fabulous ride on a great bike rail trail, lovely scenery with interesting stops & cafes along the way. Pickup & drop off behind Moo Moo Roadhouse excellent with the cafe handy for eats & coffee. Will be back next time we are in the GC. Weather was perfect as well low 20's not too hot

    Head for the hills!
A scenic wonderland! We had the best time on our self guided ride to Unicorn Falls and beyond. The bikes were perfect and powered us over some steep climbs but felt safe and comfortable to make our 57k ride enjoyable. Steve and Olivier gave us a great intro to the bikes and the trails and gave us some pointers. The falls were beautiful and we stopped at a great cafe for a coffee and pastry. The grand finale was ending for a pint at the Bilinudgel Hotel. I highly recommend this ride which is nice that it isn’t crowded and goes off the rail trail for a bit more of an active ride which was filled with open meadows, lush rainforests, and rolling streams.

Great experience! I’d highly recommend booking a self tour to get out of Byron and enjoy the hinterland. Really friendly service, bikes are amazing quality and make the ride enjoyable - especially the hill climbs. We did the Husk Distillery, Rainforest & The Rail Trail - Self Guided E Bike Tour and stopped at the Tweed Regional Gallery, and had some lunch at the cafe in Murwillumbah before finishing off with a gin & tonic at Husk.

Had a blast today on the self guided rail trail, rainforest and husk distillery tour. The ebikes were excellent, the trip itself beautifully varied and got to see the hinterlands and tweed area in a new light. Thank you Steve!

Steve and his team at Beyond Byron E bikes were fantastic. Gear was prepared for us prior to arrival and was in excellent condition. Easily followed app provided route guidance. Thoroughly recommend going through to Husk distillery. The rail trail section is flat and easy 24 km. We stopped around halfway for lunch at Hosanna Farmstay. Fantastic food and beverages and entertainment if you have kids in your group. Good options for gluten free people. The extension to Husk distillery is well worth the effort. We cycled through sugar cane just prior to harvest and then up through rain forest. The e bikes made easy work of the steep climb and the view from the top was fantastic. Husk distillery rum or gin cocktails a worthy reward at the end.

We had a fantastic time on our self guided tour. The Rail Trail is brilliant and we can't wait to see it extended to include the Byron segment (fingers crossed).
We stopped at Hosanna for lunch which was delicious and a beautiful location. Highly recommend.
Then it was back on our E bikes which made the day a breeze, especially when it came to the beautiful rainforest section. From there it was downhill to finish up at Husk Distillery. A superb way to end a wonderful day.

Fabulous ride! Lots of variety of terrain to keep things interesting once off the rail trail and going through the tunnel was fun. Loved the stops along the way to get a coffee/snack or lunch. Great for a family too! We took it slow to admire the beautiful scenery unfolding before us! 10/10!

The trail was a great mix of farmland, sugarcane fields, and rainforest. The bikes gave you a help up the hills which was appreciated. Husk Distillery was beautiful and a great prize for completing the ride. Although the seats are soft, of not used to riding distance then bike pants are recommended.
