Dimitri is so knowledged when it comes to astronomy. He pointed out to some of the most amazing constellations and stars, and we saw Saturn and Jupiter. The chosen spot is ideal for a perfect stargazing session. He truly has inspired us to get out and gaze the atmosphere lots more. It was an exceptional experience. We highly recommend it to astronomy lovers

    Starlight Fun
Great tour. Learnt a lot on how to tell the rotation of the earth by looking at the position of the stars, Constellations, what stars are planetary bodies, suns and clusters of the night sky. Questions answered. 90 minutes flew by so quick. Would love to do it again during an astronomical event.

    Blue Mountains planetarium
Star gazing was cancelled due to high clouds, did the planetarium tour instead. Started late, astrophysicist was late. Planetarium was not what I expected. Small, inflatable dome big enough for 10 people. Overall not the best experience I would've liked. Not worth the money paid.

    Interesting and informative.
This was amazing, we all learnt so much and got to see amazing views of Saturn and the moon. My very curious 7 year old had many questions and they were all answered with patience and knowledge. Great customer service too to fit us in at our preferred time.

Awesome tour to see the amazing night sky at a location not far from Sydney city
My partner and I opted for the stargazing tour with transport to-and-fro the city. It is worth the little extra premium and perfect for people who would just like to come from town and have no intention to drive/stay overnight at Blue Mountains. The driver was professional and right on the dot for pickup/drop off. Tom and the crew was amazing and extremely accomodating! We had a clear view of the sky but the clouds came to spoil the party later during the tour. Nevertheless, we had a great view of the moon through the telescope and I even managed to steady my iphone to take some pics through it! It's a perfect place to go for stargazing (with decent view of the night skies) without travelling too long and far away from the city. Would definitely come again! :) - Calvin from Singapore

    Amazing!
It was such a breathtaking experience. They told us that it would be cloudy skies later on that night, so they offered us to see the Planetarium instead. But once we arrived, they went on with the Stargazing experience but at their location. My partner and I had an amazing time, seeing different constellations, the planet Saturn, different cluster of stars, and seeing part of the milky way. The host also made hot chocolate and offered blankets to us guests. Thank you for having us and hopefully we’ll experience the Stargazing experience again but in Jervis Bay.

    Stargazing at Blue Mountains
Amazing star (and planets) gazing session with Tom and Elka. The hosts were kind and gracious, and very knowledgeable on all things astronomy. It was a great night for stargazing with clear skies. We were able to spot Saturn and its rings! Highly recommend the activity for astronomy enthusiasts (or anyone!)

It’s a must do for families visiting blue mountains!
I had an absolutely enchanting stargazing experience with my family, guided by Tom! His knowledge and enthusiasm added to the magic of the night. And to top it off, I was thrilled to catch a glimpse of Saturn from the telescope! Seeing the majestic rings of the planet up close was a truly unforgettable moment. It was a stargazing adventure that left us in awe of the cosmos. Highly recommended for anyone looking to connect with the universe!

    Lovely experience
great location, fascinating experience. Our guide was great. It was so interesting. We had the ability to ask lots of questions, and spent a fair bit of time fact checking a few science fiction movies about black holes and time slippage! It was lots of fun. Our 11 year old totally loved it and so did we. We will come back at a different time of year to see more.

    Fabulous
This was a great experience, suitable for all ages. We got to see Saturn with its rings which was amazing, and we also looked at the moon and could see its craters. Our guide Tom was very knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. The hot chocolate was yum and the blankets were cozy!

    Fascinating and entertaining
This is a really worthwhile experience. We can all look up at the stars but to have someone tell you about the universe, black holes, galaxies super nova etc. whilst pointing to objects in the sky brought it to life in a way books can't do. Bajwa was our astrophysicist and he answered all our wide ranging questions (some pretty dumb and some extremely difficult) in a calm and knowledgable way. We also got to see Saturn with its rings and two of its moons through the telescope provided. Highly recommended.

Our Host Dimitri was extremely informative, knowledgeable and happy for us to ask questions and share our enthusiasm with him.
I really enjoyed his Cultural wisdom with regard to Astronomy and the discovery of the "hidden to the eye" constellations, through his awesome tracking telescope. I have never seen, or expected that we could see Venus so clearly. Well worth the effort if in visiting Jervis Bay. Thanks Dimitri. 🤗.

Very informative and well presented tour by a professional. Dimitri was aamazing and we were able to ask questions randomly about space/stars/universe and his knowledge in the area was excellent.

We were invited to view star clusters in deep space, as well as our moon, and closeby planets.

A must for people interested in astronomy and learning about our solar system.

Magical experience with an incredibly knowledgeable host. We were lucky to have had an amazingly clear sky, and Dimitri, laser pointer in hand, highlighted and explained the night sky to us, as the talk progressed, and our eyes became more accustomed to the dark, the ribbon of the Milky Way and more heavenly objects appeared, with Dimitri explaining tricks of using peripheral vision to spot them. Major highlight was using Dimitri's wonderful telescope to see what was a blob in the sky turn in to 50, the 10 million stars!
Highly recommend this informative and entertaining experience.
