Safari Mikumi and Market in Morogoro
Me and my three children went to a day tour in Mikumi park and a market tour in Morogoro the day after. Everything was absolutely fantastic, we had the best safari experience and loved the market in Morogoro. Everything with Kurumbizi was perfect from start to end, from staring planning the tour to end of the tour. Evance has been so kind and helpful and easy to trust. Asante sana for a unforgettable trip.

          Great guide and experience!
Evance whonorgabized everything was super responsive and adjusted our program to meet our requests. Our guide Azaria was knowledgeable, friendly, punctual, flexible and very reliable. He organized and carried our lunches which were quite good. He arranged for motorocycles to take us to Morning side so we can reach Bondwa the same day. We really enjoyed our day with Azaria and we highly recommend him!

Evans did amazing job and helped me organise a trekking in Kilimanjaro and 4-day safari afterwards. Everything was well organised and they payed special attention to my dietary requirements since I am celiac. I can highly recommend booking a trip with them, you won't regret it.

Two days Uluguru hike, one night at Morning Side Hotel
We had a great time with Evance! He is a really reliable, friendly guide that is usually booked by the Dutch medical students of Mikumi, including me. He is also very handy if you want to get a better grip on your Swahili haha. In the morning we got our itinerary and according to your wishes he tries his best to show you around accordingly. Our trip consisted of two days and one night at the morning side. There is a chance to swim in the waterfall, so bring your swimsuit! Oh yes, and the food was amazing! On the second day you climb all the way to the top with a very special animal that can only be found there. All in all, I think Evance would be really recommendable for anyone who wants to have a fun time and see beautiful landscapes in the meantime.

          Amazing 2days1night Uluguru hike
We did a 2 days 1 night trip to Uluguru mountains with Evan as a group of 3 and we absolutely loved it! The hike: The first day we hiked from our hotel in Morogoro to Choma waterfalls. Afterwards we had the most amazing lunch with a local family just 5 minutes from the waterfall. It was delicious and we had a great time with them learning how to play a Tanzanian board game. After the extended lunch break we hiked to morning side camp where we could leave our luggage before we continued to the „sunset spot“. The view was stunning. Afterwards we had a great dinner at morning side and slept there in the provided tents (maybe bring your own sleeping bag, only older blankets available). The next day we hiked to Bondwa peak, had lunch at morning side on our way down before we continued and ended our trip back at our hotel. It‘s not the easiest hike (hot weather, high humidity, sometimes steep), but so worth it! The Uluguru mountains are beautiful!! But be prepared to definitely feel your legs the next day ;-) To Evan: Evan is the most lovely and helpfull tour guide. We had an amazing time with him and would recommend him to anyone. He knows so much about the Morogoro region, the mountains and is always happy to answer every curious question you might have about Tanzania in general. Evan - thank you so much for this trip we‘ll remember you dearly!

          Amazing weekend in Uluguru Mountains!
The tour was amazing, we met locals to practice our Kiswahili, took way too many photos of stunning views, beautiful plants, and special animals as the three-horned chameleon, primates high up in the trees and the green mamba snake. The food was excellent during the trip and there was a vegetarian option. At the end of our trip, we also went into Morogoro for a soko (market) tour. Evance was an amazing tour guide with excellent knowledge of the nature and culture!

Incredible 3 day hiking trip with Evans!!
Evans is an amazing guide and person! The hiking trip was beautiful and everything was very well organized. I felt very well looked after and he helped me identify a lot of birds and animals. I would definitely recommend him as a guide, he goes above and beyond.

          Recommend it allround!
We did two hiking trips with Evans; to Uluguru Mountains and Mount Meru. We really enjoyed both hikes. Everything was arranged well. Evans is a really nice and funny guy. We had a good time with him on the moutains. He knows a lot about animals and plants and likes to tell you all about it. Also the contact was easy. We would definitely recommend him as a tourguide.

Choma Waterfalls is a must-visit for anyone who loves nature and adventure!😍
The location is easily accessible by bike or through a scenic hike, making it a great option for outdoor enthusiasts.
We went with bike, but I don’t recommend going when it’s rainy season as the roads are slippery.

The stunning views along the way only heighten the excitement❤️‍🔥

The water was refreshing and cold, perfect for a dip on a warm day.😍😍😍

The views up there is so beautiful!!🔥

Entree fee at the waterfall is 2,000 tsh each

Not difficult trekking with nice views. Near the waterfall there is a views point with a panorama of the city of Morogoro - deserving every drop of sweat;)
I did my trip with a guide named Evance. Nice day spent in good company. Nice and smiling dude with whom you can have a good conversation. Also caring and with knowledge.
        I recommend!

In December we decided to do a day trip to Kinole Waterfall and were assisted by Evance from Kurumbizi. We had such a nice experience, he guided our taxi driver to the village and from there the hike begun. It took approximately 3 hours for us beginners, the trail was tricky sometimes, but thanks to Evance and one of the locals we managed to reach the waterfall. Along the way he provided us information about Kinole, the Uluguru mountains and the different kinds of vegetation. We were very satisfied and would recommend this day trip to others!

A laid back and pleasant way to spend a day. Our guide, Evans, was knowledgeable about the flora and helped us buy berries in season (mulberries and strawberries among others). The lunch was vegetarian, delicious, and there was lots of it (the cassava leaves with ginger, garlic, and coconut was particularly tasty as was the cinnamon and cardamom tea). We arranged details via whatsapp and it was all v easy to set up.

We did a daytrip hike to Choma waterfalls. The hike and waterfall were both beautiful. Our guide was very nice and had a lot of knowledge about the evironment and could tell us everything we wanted to know. After reaching the waterfall, a family living there made us the best lunch. I would definitly recommend this tour with these guides!

We actually had a day trip from the city to China waterfalls, up to Morning side and back to the city. Evans was such a great guide. Choma waterfalls was fun! Definitely planning to come back for camping activities and hike to the forest
There's improvement required for the Morning Side historical building..

The hike was really nice. Beforehand we thought 16km in total was maybe a bit too far, but in hindsight it was perfect. The nature is beautiful along the way, even in the rain. The hot lunch we received was amazing, such tasty local food!! Evance is a great guide, he reads the room very well. Also fair pricing.

What a great way to spend the day! It was great to hike up and the mountain views and waterfall were beautiful. Evance was a fantastic guide - he was super responsive when setting up the excursion through WhatsApp, suggesting options that suited my interests and needs, really good at adjusting the pace as we hiked, and so interesting to talk with . His professionalism was really appreciated.
