      Amazing day, amazing guide
Had an absolute blast of a day. Sipho is a super chilled and fun tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the town, giving us a great insight into daily life in Soweto and its history. It was great to see Soweto by foot, experience taking the local bus and taste the local food and beer. He also took very good pics! I definitely recommend this tour!

      Amazing time in Soweto
If you are looking for a unique way to discover Soweto and learn about its history, do not hesitate to book Sipho's tour! We learned a lot and had such a special time. A few days later, we received some beautiful portraits that he took while we were doing the tour which made the experience even more special and memorable. Thank you Sipho!

Strongly recommend! Sipho is so positive, fun, friendly person and have a tons of knowledge about the history and culture that is happy to share with you.
I actually didn't feel like I am on a tour, I felt more like taking a walk with a friend! That shows how friendly and amazing personality Sipho has. He explained us a lot about history and culture of the place, showed us super colorful side of Soweto, we spend a great time, took some cool photos, and ended up a tour by having local, delicious lunch (Veg option available for me and I always appreciate that a lot).
He also teach us some words in Zulu, so... Sawubona Sipho!
It was great to meet you, thank you for making my visit in Joburg that memorable and amazing. All the best for you!

I have been lucky enough to do many street art tours around the world but this was my first one in my own country and it stands out as one of my best experiences. Sipho was so accommodating with his time. He has a great knowledge of the art and artists.

I had never been to the Salt River area and learned lots about the history and people. One thing that stood out was how the people of the area appreciate the works, also other artist. There are no tagging on the pieces.

There are so many beautiful pieces speaking very important issues from nature to politics.
Sipho and I had great chats and I can’t wait to do a similar tour with his company in Jozi. Time flew past and I would definitely recommend this tour.

Because I was traveling by myself, I was looking for something different, a tour where I would see parts I wouldn't find by myself and also learn about the local culture.
This Tour with Sipho was exactly like that! It was interesting to see how I could see the same picture from a different perspective after listening to his background knowledge and personal stories.
I also really enjoyed the local community where we were, very quiet, friendly people and a nice walk. 2 h was the perfect time for this tour.

I also loved the meeting point, the local market is amazing for food lovers and local art and souvenirs.

Do the tour - you won't regret it!!!

Had such an incredible tour with Sipho. Great expertise on the history, the culture, and the day-to-day life in Soweto. Plus he has a great eye for Instagram moments, if you want to capture those too. I couldn't recommend this higher, an absolute must if you're in JoBurg.

If you want someone to show you interesting tourist spots in Capetown or JHB, I suggest you contact onedayafrica. They take away the mental admin of figuring out where to go and what to do. They are also young and full of energy.
