About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- N6200AXbrandonn0 contributionsNot what it used to be, don’t go!!!After coming to SeaWorld when I was a kid, I wanted to take my children to experience the fun and also see all of the amazing animals that I got to see. Now I can safely say that if it was to cost $110 per child when I was younger (accounting for inflation over the years keeping it relative), it would have been a stretch to ask for that with what we experienced then. It cost us $120 per adult and $110 per child. That was $460 for our family. What we got with that was: 1. An okay dolphin show that went for 5 minutes 2. A few sharks, fosh and jellyfish 3. Depressed penguins 4. Some rides (not all) 5. The worst stunt show (if you can even call it that) that you’ll ever see What it didn’t buy you was: 1. All the good rides (pay extra) 2. The $10 packet of chips 3. The food stalls that werent open (most of them) For those thinking of coming here for a bit of nostalgia and to show your kids the wonders of the sea, DON’T. You will be better off putting that money towards a nice experience with your kids. It was the worst decision I’ve made this year. And I’ve already made some terrible ones. CheersWritten 26 February 2025
- HypnoWarrior0 contributionsThe Leviathan is fast !As part of a 3 day Warner Brothers pass we came here on Day 2. We've been here before but there were some new rides and the shows had changed. As much as I love looking after the animals I don't think getting people a little wet is a bad thing (I used to love the first three rows and getting wet). Now the most the dolphins do is a handwave. The show was still very good but a lot "tamer" than before. The new Leviathan ride was quite impressive (all wood and 89km/h). Wonder how long it will last before it starts needing maintenance but a very smooth and very fast ride. My 8 year old said it was "Terrifying" afterwards.. We spent a lot of time by the pirate ships getting soaked and soaking the kids as well as the splash pad (even the wife got soaked there) as it was soo swelteringly hot. Got some great view of the Polar Bears and Manta Rays and Sharks in the Aquarium. Overall good fun day out..Written 21 February 2025
- 476phillipp0 contributionsPathetic2 the dolphin show was absolutely pathetic. Lasted 7 mins, no jumping no splashing. About 5 mins of them racing around mostly underwater. And then the show ended. All the audience didn’t know what was going on and just sat there in silenceWritten 16 February 2025
- KezMitchell0 contributionsDream come true, amazingVisited from UK as a family of four including a 12 & 14 yr old. Firstly we went on the rides available at the time, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Visited all the marine attractions whoch was nice to see they were well looked after, we particular enjoyed bay reef touching the rays. We also did the dolphin family adventure, which was out of this world, our instructor Courtney i think her name was, was amazing, knowledgable, friendly and nice vibes, clearly passionate. The dolphin Cliffy was adorable and the whole experience was definately a bucket list. Memories for a lifetime. Also shoutout to the photographer for taking some awesome snaps. We also enjoyed the dolphin show and stunt show. Will 100% visit again if we come back to 🇦🇺 in the future.Written 14 February 2025

- simonj1020 contributionsBaadPark opens at 9.30am the most popular ride wasn't open until 10.30am. They kept us on the queue for one hour. Couldn't they try the ride before the parks open??!!Written 24 January 2025
- familytripswith40 contributionsA lovely and memorable day 💕We have just had a delightful day with our children at Sea World. Without doubt the dolphin show, shark reef and penguins were firm favorites. Yes the wait time for rides was long but hey what more could you expect for school holidays. I was definitely a little surprised that pre purchasing your ticket earnt you a wait in a very very long line but if you decided to buy at the gate you walked right in 🤷🏻♀️ There were plenty of staff throughout the park but only 1 person running each kids ride. This was frustrating as the whole process of getting people on and off the ride could have easily been streamlined, hence reducing wait times considerably. Lots of shaded areas to stop at throughout the park but when lined up for a ride it was full sun. I also appreciated being able to take and enjoy a “packed lunch” keeping the cost of the day to entry fee and an ice-cream treat. There was 1 water refill station available so bring your drink bottles. Polar bear exhibit closed however after reading some reviews I can see why. Overall a day that I will always look back on with very happy memories (like I do from my childhood visit!)Written 21 January 2025
- Dadpartyof50 contributionsBook The Family Rescue Ranger Experience At Sea World! The Sea World theme park was massive but easy to walk around and had sections of the park for everyone - the nice thing about Sea World is that there are a few big rides for the thrill seakers but then animal exhibits for those who want to get up close to some unique marine life and also some good kid areas for younger audiences. It feels like there's a dolphin exhibit around every corner and you get to be so close to them, even from the normal pathway! The dolphin show that runs a few times a day is awesome, and you can also see some amazing fish above and below ground in Shark Cove. The rides were great, maybe 5-6 ones for adults and then several for younger kids in the Nickelodeon area. Leviathan was awesome but waits over school holidays could be 40-min. My family loved Storm Chaser and most waiting areas were under shade, so that was good. However, the best part of Sea World was the Family Rescue Ranger Experience we purchased, on top of the park admission. The write up keeps the experience high-level, but it was absolutely amazing for my 3 kids, wife and I (max groups of 6, minimum group purchase for 4). The cost was around $600 but over the 2-hours, you get a private tour from one of the Sea World animal team-members, who takes you behind the scenes to see rehabing sea turtles, go in a glass bottom boat, snorkel through a reef pool (not the big reef snorkel - that's separate), pat and feed a sea lion, feed and interact with the dolphins (on land, not the in-water ones but still amazing) and a few other things. But the best part of it, was we got to go into the 'den' where the 3x polar bears are - Hudson, Nelson and Mishka and literally be 3-feet away from them, behind very protective fencing with all security protocol in place. I had no idea this was going to be a part of the tour and I was in awe the whole time during this part - we got to see the trainers and staff team feed them and talk about how they do the health checks, hear about how you keep artic mammels in a humid climate, and any other questions we all had. These are massive animals and to be that close to them was a once in a life time experience. In all, it was a great Christmas gift and my family will remember doing that for their whole lives. Shout-outs -Massive shout out and thank you to our guide, Tia, who was extremely informative, kind, patient, and had remembered all of our names by the time we left orientation. 5-star guide! -Deborah at Guest Services - extremely helpful in making sure we had all of the information sorted before our experience the day before. -Robyn with Animal Experiences, who made sure we were in the right place at the right time, shared some great history of the park and the other animal experiences that were on offer. All of these people, and their extended staff, were extremely kind the entire time and made sure we had what we needed or were quick to answer a question if we had one. We look forward to coming back again soon!Written 16 January 2025
- 685lexig0 contributionsstupid sea world.the lines were way too long, took us about 2 hours per ride and the workers were not working hard enough. i feel as if they should have more rides to separate the people.Written 7 January 2025
- 497kennyn0 contributionsHorrible service for animal activiesI wanted to provide feedback about my visit today to your park. I was very very disappointed. My group has recently arrived from Singapore we come to this park for many years and the lovely lady named ?Robin? Was not there to help us. Every year we come she has helped my family with all the animal activities. She really friendly, very sad shes not here. The staff on today were absolutely useless, The young one - cannot remember her name, was particularly useless did not know anything about program.Written 2 January 2025
- Nathan W0 contributionsLove this place!!We love this place so much and always make sure we visit when on holidays. Staff are friendly and parking is easy. We had a frustrating start to our day with all prepaid ticket holders forced to enter through a longer line than the general sales queue. When we reached the entrance, it all made sense. Park photos (Green screen) that slowed the queue that of course are not part of the ticket price. Please open the main queue and let people enter more efficiently as I’m sure like many families, we just want to get inside and enjoy the park.Written 30 December 2024
- mfo680 contributionsBrilliantThe Dolphin show is a must. The Seal and jetski shows are good. There are rides for the whole family. Lethiathan is awesome but hurts your neck with all the jerking movement. Don't miss the aquarium.Written 30 December 2024
- ngaymer0 contributionsSea Life for BeginnersVisited Sea World with family. I was pleased to see that the dolphin show had changed, showing more respect for these beautiful creatures. The stunt show also had changed but it was fun to watch and a little funny. We had 2 little ones with us and ended our day at the kids water park. We also cooled off by joining them. Great space for adults, teens and little ones alike. Would have loved to do the helicopter ride but really overpriced for just a 5 minute flight. We can fly for 1/2 hour at that price. I was also disappointed there was no monorail. Would love to see this run again.Written 30 December 2024
- StephOSulli0 contributionsFantastic day out!We thoroughly enjoyed our day at SeaWorld. I haven't been to Seaworld for years and this was my two young daughters' first time (aged 5 and 9). We loved our day there! Lots of fun and rides for everyone. The children loved the underwater exhibit and we spent a fair chunk of time enjoying the reef underwater observatory. Special mention to Rosalie who helped us with directions when we first arrived at the theme park, Maddie at Dockside and Felicity at the JetSki ride (who helped reassure my daughter!). Everyone we encountered during our day there was friendly and happy to help. We also stayed at SeaWorld Resort which made getting to and from Seaworld easy :) . Highly recommend!Written 12 December 2024
- ThomasL73120 contributionsPanting Polar Bear, hot weather…nice ridesSome fun rides and exhibits. But I couldn’t shake the fact the polar bear was visibly heat stressed and panting. For an animal comfortable at sub zero temperatures, it was hard to believe it was made to live in hot weather. I was hot in a t-shirt and shorts, let alone thick fur. And dolphins bred for show…? Clearly questionable ethics hereWritten 29 November 2024

Only had tickets for SeaWorld. Wasn't sure what to expect under COVID. Not to bad, access to areas obviously good due to COVID. No wait lines, yay!
Some areas under renovation, eating areas were clean but pest birds were a problem in the eating area. All day drinks good idea, frozen Canadian Club not so much (got loaded and the glowy jelly fish made me feel weird) Food was on the pricey side needs a few more eating options. Some areas run down and in need of a coat of paint. Some staff looked like they did not want to be there, I get it but bury that anger down deep. Most staff were excellent and great service. Most of the Souvenirs are overpriced and not really good selection also not made for all sizes. All made in China. The Lake Show was interesting and not what I was expecting. To anyone reading this be aware it's geared towards a theme that my 11 year old loved. Still a good show! Go the Rats! Jelly fish and penguin displays amazing. Dolphin and seal display wonderful. I still feel dolphins are a judgemental race of tuna eaters that are biding their time.

It's a fun and educational experience for the family to enjoy. There's rides, carnival games, water park play area, great learning animal exhibits and animal shows too. Lots of souvenir shops, cafes/ snack carts as well as bathroom/ toilet facilities. It's hot queuing in the sun so pack hats, water bottles, suncream and a water spray bottle is helpful. Children can wear their swimmers on rides but must wear shorts. You can pack your own food to bring in. .... Bring a waterproof bag or pouch which you can wear (e.g. fanny pack) as the fast rides don't allow you on with hats, sunglasses or small bags. There are lockers but they are taken quickly ... My suggestion for Seaworld is create more free water stations for people and more shade for the queue lines too. ... We still managed to enjoy ourselves although the monorail was not operational, some of the rides were closed for maintenance and the lockers near the Storm ride were not working either. A late thunderstorm warning meant the jet ski show and the rides closed earlier this day.

We have visited many a times old Seaworld, and doesn’t really change. Shows only early or late so if you get a bus you usually miss them as we did. Need a show about 1 also as shows get packed. The new kids section is good but they need to update from teenage mutant ninja turtles.

Movie World is such a disappointment. Have been coming for years. Only 3 rides available for adults, wait time up to 4 hours for one. Stunt show was more like 'Driving Miss Daisy'. So disappointing as like everything...costs esculated but value for money so poor. Seaworld was a little better but again so many rides shut. Out of all of the 3 Wet N Wild was the stand out.

We bought the three day pass which gives you access to Sea World, Wet n Wild and Movie World over 5 consecutive days. We then planned our days around the weather to land Wet n Wild on the hotter of the three days. The pass is well worth it, you save a significant amount of money than if you were to only go to one of the worlds - $109 vs $179 for all three - its a no brainer.

Checked their website 4 weeks before travelling to get a time where ride maintenance was at a minimum. After saving two years arrived with our 7 day passes ($450 for 3) only to find that Movie World had just about every major ride closed and the couple that were open had hour long waits. Then find out that Wet n Wild only opening from Thursday to Sunday. So given our timing we could only go on one day. It is a complete tort at best, and a dishonest one at worst to sell tickets under false pretences when misinforming people of maintenance schedules and ride closures, let alone entire park closures. So the 3 park ticket I bought is really a two park ticket, with the odd day of the third. After buying the tickets they then tell you that you can pay extra to get priority access past the ‘have nots’. In some instances they even line the two economic groups side by side so the poor can watch the more affluent walk on in. A great way for parents to teach their young ones of the economic classes in our society, all in the name of good family fun. If that ain’t enough for you then you are welcome to pay inflated prices for food and drinks. That’s the Aussie spirit.

Seriously what a money grabbing grubby company this is. We bought the park passes for our family nearly $800. The first time we went to movie world we achieved only 3 rides as the lines where at least 1.5 hrs long. Our second attempt at movie world we were in a line for a single ride for nearly 2 hours. Unless you are prepared to spend an extra $180 to purchase the fast track on top of your original ticket price. The whole day is wasted. So many angry people! Shame on you!

We were meant to enjoy a day of fun in family. First we have driven almost 3 hours from Noosa to the Park. It was already packed when we went through the gates at 10.30. We had to wait 4.5 hours to do the new attraction my kids wanted to do. That’s greedy from this park. Way too many people. The company works for greed. The crowd is way too much. They should work the numbers in a manageable way so no one should wait for more than 15-20 min for a ride. We had 6 hours of driving, 4.5 hours of queuing for 1 min of fun. That’s very bad!😡 that’s reap off from this theme park.

Wow!!! This is still one of the best things to do with the Kids on the Gold Coast. The Theme Pass is an absolute hit with my grand children and I every time they come down to the Gold Coast from Brisbane....We loved the Spooky Night. It was so impressive with entertainers in fantastic costumes and loads of Halloween fun for the kids...

On arrival at Sea World, we were met by Cody who was extremely helpful and informative, who then put us onto Robyn in the Animal Experiences Building who went above and beyond to explain all of Sea Worlds Animal encounters which we purchased. John in the gift shop also gets a shoutout for his friendly disposition aswell as Dion in the Dolphin Encounter. You all went about your job with devotion to the public in a genuine manner. We will definatly be back soon.

Hi will be there from the 27th of Dec to 29th will I need a fast pass as it is a weekend and summer holidays and how much does a fast pass cost ? Thank you
Written 9 October 2019
Those dates are defiantly peak times of the year, Movie World fast track is $99 and well worth it as you will get straight to the front of the lone on all the major rides, also Wetnwild offer a fast track for $60. You can purchase these fast passes inside the park i would especially when its busy its just makes the experience not so frustrating waiting in lines all day.

If I get the 7 or 14 days package, does it include the skip Q to all rides options? Or do we still have to pay extra on TOP of it.
Written 13 July 2019
good afternoon , when buying the 3 7 or 14day passes neither include the skip Q pass, that is an addition cost you can buy at the park. Its a better option to wait till you get to the parks and it may be a good day with not to many people and you wont need to buy the skip q ticket.
The only two parks that include the skip Q is
Movie World $99
WetnWild $70
i hope this has been helpfull

Our children have summer vacations in June and this is the only time we can plan a visit. Is it too cold in June month to visit ' Wet n wild' theme park. What would be the water temperature. Read somewhere that the park has heated pools and water. I'm asking this because we are very fond of water parks and would love to visit this on our trip. Can someone confirm?
Written 23 June 2019
June is the perfect time to visit Wet n Wild , the average temp in the pools is at 25 degrees but depending on the wind and the overnight temp change the water may still feel a little chilly but usually the kids are running around from slide to slide and most rides have stairs to walk up so this definitely keeps your body warm, there is heated spas in the park if you didn't want to spend the whole day in the pools and slides.
