Our shuttle driver Stu was extremely informative, helpful and kind. Leant loads on the drive to the start point. Good e-bikes. Gladstone extension was stunning, albeit challenging in the very strong wind. The whole ride, all the way to Te Anau was fun and stunning. It's graded Easy, but if you haven't ridden a bike for many years you could find it challenging in more than a few places. If you don't feel confident riding over the swing bridge you can walk the bike over. This must be one the most beautiful bike rides anywhere!

We paid for the extended ride to include the Gladstone Track which we highly recommend as it means you get to see more of Lake Hawea which was one of the most beautiful parts of the ride. Highly recommend this tour. The guide who dropped us off at the starting point was great too. The bikes were high quality good bikes also. One of the best days we had!

First off, we were blessed with the best day for riding bikes. Then Stu came along with this laid back and welcoming attitude that made me want him to come on the ride with us. He arrived on time, no fuss and prepped with a map and details so we didn't get lost. Also gave us his number incase we ran into issues. On the drive up Stu talked about fun facts and pointed out some interesting things to look at on the drive. It was super enjoyable. Halfway through the ride we pass a road and Stu is there to check in on us, make sure the bikes are alright and we are going well. !00% Stu is the man and this was one of the best days of our trip. TLDR - Stu is amazing, Wanaka Bike Tours is incredible, 10/10 Recommend.

Booked the trip 4 days in advance, I rented an normal mountain bike which was really good gear. with plenty of bags to stow your stuff. The route itself was very scenic 40k from lake Hawea to wanaka. i took many pictures on my way. The instruction how to cycle and what route to take were very good and precise. All with all i would highly recommend this trip.

We did the Lake Hawea to Wanaka bike ride on the E-bikes and this made the ride a breeze! The views along the way were spectacular! Would definitely recommend doing it this way if you would love to take your own time and soak in the amazing scenery of the area from a different perspective. Thank you Stu for an amazing experience. Look forward to doing it all again in the future!

We had a great time biking around Wanaka. There are miles of trails and we only saw a small portion of them. The guys at Wanaka Bike Tours were friendly and very helpful. There was a small problem with a bike after they dropped it off and they came right out and corrected it. Highly Recommend!

Wanaka eco ebike tour was such an inspiring insight into the many community projects that community organisations that are currently running in wānaka. And what a better way to see Wanaka than on a beautiful day than by ebike. Elaine who took care of the group was an amazing tour guide with so much local knowledge and stories that totally made the whole experience.

Wanaka Bike Tours made our day out on the trails amazing. Bruce was awesome showing us where to go and giving us local tips. Super accommodating to get us out on short notice. The ride from Lake Hawea back to Wanaka is beautiful with tons to see. The trails are fairly easy but still very interesting. Would highly recommend the ride and definitely do it with Wanaka Bike Tours.

Good experience in riding electric bike fm Hawea river to Wanaka. It was relax and happy. Amazing scenery we looked, and I have good time with my two boys.

We rented bikes as a family and did the Gladstone track back to Wanaka. The weather was perfect and the scenery of the ride incredible. This company were fantastic. Very easy to deal with from booking, to meeting on the day and regularly checking in throughout the day to make sure everything was going well. Some great knowledge provided on the area. Would highly recommend to anyone. Gladstone track extension is definitely worth it.

Well preserved and tuned bikes, moderately easy track, reasonable for children and non common bikers. Although capability of riding a bike is needed 😃 beatiful scenery, rivers and lakes where you can dip and swin.

Great way to more of the beautiful nature around Wanaka via a active way. Do not hesitate… Just book it!
