This is a fantastic way to spend the morning. I'd never ridden before but Caroline helped me feel comfortable and at ease. The trek was across some magnificent scenery with breathtaking views. It was such good value for money. We were a small group and some of the others were more experienced riders. They were more adventurous and were able to canter for a while and also had a great time. I thoroughly recommend this trek.

Carol and Jasmine were so lovely, it was our favourite horse trek we’ve done. The horses were all well behaved and it had a great view of Cromwell and surrounding mountains! We loved that their business is ethically run, horses well cared for and loved.

Our daughter had never been on a horse and wanted to experience a ride so we booked the 2 hour trek with Karo. She is a very friendly and wonderful host who took care in teaching us the rudiments of riding horses. We spent a lovely time winding up into the hills on the property. The horses were very well behaved and the views spectacular. A memorable and extremely enjoyable trip. Highly recommended.

Beautiful ride through the orchards and up a hill to see all of Cromwell. Myself and my partner are two unexperienced riders and we felt confident and safe on the gentle, well mannered horses. Karo and her sister were lovely too.

Karo led us through an enjoyable horse trekking journey over the hills and valleys of Cromwell. We enjoyed the stunning views on horseback. The horses were friendly. Karo knew their habit and gave us useful instructions to ride them safely. She is a friendly and knowledgeable guide and instructor.

We just did a one hour walking family ride. Karo was amazing with our 5 and 6 year old daughters. The horses were lovely natured and in great condition. Karo loves her horses. The ride was scenic and beautiful. I think the ride was good value for money. Karo was very patient with our chatterbox, question-asking children, and gave them all the care in the world. We wish Karo all the best with her business.

Such a relaxing way to enjoy a couple of hours. Felt totally at ease as a novice rider on a clearly well trained and cared for horse . The friendly tour guide and views across the valley completed a wonderful experience

Didn't make it to enjoy the adventure. First I tried to contact this company via email but they didn't reply. Then I found their adventure from Tripadvisor and booked it. The reservation wasnt confirmed immediately. I tried to call them couple of times and finally ended up to just cancel my reservation. I assume they were busy because of holidays but still annoying to wait a whole day for the confirmation or cancelling and we couldnt make any other plans.

A really great two hour horse ride up small mountains - right alongside some apricot and nectarine farms
Our guide - Jess - was lovely and was happy to chat along the way and answer any questions we had
The horses were really chilled and relaxed - which was perfect for beginners like us

What a fantastic trek. From start to finish. Not a touristy place so very original.
I rode Rasa who was a lovely horse to ride and easy to tack up.
We rode past some orchards and all over the hills overlooking lake Dunstan, these were spectacular views.
Karolin was a lovely guide and was awesome to chat to. It was a ride we were both able to enjoy especially as it offered multiple times to trot and have a good canter. The only thing I would change is a sign stating where the gate was to enter the trekking facility as it is a bit confusing, but despite this , I would highly recommend going on this one of a kind horse trek either by self or with a friend.
