This was an action packed fun activity. Ciaron was our driver with good sense of humour & some interesting information about the river & the jet boat. The spins we did was awesome. Highly recommend

The staff really made this tour. Loads of fun, kids had a blast but the best part were definitely our guides Tully and Becs. Thanks guys for creating the best memories, dad jokes and all ☺️

The team were so great and reassuring- they had a great sense of humor and didn't get annoyed it took me three tries before I jumped! They were also great with my Japanese friends who spoke little English, te team made sure my friends understood all the safety measures and were happy. Highly recommend, such a kind and fun loving crew!

Before we conclude our New Zealand trip, we wanted to do a classic New Zealander adventure i.e. Bungy jumping. We tried our luck at AJ Hackett near Cromwell but couldn't get a slot. As per our travel plan, we were looking for something near Christchurch and came across this one which was very suitable! For group of 3, we got 2 slots for 12 and 1 at 4 PM. We went to there and saw that each timeslot has only 4 jumpers and requested them to accommodate 1 more at 12 so that we get more time in Christchurch before our flight back to the US. The "jump master" (as they call it) was ok with it since we were already there and jump takes just a few seconds. But their manager strongly denied and sent 1 of us back and asked to come back at 4. (I am almost sure that had it been in the US or Canada, they would have accommodated the request). At the actual jump site, there were only 2 people helping jumpers and it looked overall less professional compared to AJ Hackett as we saw from outside. They also asked me to hold their GoPro camera in hand while jumping. I was getting more worried for droping that camera into the water than about myself :D . The manager (Mark? or Mike?) also was present up at the jump and was making final checks however he was very unfriendly tending towards rude and his attitude was not much helpful when you are about to jump from 35 meter high bridge. There was another guy who was cracking funny jokes to lighten the mood of nervous jumpers but he was speaking with only white people so I didn't qualify! The boat crew for my jump were the only friendly people I came across but for my friends, there was a lady in the boat who was also rude! While this was my first jump and I enjoyed the experience, a little friendlier gesture of the staff would have made a lot of positive difference!

I wanted to give my teenage boys an adventure experience. Hanmer Jet Boats had good reviews and price. The booking process was seamless and the confirmation email was comprehensive. Our driver Maadie was very friendly and professional, and had us sorted quickly. She took us for a thrilling ride and stopped a few times to talk about the local features. She told us the twin Lexus V8 engines allowed us to get up to 85 kph! There were lots of twists and turn, along with a few spins to keep things exciting. Afterwards the video was ready to watch by the time got back to reception. A great experience overall.

We chose a moon buggy so me and my boyfriend could be together. It was so much fun! My boyfriend drove first then I did when we were going back. Just be ready to get wet 'cause you'll be crossing rivers, which was my favourite part.

Drove from Christchurch for this quad biking experience and had a thoroughly enjoyable 2 hours riding the trails and through the creeks/river crossings. The quad bikes were brand new and easy to handle and our guide pushed our capabilities without making us feel anxious or unsafe. Very good value for money with beautiful scenery as the backdrop and the trails being challenging enough to keep it interesting. Great customer service, made us feel very welcome. A great way to make my son's 18th birthday memorable.

Was a fantastic jet boat ride, the hospitality was amazing. We throughly enjoyed ourselves. We have mobility issues that were catered for brilliently.

Called in to Hanmer Springs Attractions on a whim as we came into town. The guys had already stopped work for the day but were happy to chat to us about tour options and availability booking us for a Jet Boat ride the next morning. Cieran was our driver and after kitting us up with the requisite safety gear, loaded us into the twin V8 jet powered boat. The value for money in this experience was something we noted against other tourist activities in the South Island of New Zealand, well worth the money. Cieran had great control over the boat and clearly knew the intricacies of the Waiau Uwha River making sure we got our hair wet in a few spins of the boat. Cieran also stopped along the way to explain some of the details of the area and the craft we were riding in. Great experience, highly recommended, friendly and experienced guide team.

Did the two hour quad bike with Sam.. Fantastic way to spend the morning and then hit the thermal pool in the afternoon. Great set up and clear instructions on do's and do not's on the quads. But still plenty of fun had. Really varied terrain throughout the trip as well as stunning views. Lost count on how many river/water crossings we did. Allowed to get a good speed on them to get a good splash. Sam was super relaxed but always ensured everyone was safe and happy. Got to have a stop and check out the views, topped of with a drink and some cracking biscuits! Looked at doing this sort of trip in other locations but I really don't believe you can beat this for fun, views and brilliant value for money. Mark (middle aged and works in a office).

Hanmer Springs attractions were amazing all staff so friendly and welcoming. we came by bus so they offered us a ride to the departure point. The price was reasonable for this activity and our expert skipper Cieran was Awesome very professional and gave us some good history of the area. Highly recommend going with this company they really look after you. Hamilton Turns were a nice adrenaline rush as was the river scenery.

We had an awesome time here with Daniel as our guide / host on first the quad bike tour in the morning and then the jet boat in the afternoon. Quad bikes were easy to drive and the two hour experience had us going through water crossings and viewing spectacular views. At the half way point we were provide refreshments of water and a biscuit. Glad to have the provided overalls and gum boots on to protect our clothes. Then for the jet boat experience which lasted almost an hour we had Daniel as the driver. He made the ride exciting (some spins, and turns close to the bank) and stopped at various points to explain the boat, views and other things to us. Purchased some reasonably price souvenirs. Very enjoyable time here. No complaints with this company, but we booked and payed ahead online through GoNewZealand and found out we could have got it cheaper just turning up and paying on the day.

We so enjoyed our rafting experience, Kylie came to pick us up and right from the word go she was fun and informative. The equipment supplied was good quality and comfortable. Our river guide Lena was clear in her directons and made all involved feel confident on the water. We covered about 10km and although the river was fairly calm we still enjoyed the sections of rapids we went down. Made us want to do it again when the river runs even quicker. The jet boat ride back was fantastic too and made us realise just how far we had travelled.
