Tony guided and entertained us for the trip, along with lining up four enjoyable wineries in the Yarra Valley. We joined others for a total of 15 people, Tony can take up to 24. Pick up and drop off in the CBD was easy, the bus was fine, but it’s all about the wine and experience - I purchased bottles as well as extra glass of wine along the way. If you are searching in vain for one to choose, as I did four months ago, stop, and just book the tour. You won’t be disappointed.

The transport was far from the luxury coach advertised - it was a very tired and noisy mini bus and the seating did not enable us to sit together. The tastings were fairly hurried and I felt we did not get to taste the best of the Yarra. The tour guide was a brash fellow but I felt overall he was not that interested in providing a great experience. Could do better.

We had such a great time on the winery tour! Tony was a fantastic host/tour guide, and we got to taste some fantastic wines and meet so many wonderful people!

Both the wine tour and the overnight stay at Balgownie Estate are great but I think it’s better just to stick to the Yarra Valley day tour. The overnight tour follows the exact itinerary of the day tour with an added overnight accommodation (no special arrangements for the overnight tour). You follow the AM itinerary on the first day with one group, check in to Balgownie Estate in the afternoon and follow a second group the next day for the PM itinerary. There really isn’t anything to do at Balgownie Estate after checking in as you wouldn’t have any transport to visit the nearby wineries so I would say it’s not worth it stretching the tour over 2 days.

Entertaining driver. A good range of vineyards visited. Excellent lunch. We were hoping to learn more about the wine making process than this tour offered. But an enjoyable day.

Amazing wine tour - convenient pick up / drop-off, 4 very different but quality wineries, comfortable air-conditioned bus, but the real highlight was guide Tony’s running commentary on wine, the Yarra Valley, Australia and life in general. Thanks Tony for making this a day I’ll remember for a long time!

It was enjoyable great tour! Even I was alone, I made many friends at the moment. We can try many kinds of wine. Eat Lunch and drink a glass of wine at a nice restaurant. I definitely recommend this Tour for everybody who loves wine.

I've been on a number of wine tours and this was by far the best. Excellent value for money. The food at lunch was delicious. Our driver (Tony) was fantastic. Without a doubt would book again.

Honestly we had the best day. The driver and host John was a joy to spend time with and we tasted some excellent wines and had the best lunch - all in amongst beautiful countryside. We couldn't fault the day - totally worth the cost. We can't wait to return to the Yarra Valley.

We had a fab fun day which was made even more fun with our knowledgeable driver Tony. We visited 4 really good wineries were we sampled bubbles, whites, rose and reds. There was no pressure or expectation to purchase at any of the wineries but we did as the wines were so good. The lunch we had at the 2nd winery was really really good. The company on the bus were great too, especially the American ladies, Conny, Kathy and Nancy ( sorry Canadian😀) and the newly engaged Chris and Luke.

Wonderful wine tour. Tony was a great guide, the four wineries were excellent and lunch was delicious. Hard recommend.

An excellent way to spend the day. A small group tour visiting four different wineries. The scenery was lovely and our driver was very helpful. The information about the wines was interesting and the tasting was good. The lunch we had was excellent.

Good day trip out to the Yarra Valley. Good range of wines to try and lunch included was great. Good value for the price paid. Would recommend.

Our guide, Tony, provided excellent and fun commentary from the start of this pleasant tour. Lots of wine poured at 4 wineries, so be prepared to pace yourself! Lunch was delicious, at the second stop. Would have liked a snack, maybe crackers, cheese or fruit, since we had so much wine. Or perhaps a suggestion before the tour to bring some ourselves. Overall though a very enjoyable day.
