Excellent private tour. Viewed many waterfalls with Carlos as our tour guide. Hot springs and lunch were excellent. Highly recommend.

Awesome experience. Would highly recommend going on this excursion. Got to see so many beautiful waterfalls and amazing sites. Our tour guide, Andres was the perfect guide!! He knew all the best places to see and gave us a lot of insight to what we were looking at.

For our last day in Costa Rica we decided to have a full day out to see the Miravalles Volcano and springs as well as tour the waterfalls (with an additional stop to see the Llanos del Cortez waterfalls on the way). A well organised tour with decent lunch and mix of sightseeing and spa activities at the volcano itself. Our 6 year old enjoyed the day especially the short hike to the Miravalles waterfalls. Andreas was our guide and looked after us for the day. Would definitely recommend this activity.

My daughters in their 20s went on this rather than me, so writing it from their point of view. We booked through Tui. They had a fabulous day, the guide was very helpful and considerate. They were asked in advance if they minded falling out of the raft. Another lady on their shuttle bus was on crutches so she was put in to another boat so they could be treated differently. They had a fun-filled adrenaline packed day and said the scenery was lovely. Photos were taken by the guides which were expensive but purchases as no other ways of getting them.

This was one of our favorite excursions we did all week. We went on 5 different day trips. We had already been to the waterfalls on a separate excursion so since we were the only ones on the trip we were able to skip it. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and we had a great time talking to him about just costa rica in general on our drive. The suspended bridges were amazing and the mud bath/hotspring/volcano was great. I couldn't recommend this trip enough

The views were gorgeous, the lunch was delicious, and our guide was the best! He told us everything we wanted to know about Costa Rica. Definitely a must do!

We did rafting for my friends birthday and we had such a great time. Jason was our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable and kind. We spent a lot of time on the water and the lunch was fantastic. Definitely recommend! Just bring bug spray!

This was the best fishing charter we have been on as a family! It was less expensive than the ones in the states. These young men knew everything about fishing in the area. Be advised this is a fishing not a "party" boat. No beer was provided. The bathroom was "rustic" Plenty of soda, water, and fresh fruit was provided. I even tried some Costa Rican chips made from Planta. My son caught his biggest fish ever within minutes of putting his line in. It was a 20 lb. Tuna. The gentlemen were friendly and even washed our saddles for us when got on board. You will be taking a much smaller boat out to their 28 foot boat. Also, I loved the shaded canopy they had over cushioned seats for me relax and get out of the sun. If you are looking to get a big one I recommend the full day, Also, if you do not speak any Spanish, don't worry, the captain spoke great English.

We had a great experience all around with Pininos Adventures. All of the people who worked with us on the excursions were very friendly and super patient and helpful. The food was also amazing, it was great to taste some authentic Costa Rican food! Definitely recommend getting the photo package because it is super cheap considering all the photos you get and they are great quality. (I have attached some of the photos we got taken) Overall we were very pleased with the experience and definitely recommend it to anyone!

This is a great excursion. Jason was an amazing guide and so fun to spend the day with. The entire experience was well worth the money spent. We will definitely be back to do it again.

Waterfalls were astounding & our guide, Raynor was very knowledgeable about the area both at the volcano & the drive there. He was patient & kind & made sure we had a fun & safe adventure. We happened to be there on a very windy day & definitely could have used our rain jackets which we had left behind. Also a pair of sandals for walking around the mud bath/sauna/hot springs area would have been nice. I thought we had to carry everything in our backpacks the whole time, so was trying to minimize the load, but it was easy to retrieve things from the van at different points. overall it was a great experience with a great guide!

We had a great day being guided by Ranier. He is very knowledgeable about the area and he went out of his way to make sure we had a great time.

I would definitely go again! It was scary but once the trip was over I wanted to come back the next day!

We were traveling with another couple and had decided to book an adventure the four of us could participate in together. The Miravalles tour fit the bill. Carlos was a personable guide, generous with his knowledge and funny as well. Our group did consist of one person who is afraid of heights, so the rope bridge was challenging, but we all made it across, and back! As it turned out, we had the locations pretty much to ourselves the morning we were there, which was great, and the weather held out until we had finished our activities and then the skies opened up. We would highly recommend both the tour (some endurance and cardio is helpful) and Carlos!

We had a wonderful experience! Our guides, Mario, Luiz and Fernando were fantastic. They took very good care of us (including grandma - thanks Luiz!) making sure we had a good time and that we were safe. The rapids were nice since it rained earlier. The views were spectacular. Rafting the Tenorio river is highly recommended. This is the second time we used this company. We used them in June 2018 and Fernando was also our guide back then. It's good see you again Fernando. Mario, you are crazy (in a good way). We had a blast, thanks!
