We arrived enjoyed the sea life park, after it closed they are corralled into a an area to wait for the luau to begin.

We were given table 82 and when we got there it only was a tiny table that had one chair and there were three of us and it was right beside the three garbage cans, we questioned that we had paid the mid range price and we were supposed to be closer to the stage!?! We were moved to a better table. The blue wristband people were sent in for their food, and we shortly were allowed to join at the end of that line. I gather there were over 400 people to be fed, we brought our food back to the table and discovered it was cold, the pork dish was incredibly salty and it completely inedible. The chicken on my plate turned out to be a back bone of a chicken with no meat on it , the fish though the portions were very small was tasty. Definitely not a gourmet experience. The drinks, two small plastic glasses for each ticket of watered down Mai Tai’s ( only choice) were tasteless and assume from a mix. The entertainment was fun, but for $149.00 / USA $ per person I would not do it again.

( you can have an incredible meal at RC steak house for less per person)

Watching the dolphins, sea lions, turtles was a very worthwhile experience . Definitely need new chef’s / food prep persons….. and bar tenders, not everyone likes tasteless Mai Tias!

Company not following COVID-19 protocols listed on their website or state mandates. Told everyone masks were optional, then had everyone line up shoulder to shoulder for 15-20 minutes (absolutely no way to distance at this point). Unsure why they couldn’t have waited until we were all seated before announcing masks optional. Also not sure why they had us line up. Could come up with a much better entrance process. Tables nearly touching and with chairs pushed out, minimal to no distancing. The entertainment was fantastic. Enjoyed the performers and drinks. The food was just ok and disorganized. Paid for a vegetarian option but no direction on how to get this, so ended up with the main meal and only at salad and rice. Way to high of pricing for that meal! The management should consider better signage or direction from staff.

Our family had so much fun!! It was very
entertaining and educational. The show was interactive and helps you to get a glimpse into the rich Polynesian culture. The luau is set right on
the coast at Sealife Park. The performers were top
notch! One in particular was Kekoa. From the time he welcomed everyone and throughout his many
performances we can appreciate the talent these
entertainers have. The staff was very friendly and
accommodating. They made us feel like a part of
their ohana. We had a memorable time and would
recommend to someone who doesn't want a luau
with 750 people but a luau that's a little more
        intimate.

Even though the entertainment was very 1970s Waikiki, the Performance was definitely the best part of the luau. The food was an embarrassment to all Hawaiians. We understand under Covid that the buffet wouldn’t be open as usual. Our food came in styrofoam boxes. The only edible things were the green salad and King’s Hawaiian Sweet rolls. My Kalua pork was basically just cabbage. The tiny tasting poi was runny and they added sugar…yuck! We got 2 drink coupons that covered both alcohol and soda. For the price we paid, $110 per person we should’ve had decent food and free soda. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

This is my 4th luau in Honolulu and may I say the worst. I wanted to go to one I haven’t been to in the past and instead, I should have stuck with a tried experience.
Once we entered and were seated at multiple tables I noticed parties were double booked for the same table. A little while into the evening, as they opened up the buffet, a representative comes over and starts moving us around. My child wanting to eat , me having to stay to see what’s going to happen with seating. Instead of seating the double booked patrons into vacant seats, they scoot us down, so I end up at a different table with a dirty by this time table cloth ( not a big thing, but for $533 I want a clean table cloth).
Anyway, I get over it and try to enjoy the food and the show. We get back on our bus, and the bus doesn’t work. They called for two buses to come back and pick us up and that took a while. Overall, would not recommend. Try Paradise Cove or Germain’s.

We had a problem with the initial the initial start of the luau. They started feeding people section by section but at the same time they were having shows on the stage that we were missing out on you don't think that that was fair for the customers that were waiting in line waiting for food and could not get to appreciate what was on stage.
At time of departure there was not an assigned court signed coordinator with the complete list to be able to tell you what bus you are writing. We were totally lost and had asked many drivers am I on your bus am I on your bus when my wife had to intervene and And figure out from asking many people what bus we were writing.
It would also help if you had a electronic board showing what area you're going to and bus.

The MC and the dancers were great.. after that everything else was .. poorly executed. The food was pretty bland, a very white washed version of Hawaiian food. The way they bring people into the luau was chaos. The seating is so close I could smell the breath of the neighboring tables. I could not see any portion of the show and had to stand in the back in order to see what I did. Many people at tables ahead of mine standing because they couldn't see either. If you are not willing to pay of the celebrity package you are wasting your time and money. Other luaus have more dances, dancers and island paid tribute too. There are much better luaus on the island. Go somewhere else.

In port on Nov 4, 2024 for 1 day on the Viking Neptune. Did a morning excursion, we had pre-booked this luau through Travel Shack. It was an easy 15-minute walk from ship to venue. About 14 of us went together. We met online via Cruise Critic but booked the luau independently under a single name and were seated together right down front in the VIP section, highly recommended. Food was almost as good as on the Viking, the show, very entertaining paying tribute to dances of Hawaiian & Polynesian forefathers. Enjoyed singing & instrumentals before & during dancing performances. The narrations were informative and entertaining, just the right touch of humor. A wide variety of dancing with the opportunity of some audience participation. We were presented with solo, male and female performances as well as both combined. The highlight near the end of the evening included dancing with fire torches. My observation was that everyone thoroughly enjoyed the evening in spite of a hint of a light sprinkling from the rain clouds above. We didn't need a light rain poncho, but recommend you take one if rain is in the forecast for the day you attend.

The luau was fabulous! Trip advisor on the other hand is a joke. We paid $700 for a family of four for luau tickets that included transportation only to find out the day before, there were no more seats available on the bus to the luau and had to drive ourselves. Trip advisor never contacted us to tell us that or to offer a refund. I had to find out on my own when I contacted Ka Moana to check on pick up/location time. Trying to speak to someone at trip advisor to get a refund for our transportation is like pulling teeth.

Excellent Luau! This was the 4th one I've been to. We have been to Paradise Cove, Polynesian Cultural Center, and I forget the other one and this one. I was a little nervous about it being in Sea Life Park, however, it was super easy to find and an easy 45 minute drive from our Waikiki hotel. We got there early (it's our nature) and no one was anywhere to be seen - not even at the parking booth. We parked and then "wandered" near the ticket gate but there was not a soul in sight, except for 3 or 4 other couples doing the same thing we were......This eventually was the right spot and they did start charging $10 for parking around 440pm. We walked up to the booth and told them we already parked (we're honest like that especially appreciative of the Hawaiian people and the hardships Covid has caused) but the booth attendant told us - if you got here before me, NO CHARGE!

We entered the waiting area and then were escorted down to the luau seats. We had front row at the VIP table and it was an amazing experience.

Photos turned out beautiful and once inside you did not know you were in an adventure park anymore.

The food we thought was excellent especially compared to others we've been to. We tried a little bit of everything with NO complaints. The drinks were also excellent and we got a welcome Mai Tain along with 2 free drinks with our VIP package per person.

The show was also very good and we really enjoyed it. All of the dancers and singers were top notch including Cousin Jerry and Cousin Manna!!! We had a great time, we were there about 4 hours and it went by too fast we had that great of a time!! The fire dancers were also excellent. Other than lack of signage for "where" to go for checkin for Luau when you are early like us, I have nothing negative to say, this one was GREAT!!
