Grand Canyon Ultimate Tour
From USD 149.00
Overview
Explore the Grand Canyon South Rim on this day trip from Flagstaff, a great choice for nature lovers and first-time visitors. With this tour, save time searching for parking or waiting at the visitor center’s long lines, and hike part of the Rim Trail. This leaves enough time to head out to Navajo country for lunch and stop at a few of your guide’s hand-picked lookout points.
What to Expect
Your morning starts with pickup from your Williams, Flagstaff, or Grand Canyon/Tusayan area hotel in an air-conditioned coach. After the drive to Grand Canyon National Park’s South Rim, stop at Yavapai Point for your first views of the canyon.

Skip the lines at the visitor center and the crowds trying to get into the parking lots, and walk a bit of the Rim Trail with your guide. From here, you’ll be able to get a real sense of the depth of the canyon and see its rock layers up close.

Learn about the Grand Canyon’s geologic history and keep an eye out for deer, elk, bighorn sheep, or a California condor, the most endangered bird of prey in the world. Next head out to Navajo country and order lunch off the menu at a local restaurant.

Drive back along the South Rim, stopping at a few lookout points, and then end your tour with hotel drop-off in Williams, Flagstaff, or Grand Canyon/Tusayan.

I had done some hiking in the Grand Canyon 20+ years ago, and have dreamed of returning. This trip was part of a birthday celebration for my husband, who had never been to Arizona. Part of the joy was watching his reaction; the awe and...More

We did not hike down into the canyon. We moved from on great view location to another and did some walking at the sites. Not a lot of drive time as we were staying only 7 miles from the canyon. The longest drive was to the... More

At your hotel, as long as you are in one of those locations. We were In Tusayan, closest to the GC, and were picked up last. The folks whose hotels were in Flagstaff were picked up first, at their hotels.
