Itinerary

Your Atlanta food walking tour meets at Paschal's Restaurant on Northside Drive. Once you link up with your guide and small group, you’ll explore the culinary history and culture of Georgia’s state capital.

This tour, which covers about two miles on foot in roughly 3.5 hours, stops at seven local eateries. Try a range of Southern fare, including soul food, barbecue, Lowcountry, and Creole dishes. Stops may include Smoke Ring, Just Add Honey Tea Company, and Miss D's Pralines. You can also sample an alcoholic beverage.

It’s not just about food. Your guide connects Southern food to the city’s rich history. Learn about the role the city’s restaurants played in the Civil Rights Movement, among other historical tidbits.

Your tour ends at Sweet Auburn Curb Market.

Please note: If you have any special dietary requirements, add a note in the Special Requirements field when booking.

Come hungry, stay for the history.

10/10 would recommend! The food starts heavy then tapers off, you don't leave too stuffed so if you are looking for a hearty meal ask for seconds when you are loving a dish, I would recommend extra of the fried chicken (there's an additional charge...More
