He was very interactive, and we had a lot of fun learning about the city The food was great, and I would love to do this again with the same tour guide.Written 2 December 2024
- hartbranch0 contributionsFood Tours AtlantaDress comfortably, get ready to sample different cuisines and hope that you have Janice as your Tour Guide. She was so full of knowledge about the history of the Inman Park area of Atlanta. Well worth the 3-hour tour. The tour follows Atlanta's Beltline with periodic stops for sampling at popular restaurants along the way, all the while learning the history of the Beltline and its coming into existence.Written 24 November 2024
- 404suzannek0 contributionsGreat guide! Our guide Seanna was the reason for my stars! She was personable, knowledgeable, accommodating and seems to truly love what she did! The tour itself was not as it was described by Get your Guide, but Seanna still gave us an amazing experience and we learned so much history. If you are into craft cocktails and learning about history, this is the tour for you!Written 18 November 2024
- Roger W0 contributionsWonderful Day of Food and Art on the Atlanta BetlineHighly recommend this food, art and history tour. The food is very good and you get plenty to eat. Some of the bites are unique and fun. The introduction to the art on the Beltline abd the Beltline itself was very interesting. The tour also included a visit to the historic Inman Park Neighborhood. The guide, Michael, was very informative and engaging. Take this tour if you are interested in learning about Atlanta (both old and new) and having some fun bites along the way.Written 15 November 2024

Not only was Michael a lot of fun, he was also super knowledgeable about the area, and all of the food. I absolutely loved this tour! Our tour guide Michael enthusiastic, knowledgeable and was so interested in answering our curiosity questions. He clearly enjoys his job and loves sharing what he knows about the area, the foods, selected restaurants and the neighborhood. The foods were a nice variety and quite frankly, I was full (the walk through Inman Park was so timely!) We had ample opportunity to eat, sit and chat with our tour mates. I always make it a point to do a food walking tour in each city I visit, and this is one I HIGHLY recommend. I hope your tour guide is Michael!

It was a lovely experience. Michael was charming and did an excellent job of managing a larger-than-normal group. He started the event by handing us cool water bottles. Michael made sure everyone got seats at each location, handing out our food with lots of information on the proprietor as well as the specific dish. Our walk along the Beltline included plenty of local history and information about each artist (as we pondered each artistic installation.) During the walk around Inman Park neighborhood, we were treated with the history of specific houses and commentary on the architecture. The walk was a comfortable pace and a low-key way for us to sample the local food, history, art, and architecture. Thank you!

This tour was fantastic and our guide made it even better. Michael is very knowledgeable of the Atlanta Beltline and surrounding areas. We learned so many interesting things that we were unaware of and we’ve lived in Georgia for over twenty years. We were expecting a small bite at each tasting. We had much more than a bite and 6 tastings from different restaurants. We explored street art with meaning as our guide told us about the artists. The tour is well planned and organized. The 3 hours flew by, and we were able to go back and shop at all the cute boutiques. Taking this guided walk with friends or family is a perfect way to experience food, street art & history on the Atlanta Beltline!

This was a good tour. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and kept us very entertained as well. The only suggestion I have is to change the last stop to a restaurant that is vegetarian/ vegan friendly. A salad in a small disposable bowl with a sub par ginger ale mocktail was not worth the &99

Micheal was a wonderful guide. He kept us entertained with great historical facts about the area as well as current news and funny stories. The food was all amazing! I love how they support local restaurant owners and have a variety of foods and flavor. We also got a lot of steps in! We were lucky to be walking and eating on a beautiful spring day as well. Thanks for the great experience, Micheal!

Wonderful experience!!! It turned out to be just my husband and I so we got a more personalized experience. Our guide was very personable and knowledgeable and the food was excellent. When one of the restaurants had an unexpected pipe burst, a substitute restaurant was found quickly to make sure we weren’t cheated. I would highly recommend this tour!!

This tour was great. It started off at Krog market and we got introduced to a couple of wonderful, delightful food items, then we were able to go to the beltline, get some history and information and stop there and get another large sized food item then we went from there walking through the end Park area and being able to get educated on history and homes in architecture and art and we were able to stop in a neighborhood donut shop and then we went back to the beltline for a final top off of food and dessert. They did a great job, and we were delighted with the tour.

Michael was a terrific guide!! He is very knowledgeable and told us a lot about local street art, history, and about the neighborhoods where we visited. The food choices were excellent. I initially thought three hours seemed long but the time passed quickly. I loved seeing all the street art in addition to tasting the food. Also, walking along the Beltline was fun and super interesting. I totally recommend this tour.

What a full experience! I surprised my fiancé with this tour. He’s a lover of food and history. This tour was nothing short of that plus some. Micheal, our tour guide, was such a pleasure and a wealth of knowledge. Our tour was intimate which I preferred. After living in Atlanta for over 10 years I was excited to learn food tours were being offered because there are SO many new small residents all around the city. All restaurants were completely new to us and tasty! Everything was so good! We actually ended up taking food home because the portions were great. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I took the Inman Park food tour Easter Sunday, 2021. The tour started at the One Eared Stag where our guide provided the first tasting of the day - a doughnut filled with ham he brought with him. We started walking while we ate and got a nice tour of historic homes and sites along Edgewood Ave. Our tour guide Michael was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the Inman Park area and he did a great job explaining the history along the way.
After a leisurely tour of the neighborhood, we wound up at Albert's pub for a sampling of smoked/fried chicken wings, a cocktail, and boiled peanuts. We sat inside the restaurant for this stop, one of the few where we ventured inside to eat. After a short jaunt down the beltline, we stopped for a gelato. Next on the food parade was another doughnut (custard filled, chocolate covered). At the final stop at Krog Street Market we were treated to a tasty beef and veggie wrap and an apple turnover. After that, we made the easy walk back to our car about 1 mile away.
I was disappointed at the food provided. In general, the food was just average. These tours should be an opportunity for restaurants to show off their signature menu items, but what we got was clearly not a sampling of anyone's best efforts. I also felt the restaurants were not of the caliber I was expecting. The majority seemed to be sandwich and doughnut shops based on what we were served. Even the nicer restaurant on the tour (Beetle Cat) that could have provided an interesting sampling opted out with a doughnut. And, if anyone was counting, there were four sweet items on the tasting-about three too many.
Eating most of the food on the run took away from the experience. A separate food tour in Savannah we attended in February had tables set up and ready for the tour everywhere we went.
I don't want to discourage anyone from taking this tour since the sightseeing portion was a lot of fun-but if you are going for the food, you might be disappointed.

Myself & my guest would be attending the ATL Beltline tour. Our diets consist of vegan & seafood.
Would there be adequate choices of these meals?
Also is there a list of these restaurants prior to purchase so we can have the opportunity for the very best experience by preparing accordingly?
Thank you!

They will send you the specific instructions once you book, but for this tour we met inside a food market at a bakery stand. It was super easy to find and our guide was right there to greet us.
