Amazing experience with Vittorio, an extraordinary guide and human being. His knowledge, the amenity of the presentation, the insights and his humor made the excursions, (I made 3 but with more time woukd have done all) an unforgettable experience.

The beautiful side of a small island like Ustica is that you can find people like Vittorio, that is willing to share his deep knowledge of the island with anybody that drops at his office. We found ourselves booking a combo of a boat trip around the island and a gelogical excursion in the region around punta Cavazzi. Now, Vittorio is not a geologist, as he is not an astronomer or a historian or a naturalist, but he is able to involve with his enthusiasm and with his comedian skills any kind of audience into a tale that can link anything that has to do with the island, its history, its culture, its skies. So we found ourselves looking for magnetic rocks with a compass, eating tasty wild weeds, staring at glowing rocks in a cave, sitting across the Europe/African fault. We did also participate to the astronomical night, where, in front of a gorgeous sky with a very evident milky way, Vittorio read in the summer constellation thousands of years of history, culture and myths. As an astrophysicist, I can also assure that his tale was fair, maybe not perfect in all scientific details, but always engaging and honest.

We arrived in Ustica quite casually, without something specific planned and Vittorio's office was exactly on the same street of our apartment. We decided to enter to know more abour the activities in Ustica and we fell in Love! We decided to take advantage of the package of visit combining the tour of the caves via boat and the astronomical excursion organised by Vittorio. The simplicity, humility and knowledge of Vittorio made us feeling at home and the excursion during the night was fun and actually a learning experience. We learned so much in few hours that on our way home from the astronomical excursion we spent hours with my boyfriend talking and discussing about everything we jabe learned. If you are in Ustica, we strongly recommend to do at least one excursion! We cannot wait to be back to do all the others!!! Thank you Vittorio! This excursion will be in our memories for ever!

I travel all the time and constantly go on different tours. Vittorio was the best tour guide I have ever had. He made me and my friends fall in love with Ustica. He is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and passionate. We did the snorkeling tour of Cala Sidoti. It was an amazing experience. I highly recommend everyone to take a tour with him. I cannot wait to go back to Ustica and bring more friends and family to experience this island. He also introduced us to his father who cooked us a home cooked seafood pasta with fish he caught that day. Thank you again Vittorio!

Vittorio was an amazing guide. We visited many interesting places, saw a lot of different aspects of Ustica, and fell in love with the island. Vittorio was very knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about his island. I highly recommend all his tours! We attended all tours (snorkelling tour of Cala Sidoti, archeology tour, star gazing tour, etc.), and we can’t wait to go there again to discover more things about Ustica.
