Overview

Travel to the top of the Space Needle's 520 ft. observation deck for unparalleled views of downtown Seattle, Mt. Rainier, and the Puget Sound, plus hands-on digital experiences and FREE digital souvenir photos. If you see one thing in Seattle, see everything!

What to Expect

The Space Needle is a landmark of the Pacific Northwest and an icon of downtown Seattle. It was built in the Seattle Center for the 1962 World's Fair. Today, nearly 20,000 people ride its elevators every 24 hours. Now it’s your turn! Head to the admissions desk of the Space Needle to exchange this voucher for a timed ticket, then take a 41-second elevator ride to the top.

From 520 feet above the ground on the Observation Deck, the views are breathtaking. Check out the 360-degree panorama of Seattle and the surrounding area in all its glory — the beautiful downtown skyline; the distant Cascade and Olympic mountain ranges, including snow-capped Mt. Rainier; the busy waterfront from Lake Union to Puget Sound. Take pictures in every direction and get a closer look with one of the Swarovski telescopes.

At the top, be sure to visit Seattle’s largest iPad – the Sky Pad. Use the giant touch screen to enter where you are visiting from and see how many people have visited from your home town! Displays provide further information about the sights and sounds of Seattle. Hungry? The revolving Sky City restaurant has the solution — brunch, lunch or dinner with a view.

Nice View from the Top

Great place to visit. Nice view of the city from the top. It was a misty day when we visited. We still had a good time.

Needle visit

We were anxious to go here since the update. Disappointed that the restaurant was not open but otherwise it was a great time. Good views, great updates done.

Pricey but great views

This is a very popular attraction, suggest buying tickets early as the wait is usually at least an hour or more. The view is excellent and the glass floor is really special.
