Overview
Get a behind-the-scenes look at airplane design and manufacturing on a 4.5-hour Boeing factory tour that includes the Future of Flight Aviation Center, and round-trip transport from select downtown Seattle and airport hotels. Watch the factory floor and flight line from above, get a virtual tour of a 787 flight deck, then use a simulator to design and test your own airplane.
What to Expect
This tour begins with pickup from your selected hotel in Seattle or SeaTac; travel to Everett, the home of the Boeing factory, the largest building in the world by volume. Walk high above the factory floor to watch the assembly of Boeing’s wide-body airplanes, such as the 747, the 777, and the advanced 787 Dreamliner.

Get a look inside a full-sized 777 jet engine, take a virtual tour of the 787 flight deck, then see models and mockups of airplane interiors and fuselages. Learn the history of Boeing’s planes from 707 through 787 on a video presentation, and watch a 3-screen presentation of the 787 Dreamliner.

See airplanes at all stages of outfitting and painting—you may even see a Dreamlifter, the jumbo 747 cargo planes that are modified to transport Dreamliner parts from around the world. Visit the Future of Flight Aviation Center, and use a touch screen computer to design and test your own airplane. This tour concludes with return transfer to your pickup location.

Much closed, more walking than learning

The future of flight section was absolutely empty except for a few large plane parts and a video. Found that most of the tour was spent on transport around the field. Once inside the factory however, the guides were informative and friendly. Save money by...More

Fascinating Tour - a "Must See!"

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Boeing! We learned so much about aviation, Boeing, and airplane construction. We found it to be a busy place with many opportunities to watch the crews, even on a Saturday.

Terrible driver

Our driver drove so badly we felt sick - abrupt stops and then sudden acceleration all the way. He also spoke so fast we could not understand what he was saying. The tour of the Boeing factory with one of their employees was good but...More

Depends on Your Driver/Guide

I am stunned by these great reviews I'm reading. Our tour guide was so hard to understand -- he spoke very quickly and in a rambling manner. He may have had fascinating insight on our drive up, but I'll never know because I couldn't decipher...More

We appreciate your feedback and we will approach the guide in question about slowing his delivery and speaking in a clearer manner. We hope that the guide you had during the 90 minute tour at Boeing was easier to understand. Our desire is for all...More

WOW!

The Boeing factory is a really fun tour. We went with grandparents and kids, and all of us really enjoyed it. Just getting a sense of scale of the actual building was worth the trip to Everett. You will see actual planes at different stages...More

The tour includes being picked up and returned to your downtown Seattle hotel. Our tour guide also provided information and history along the drive to/from.

On the ride to Boeing on our bus we do not have more than 24 passengers. On the 90 minute factory tour at Boeing they cap the tour around 50 passengers.
