Mountain splendor and living history
Sep. 2019
This tour was well worth the money. Our guide, Brian, regaled us with fascinating historical, personal and local information and stories. The drive around the town and up the historic mountain pass was more flexible and offered more photographic moments than the more expensive train ride. The weather was rainy and foggy, but the experience was still the highlight of our trip.

Excellent Tour Guide / Driver
Sep. 2019
Our tour guide Bryan was awesome. He was knowledgeable and entertaining. Unfortunately, the weather was very foggy and rainy so our view and photo opportunities were limited. Still a great tour.

If you want to see all there is to see in Skagway and save money, this tour is the one to get. Make sure you get Bryan. He is funny and knowledgeable. You get more things done and see more on this trip relative to the train and you save money. Sign up for this tour. You won't regret it.

Tour was outstanding; Bryan was simply unbelievable
Sep. 2019
This tour was very enjoyable. Bryan Terrell, the mini-bus driver with the sweet mullet, was an outstanding tour guide. As we left Skagway, Bryan was a world of information. And his sense of humor was very enjoyable. Everyone on the bus felt at ease. In comparison to other methods to reach the summit of White Pass, I strongly taking the smaller buses (vs a motor coach). We were able to get to many roadside stops well before the coaches arrived thus eliminating the crowds waiting for their photo opportunities. Bryan's, a long time tour guide, insights at these stops (and the history and times of Skagway) was invaluable.

Nice views of the White Pass via road
Sep. 2019
The guide was interesting and we made several stops along the way to take pictures. The bus goes up to White Pass and slightly across the border into Canada, so you need to have your passport along. We got a view of the train across the valley. The train later had a problem so the rest of the trains that day were cancelled.

With good weather, it was a pretty drive and interesting to go up to the timberline. With bad weather, it might not be worthwhile.

The driver gave a good suggestion of hiking around Lower Dewey Lake.

Skagway bus tour
Aug. 2019
We thoroughly enjoyed our bus tour up to the summit and back. Bryan was our driver and he was very personable and informative plus he gave us multiple opportunities to take pictures. I recommend this tour. It was a good value for the price we are glad we took this instead of the very expensive train ride. I have to admit we had wonderful weather which also helped.

Alaskan Majestic Lands!
Sep. 2019
This is a must see for older children and adults! There are stops along the way up to the Summit over steep cliffs and very fast moving traffic. Almost lost a 5-6 year old who darted across the highway. The ice glaciers of nature are amazing along with the natural spring waterfall and the green/aqua water!!

Skagway Tour
Aug. 2019
I tried to book the White Pass Railroad excursion, was wait listed and decided to try something on my own.

Could not be happier. Comfortable bus, wonderful driver/guide (Peggy) and lots to see that would probably have been obscured by the trees along the rail line.
