    What to Expect
This excursion is offered as a morning 4-hour adventure and as condensed express 2.5-hour afternoon adventure, as well as ride-along options without snorkeling. Go out in the super safe Willard Navy Seals boats to swim in the area known for wild spinner dolphins. Experience their energy and curiosity towards humans. Following, you will enjoy a quiet and relaxing snorkel in the Kealakekua reserve, often called the best snorkeling spot in all Hawaii, and only accessible by boat (or a very long hike). In season, we will also look for other natural sea creatures such as whales and sea turtles.

Because this local operator limits their customers to six per boat, they have plenty of room, plenty of individual attention, and plenty of time to ensure that they can get to everything and still have time to relax. These tours have something for the entire family, and guaranteed to leave you longing to come back!

8 am 100% 1st Aid/CPR Trained Crew with Certified Safety Professionals will provide detailed safety instructions. (afternoon tour briefing 12:15 pm)

8:15 am Depart Keauhou Harbor, headed north in search of Hawaii's famous spinner dolphins. (afternoon tour departs 12:30 pm)

    Swim with Dolphins:

8:30 am - 10 am Once we find a pod of friendly dolphins, we take a very cautious and respectful approach. If they feel bothered, they can be gone in a flash! Dolphins are very curious and may swim over to look at us. They are particularly drawn towards children.

    Explore the Coast

10 am Head south along the Kona Coast to explore sea caves en route to Kealakekua Bay. The Captain or guide will point out interesting facts about the unique coastline of Hawaii. Waves permitting, you might be able to enter a grotto...

    Kealakekua Bay

10:45 am Enjoy snorkeling in what is usually considered the BEST snorkel spot in all of Hawaii. Calm water...fish everywhere...crystal clear water.

    Snack Time

11:15 am Re-board boat, enjoy fresh fruit platter and snacks while learning some Hawaiian history and culture.

    Depart Kealakekua Bay

11:35 am Head back north to Keauhou Harbor

    Arrive at Harbor

12 pm Tour ends (afternoon tour ends 3:00 pm)

The boat captain was awesome. She was very knowledgeable. If you are looking for a small intimate tour, this is great tour. Local history, respectful of the dolphins, great snorkeling experience.

Capt Brian enthusiasticly shared history of the area as we went along, provided us with many dolphin swim drops, and the small group (4) allowed us quick drops in and out of the water.

We took our 8 year old to swim with the dolphins and it was magical. Captain Bambi was informative and patient and we felt comfortable. We loved it so much we came back in the evening for the manta rays swim. Both were wonderful experiences. Thanks also to our evening dive

After two weeks enjoying many of this beautiful Island's best snorkel beaches my wife and I topped off our trip with an excellent outing with Captain Bambi to swim with dolphins and snorkel at the amazing Kealakekua Bay. Bambi seemed to have a relationship with the dolphins
