Fun haunted pub crawl in NOLA
So much fun! Carolyn shared the best ghost stories and made sure we all had a great time. It was cool to be shown some of the best bars too as a first timer to New Orleans.

      Just Geoff!
Geoff was a fantastic guide. He shut down the drunken hecklers cleverly but without being rude. He was very knowledgeable, personable, and perfectly unapologetic. Definitely asking for him again the next time I take this tour!

      Wes is the Best
I had previously done the haunted pub crawl and it was such a good experience that when my friends and I were looking for something to do in New Orleans I recommended it even though I expected to know the stops and gist of the stories. Who wouldn't want a guided tour of the French Quarter?! To my surprise there were new stops and stories I didn't hear the first time around. Our guide, Wesley, was a great story teller and handled the group wonderfully. I'll definitely be sending people his way. I really love that no tours are the same. Thank you, Wesley, for making our night!

      A unique and fun experience
We booked this excursion somewhat last minute after being disappointed with the previous nights ghost tour. Our tour guide Jeff, was informative and the walking through an actual New Orleans cemetery on a cold winters night was awesome. We were given EMF readers at the hurricane Katrina memorial which actually went off when we were at the memorial for the 150,000 lost souls who lost their lives during the Yellow Fever pandemic in the late 1800’s. The bus that we took to these different cemeteries was awesome and finding the meeting place for pickup was easy and warm. Highly recommend taking this tour for an awesome, informative experience!

      Great Night Out!!
This was a wonderful and entertaining tour. After looking at all the other available options & reviews, I'm so glad we booked this one. Our guide, Jeff, was very knowledgeable about the area and quite passionate about his work. His stories were so interesting and the time seemed to fly by. I would highly recommend the New Orleans Cemetery Bus Tour After Dark.

Geoff and Cory were awesome guides on our cemetery bus tour. Entering the cemetery after darks makes for a perfect New Orleans adventure. Highly recommend for believers and nonbelievers of the unexplained.

The best of the three taken
Orion is a natural storyteller, very knowledgeable and engaging. I had taken 2 other tours with him this trip (both were also 5☆), but I enjoyed this one the best. It had the perfect balance of historical accuracy and ghostly creep factor.

      Spooktacular experience!
This was an amazing tour for anyone interested in paranormal or historical aspects of New Orleans cemeteries. Our tour guide, Geoff, was extremely knowledgeable and has the perfect dark humor for the tour. We had a great time. P. S. TAKE LOTS OF PICTURES!! …You’ll see why…

Voodoo, Witches, Ghosts, Murder, Pirates, Vampire Tour - Orion Couling Was Great!
My friend and I took this tour with Orion Couling. We were not sure which day we wanted to book a tour because the weather was cold and rainy during our 4 day stay in NOLA. We woke up Saturday to a no rain forecast and were hoping for a tour that evening. I reached out to Orion and he was able to accommodate us for a tour that evening. I received very clear and complete info on the tour and where to meet up. Orion was prompt at the meet up spot and after a short orientation, off we went. We were not sure what to expect because we had not been on this type of tour before. Orion was a great tour guide and was very knowledgeable on the folklore of the quarter. He kept up a good pace and even asked everyone if they were good with the speed. It was a very chilly night and he made sure everyone knew to bundle up. We went by a lot of spooky spots and got information that we had never heard before. At Muriel’s he showed us the table set for Pierre Antoine Lepardi Jourdan and wove a fascinating story about his ghost. We went to Muriel’s for Jazz Brunch the next morning and thanks to his story we knew to ask about it. They gave us a private tour of the séance room which was awesome. He kept up a great tour and made sure we all stayed together. We both really enjoyed ourselves and would recommend Orion Couling without hesitation. We plan on returning to the Quarter in April and will definitely be looking at some of his other tours.

We had an awesome experience with our tour guide, Candy. We loved her off the bat when she told us she’s from Wisconsin. She was very knowledgeable and had great story telling throughout the tour. My 8 and 15 year old were both tuned in and paying attention, which says a lot. It was just the right length of time and walking for the money and I learned a lot I didn’t know about NOLA.

My tour guide as Karen (the lady with red hair)and she was excellent.
The place we visited with her had scary stories but karen with a lot of knowledge informed us about everything that had already happened in those places.
    very nice tour.

Wife and I had the opportunity to join Orion (tour guide) and a group of five other individuals for a 5:00pm to 6:45pm Ghost Tour of New Orleans. From the outset the tour instructions were clear for arrival, Orion followed up with personalized additional details, making initial meetup easy! Kickoff location is cool, and has drinks available should you desire. Clear instruction continued as Orion reviewed the expectations of the tour behavior and cadence, introducing the product as a performance which was exactly what it was meant to be in our minds! Well Orion did a great job of capturing factual New Orleans lore with personalized flair and an air of mystery! All we could say was bravo! And people…don’t forget to always drop a dollar in the hat of any performer you may pass on the street!

I convinced others in our group to sign up for this tour based on good reviews on trip advisor, so I want to make sure others know our experience before booking a tour. We arrived at 7:45 for the 8:00 tour. There were more people than I expected in the same tour, but the more the merrier. First stop was across the street at Jackson Square. Our guide said he was a teacher during the day, guide at night, and to call him "Bubba" or "Bubby" (hard to hear him). He relayed some interesting info about the location, and we walked to the next area closer to the church. From there, he walked at a super fast pace to every other location. People in the group kept telling him that he needed to slow down. One woman was limping. Others were visibly hurting. Still, he would speed walk to places. When we would see other groups surrounding a location, I assumed we would be stopping. Nope. We marched passed them at lightning speed. We did stop at a few interesting places that I wanted to hear about. The tour that was supposed to last from 8:00-9:45 was over by 9:00. I am not sure that was due to our running between attractions, or because we possibly skipped locations. There was an audible sigh amongst many of the people who felt cheated. I was so embarrassed that I recommended this tour after reading reviews because everybody in our group hated it. Perhaps others have a better experience with a different guide? I saw the potential but was disappointed in execution.

The bus was nice and the guide was charismatic but the content was not what we expected. I feel like we should’ve known we can’t get into the cemeteries at night, and the content was much more vague history than spooky. The guide kept saying he would answer any questions or tell stories that we picked, that we could guide the tour, but when we asked for haunted stories he said he doesn’t tell ghost stories. It also said we get to use EMF readers and we did not.

I liked our guide a lot. I think her name was Karen, she had red hair, raised in the French Quarter, and her education was in history. I loved that our guide was a local. We went on another tour the night before with another company. Our guide was relatively new to the area and I felt he was just rattling off information and couldn’t wait to finish the tour. With this tour, I never felt Karen was rushed. She provided a lot of historical background and threw in enough ghost stories to keep things a little creepy. I sensed some people wanted more ghostly stories but I actually enjoyed the historical background. This was the last of our 3 ghost tours during our vacation and I’m happy it ended on a high note. It was also cool how our guide somehow had access to a charming hotel courtyard and we were able to sit around her as she told us some stories. My teen son had a good time and mentioned this was probably his favorite tour of the trip.

We did the Classic Ghost Tour during our trip to New Orleans. We booked this tour specifically to have the opportunity to listen to Orion Couling.

We absolutely loved our tour. We have both done a *lot* of walking tours in different countries and it was hands down the best we’ve each experienced.

We were entertained the entire time and Orion is an incredible orator. He knows his history, his stories, and the city and it was mesmerizing. Additionally, the respectful atmosphere he establishes for the people in the tour and the members of the community is beautiful and welcoming.

You will not regret this experience but you will regret missing out.

Unfortunately my group of 9 had a very unpleasant experience. Our guide apparently was called in to work at the last moment and was not prepared to work. He was a nice man but had way too much to drink before and during our tour. Everyone in my group including the 6 other people felt it was a waste. We all thought about leaving and joining another group. It’s a shame.

We had a ghost tour with tour guide Coby who was very interesting, knowledgeable, patient with questions and knew how to tell a great story! He even shared some photos from his experiences and a lot of local insight. Some of the areas were really creepy and I had a couple of interesting experiences. I also really enjoyed the vampire lore.

We did our tour with Sean B and he did a great job keeping us all entertained, informed and on schedule. We were able to visit 2 cemeteries (one with a Katrina Memorial), a former Church and the largest house in NOLA. The tour was full of information about how burials are handled in New Orleans and as well as some haunted stories to go with it. In terms of the 'spooky' level, it was great. You are after all, in the dark, in a cemetery in the most haunted city in the world! It was a great way to spend an evening and Sean was terrific.
