We opted for the cruise with dinner and selected the 11am sitting. This allowed us to eat before we had set off so we could spend the trip on deck drinking cocktails while we sailed down the river. This is a great relaxing experience and if you have time it’s worth doing - takes about 2.5 hrs in total when you take into account boarding etc

Well to be totally honest this was not by any means my first choice. But so glad we did it!! This was so nice and relaxing learned lots of information and well let me tell you about our lunch. It was honestly an AMAZING lunch. My husband a chef at a fine dining establishment realized how awesome New Orleans food really was. The catfish was fried to perfection the potato salad as he described it was phenomenal, the corn bread his favorite by far spectacular. Really this was a GREAT TOUR. We had such a good time with so much knowledge we got off the boat and purchased another tour this time a City tour. PS picture taken did not make the lunch any justice sorry.

Pleasant cruise but the jazz was only 30/40 mins, the rest was narrative - interesting but perhaps the band could have been on longer

Took a two hour tour along the Mississippi river on the Natchez Steam Ship whilst in New Orleans & loved it. There host supplied a very informative narration as we strolled along the river, pointing out points of interest, history and local facts. I found it very relaxing and totally enjoyed listening to the Jazz band play as we meandered our way along the river. I went to the 11;30am tour which wasn't too crowded. Totally enjoyed my time. Highly Recommended.

Excellent cruise. Liked the narration of the history along the Mississippi. Service wa great! The food was ok. Advertise as abrunch but was mostly breakfast food. Jazz band was great!

Tripvisor booked my Jazz cruise for Oct 1st and sent me tickets for the 29th which was the right date but booked wrong with the cruise line.

We took the Sunday Jazz Brunch Cruise (did not select the brunch option) but had a great time. Good narration (if a little overdone) and the live band was pretty good. The highlight for me and my group was touring the engine room and speaking with the staff about the history of the steam engines and their function. The weather was perfect and the sailing smooth.

A 50 year steamboat with authentic 100 year old steam engines. Relaxing tour and brief history on the Mississippi River. Access to the engine room to see the historic steam engines in action.

The New Orleans Steamboat Natchez tour was really great! We didn't do the lunch option just enjoyed the ride with some drinks from the bar (which were very good!). We had a great time and will def do it again :)

It was a great experience!!!! There was a little bit of everything in relation to New Orleans from listening to a jazz band, eating the southern food, seeing the traditional boat and how it works to hearing history of the Mississippi River. We highly recommend it!!

We were very disappointed with the pre booked lunch arrangement. We'd booked second sitting but were told there was only one booking at 11am when we boarded and were told to go to the dining room. We didn't feel like eating as we'd not.long eaten. We left the dining room and investigated other areas of the boat and sat in outside seating. When we returned to the dining room just over an hour later people were still being served food so we could have eaten later. We feel we were misinformed. The band were very good and the commentary along the river. It was very interesting to see the engine room and various different areas. We were also not aware that you could purchase snacks on board.

The atmosphere was amazing! The Staff was so professional and nice!! The food and music were phenomenal!!! I’m planning to make another trip..but with family so they will have the opportunity to experience the fun!!

Don’t waste your time or money on the city tour and steamboat. Steamboat was OK! The city tour was a waste of time, we didn’t learn much about anything other then the person stories of the guide - none which were NOLO related.

Pleasant way to spend an afternoon. Would recommend for a couple of hours just chilling watching the world go by. Very informative

Absolutely amazing! The tour itself was very educational too which we found really good, especially as we visited from the UK. The food was top notch! The staff were really helpful and polite. The Mississippi was really beautiful.
