Took a tour with Jabar (sorry if spelled incorrectly). He clearly knows Philadelphia’s history and is enthusiastic about his job. You don’t get into any sites (mostly standing outside buildings), but it is a good way to learn a bit about Philadelphia history and get in a good walk. Overall, well worth it

Philly Ghosts by Candlelight
Jul. 2021
Bea was our tour guide. She did a great job intertwining history with paranormal activities at selected sites. If hot and it was, I would bring a small, insulated lunch bag with ice/ice pack, water, and maybe a damp wash cloth, which I wish I had done.

History told through ghost stories
May 2021
Steven did a great job. He was interactive and engaging. He was respectful of our time and went at a pace that we were comfortable with. He knew all the historical facts about the area and I actually learned several things I didn't know. He also shared the ghost stories woven into history and the area of Philadelphia which was entertaining. He hasn't been doing this very long so his presentation was perfect, but he knew his facts. We were so glad we did this the first night we arrived because the next day as we walked through the tourist/historical spots we recalled what we learned from him which enhanced our day. I definitely recommend this tour.

Nice thing to do
Mar. 2021 • Family
We had Steve as our tour guide. This tour was around 90 minutes. This was a history tour with a ghost element. I would recommend this for families with older kids. It started at around 8. I would totally recommend this.

Jabar was fantastic
This was really such a great tour. My older son loves ghost stories and he liked the spooky tales of Philadelphia. I think though my husband and I enjoyed it even more than him. Jabar was really the main attraction with his way of story telling. It made the whole experience. We had such a great time.

Spooky paranormal tour
Mar. 2020
My boyfriend and I live in Philadelphia, and we joined this walking tour with guide Sarah during a stay-cation in the area (after our international plans were foiled by COVID-19). We had both done ghost tours in the past and enjoyed them. This was a really fun and spooky tour, and we had a good time! I was personally a little disappointed that it focused a lot on the paranormal, and not on more historical ghost stories/creepy stories. But it was all-in-all a very fun evening! I would recommend if you have a free night and the weather is good.

Interesting candlelight event
Nov. 2019
Thank you, Laurel, for your time.

More than I expected but expected other spots but happy with the different areas that were visited.

The stories were good and some things I did not know off.
Did not see any ghostly apparitions but the mind did wander...

The tour was quite popular tonight with about 6 different tour guides.

Have time, take this tour.
