      Yum yum!
My partner and I had a great time doing the tour with Braeden. Loved all the stops, especially the pastrami sandwich and the bagels! Braeden was easygoing yet knowledgable and answered all of our questions and more! Would definitely recommend.

      Food tour!
Really cool tour! I really liked the pastrami sandwich and the little candy shop we went to! Only about half a mile of walking and we had plenty of time inside every location.

Great experience but not quite worth the money!!
My friends and I recently took this food tour and we greatly enjoyed it. Maya was our guide and she was excellent. She was knowledgeable about NY (Chinatown & Little Italy), friendly and very personable. The food we experienced was delicious and we so enjoyed it. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the tour was $85 and as we were told, the food we tasted was less than $10 per person. This means we paid $75 per person for the tour guide services. That's a little steep in my opinion. Not as much bang for your buck, especially once you've tipped your guide.

Great experience with Gangsters and Ghosts
My wife and I did the Gangsters and Ghost tour with Rose. She was a wonderful guide. The information was presented in a fun and engaging manner. It was really interesting to be standing in the places where so much of this happened. I highly recommend it.

Best way to see New York City!
This tour was fantastic and exceeded my family's expectations. The guide was knowledgeable and fun and did a great job getting us around what can otherwise be a very confusing city. We had limited time and were able to pack a lot into this half day tour. Our favorite part was the ferry ride and seeing the Statue of Liberty. If you are only in the city for a short time, this is a great way to get a lot of bang for you buck. My tip would be to do it the first day of your trip so you can know where you may want to spend time in the rest of your trip.

      Seeing the Sights!
This was an amazing experience. We saw so much of the city. Stefan was informative and funny. A highlight was beautiful Central Park and, unexpectedly, taking the ferry—I truly felt like a New Yorker.

      Great food and very informative
We had a great time on our tour with Tom! We ate delicious food at all 4 places! Tom gave us a lot of great history of pivotal times in both Chinatown and Little Italy’s history. I would recommend this tour for anyone looking to get a sneak peak into the food scene and neighborhoods history!

The walking tour with Tom of Little Italy and China Town was filled with information you’d never get were you walking around on your own. The restaurant locations were off the beaten path and allowed us to sample a variety of foods. The tour was interactive and we learned about the history of the dumpling as well as the pizza and ate delicious mango pastries at Spongies, a slice of margarita pizza at Nolita pizza and the cannoli at Ferrera, all excellent. Highly recommend this tasty tour.

The ChinaTownLittle Italy food tour was great we had a family touring with us and they were very friendly and we all shared our experiences during our tour from finding out that their family owned a restaurant in Chinatown also it wasn’t on our tour, the foods we tasted were good , the only one I couldn’t get into was the dumplings I don’t eat pork and I have a problem with texture in foods don’t like soft mushy dough , the pizza was my favorite it was thin crusted and so very flaky simply delicious. Our guide was very nice and very informative about everything we ate and gave us history on Chinatown and Little Italy that was new to us. I highly recommend this food tour.

Worst experience ever! Please don't do this food tour. It's a joke and a setup to take your money. Please note refunds have a 100% fee but to cancel. No exceptions.

The food tour Chinatown / Little Italy experience:

First of all, it was a cold day in New York City and was 28°. No big deal, however, it is a big deal when they set up groups of 15 people to go into the tiniest little places ever... Plus they have other customers there besides your tour...plus, they have other tours also scheduled right in front of you. So you just stand around and wait, and wait.

First stop was this little place that there was not even enough room for everyone to sit down. They gave you this tiny shot size plastic cup with some kind of tea in it, and a cake muffin.

Next stop, a Chinese food place known for their dumplings. IT WAS PACKED. Standing room only and even that standing room left you about 2 feet from the person next to you. Our tourist said that the other tours were behind so they were still in there, plus, the restaurant had their other customers. So your guide said let's stand outside I'll just talk some more. What? It is 28°! Honestly, no matter what the weather is outside I came for a food tour and this is so disappointing, and honestly, I think the best one word adjective to describe this entire tour, is "ghetto".

My boyfriend and I said this is ridiculous and the tour guide lied and said we can reschedule or ask for a refund. That's so not true. I tried. Thank God my credit card company backed me up and they are investigating and fighting the charge I paid for this joke of a food tour.

    Don't do it.

The tour guide, William, was nice, energetic and knowledgeable. However, since this was a food tour, one would expect to experience unique food in NYC. The food that we tasted were cheap and nothing special. The potstickers were meh and the pizza was oily and limp. The rest of the food were 2 desserts (cake & canoli) which made the entire tour carb heavy and very unhealthy. For $80 per person, one would expect to taste something better in such a dynamic city as NY ( I had a much better experience in the food tour in Chicago experiencing food unique to Chicago). Disappointed.

The experience was lack luster at best. Our guide was Brandon and while knowledgeable about the area it seemed very much like a college student taking us around to his favorite eats and charging us for it. We didn’t have seats at any of the restaurants and either had to stand or sit at the park. The pizza place he took us too was awful and the pizza cut up our mouths. The dumplings were ok, but the portion sizes for everything was so small. I didn’t expect for 79 dollars to have 1 crunchy piece of pizza, a mini cannoli the size of a chapstick, 3 small oily dumplings and one banana sponge cake. To say I was not impressed is an understatement. We also had the unfortunate timing to go during an Italian street fair so little Italy was teeming with people. We couldn’t even walk and got separated from the group/lost multiple times.

Also heads up you will not have the ability to stop and look at shops. I thought this would be part of the experience but I was wrong which added to the disappointment.

I can not recommend this tour at all. Save your time and money.

This tour was disappointing. China Town and Little Italy are really too crowded for a tour group of 13 people. The places that we stopped in to eat were very small and people in our group had to stand. Two of the four places were cake and dessert.

I have been on multiple food tours in NYC and sad to say this was the least comprehensive or best deal. You hit four places only which I added up, totaled to around $12/person for the food purchased. The tour also had minimal history or food facts. I felt sorry for the other tourists on the tour thinking this was all they were getting for $80. I’ve done NYC food tours with Foods of NY Tours and Secret Food Tours and both were much better experiences. Skip this one and book with those instead.

The Foodie tour was great and very informative. I learned a lot about NY City and foodie history and how it came about. Our tour guide, Tom, was awesome and had a wealth of knowledge. He is interesting and kept us all engaged. Highly recommend this tour if you want to know some great Italian and Chinese places in the city to eat

Our guide Tom shared not only history of the area, but also played music on an instrument I have never seen; it was wonderful! We could watch the pork dumplings bring made and they were the best! Later we enjoyed mini cannoli’s after incredible pizza from Nolita Pizza (Nolita= north of Little Italy). Book this tour!! (We then walked to the 9/11 Memorial and onto Battery Park to view the Statue of Liberty.) The Uber driver took us back to our hotel, driving along the East River and we saw the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges!)
