Architecture tour
Jul. 2021 • Friends
I was blown away with how wonderful this was! I was sure I could enjoy the architecture just walking around in my own. I’m so glad I didn’t. Our guide Katherine was absolutely incredible. She went above and beyond answering all our questions. She was extremely knowledgeable about the history of nyc. I couldn’t recommend her tours more.

Katherine provided a great, comprehensive tour
Jan. 2021
Our tour guide, Katherine, was wonderful and shared not only a historical overview of the construction of buildings on the tour, but also the sentiment during the period. Especially for someone like me from a different generation, getting a better sense of the mood during those times was helpful. I also appreciated this tour since my guest and I were able to ask more detailed questions that Katherine was interested in answering :)! Always a plus. My guest and I would gladly do another tour with Katherine in the future. We recommend that both New Yorkers and visitors check out tours with Katherine!

Mid Manhattan historical buildings
Katherine gave us a super good tour which exceeded our expectations. She does her home work on the history , is a great tour guide , and a joy to walk around the city with. Providing a fun and dramatic “backstory” to the history of these buildings helps the culture of the various time periods unfold. I would love to go on other tours with Katherine and would highly recommend this tour to all categories of tourist whether you have a keen interest in preservation or just NYC. This is well spent time on a great tour!

We did not want our Architectural Tour to end!
Jan. 2020
Katherine was an awesome tour guide. She was interesting, well prepared and guided us through some amazing buildings and architecture. She personalized the tour and provided us with excellent visuals and really fun facts. We worked and lived in Manhattan and thought we “knew it all” and we were so mistaken. We really did not the tour to end. I highly recommend this tour.

Mark was great!
Dec. 2019 • Friends
We booked a semi private tour and it ended up being just the two of us with the tour guide Mark. He was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable! Was able to answer all of our questions and really gave us a better appreciation for the history and architecture around the flatiron district and Rockefeller Center. Highly recommend and would love to do another tour with Mark again.

Katherine was well-versed in her subject and well prepared with ancillary materials (photos on her ipad). She adjusted her presentation as she learned of our backgounds and interests. She was personable and friendly and informative. We had a great time and learned new things about buildings that we were already familiar with.

My favorite part of visiting any big city is seeing all the buildings in all different architectural styles. This tour fulfilled my desire to learn more about some famous NYC buildings. The guide and the pace of the tour were great.

Amazing, enjoyable and instructive
Dec. 2018 • Friends
Recently I had the chance to travel and take part in many tours, however, my recent experience with Babylon Tours was by far one of the very best. My first contact was a lovely email sent to me after booking the tour through Expedia. This was very reassuring. Then, a couple of days before the tour, I received a reminder email with the name and contact information of the guide.
Robin Garr was our guide after the original guide was changed due to illness.
She was enjoyable and knowledgable. Extremely professional and pleasant. I took the tour with my daughter and son-in-law. I know what I like and that is why I booked this tour and hoped they would too...I'm happy to say they did and were as pleased with Robin and the content of the tour as I was.
I can't say enough good things about the company and the tour guide. The tour was worth every cent and I would welcome the chance to book another tour with Babylon.
Thank you Robin!
