Great introduction to Art Deco in New York
Really informative guide who showed us some of the less well known, but equally beautiful, Art Deco buildings in New York and encouraged us to look beyond the scaffolding!

A must for Art Deco enthusiasts
Jeremy is a knowledgeable, articulate and engaging tour guide. The scale and detail of the buildings is extraordinary and the viewing experience was definitely enhanced by the detailed historical information Jeremy provided. Highly recommend this tour. - Karen and Greta

    Amazing, highly recommend!!
Extremely interesting tour! Money well spent. It was extremely interesting to learn about the history and architecture of that part of New York. The guide showed us so many interesting details! He was very knowledgable, was able to answer all the questions and seemed very much into the topic. I highly recommend. A hint for my fellow European travellers: prepare cash for the tip. I totally forgot about that but by the end of the tour I regretted not being able to show my appreciation. And another tip: if you can't book for one person through their website, contact them and they can provide another link ( I guess only if there is already someone else who signed up for the same day but still).

    Outstanding tour!
The tour took us into gorgeous lobbies I would have walked right by. Our guide, Jeremy, was outstanding. He pointed out details of the exterior and interior of buildings that I would not have noticed. HIGHLY recommend.

Do not miss this tour if you enjoy NYC architecture!
Jeremy was an absolute delight to tour with. His passion for and deep knowledge of the sites we toured showed every minute. And his storytelling brought them to life. 5 stars all day long!

Put this tour as #1 on your travel itinerary!
The description of this tour doesn't give it justice! The tour is full of history, information about the architecture around the city and its origins! Annabelle, our tour guide, knows her stuff and she loves sharing her knowledge! Even if you have lived in the city or traveled here often, this tour is a great experience. There are a number of buildings that we went into as well, and Annabelle shared about the interior decor, not just about the structure of the building from the outside.

    Fantastic tour and considerate host
Wanted to add my voice to the chorus celebrating the Art Deco tour run by Jeremy. Not only is he a wealth of knowledge and very responsive to questions, but my dad and I took the tour on a particularly hot summer day and he made a point of altering his route to keep up in the shade, even taking a shortcut underground to make sure we didn’t spend too much time in the sun. My only note would be that I’d suggest it may be good for him to use a small clip-on mic for the tour as some locations he took us to were quite loud and had me straining to hear, but for all I know there may be regulation around this. I’d still easily give this tour five stars and strongly recommend to anyone with even a passing interest in architecture.

Great for families visiting NYC --you'll learn a ton, too, if you live here!
Jeremy was an awesome guide through Central Park. I moved to NYC over 20 years ago, and I took my mom who was visiting NYC. I loved it as much as she did. I had no idea of the history that Jeremy taught us and led us through. I recommend it for anyone -- New Yorker or visitor -- or combination of both. Thanks, Jeremy!

Recommendable Art Déco & Architecture tour in Midtown NYC :-)
We had a great tour with Jeremy Wilcox for Art Déco & Architecture in Midtown NYC. He is an excellent, professional guide with a very deep knowledge about the different buildings and history :-)) It was one of the best memories of our NYC trip! Even days after the tour we talked about it when we passed by one of the buildings :-)) It was so much detailed information about these buildings we would even not have paid attention to when passing by on our own. Absolutely recommendable tour :-) 6 stars in a 5-star-rating ;-))

A must take tour of midtown Manhattan
This was really one of the highlights of our trip to New York. Jeremy is a passionate and eloquent guide that inspired everybody in the group. While you are walking in midtown Manhattan, you think you already know a lot, but the things we've learned are enormous.

    Informative and Interesting!
Jeremy really knows his New York architectural history. He used visual aids that he brought with him to further describe certain styles and details which are difficult or impossible to see from the ground. We saw buildings we would not have seen if we didn't go on this tour and we now have a better understanding of their significance in the history of Art Deco in New York!

Jeremy was exceptional—I asked him to create a custom walking tour of Invader’s street art for my husband’s birthday, and Jeremy went above and beyond my expectations. He was engaging, informative and incredibly knowledgeable. This was a truly special experience, and I highly recommend Jeremy to anyone looking for a creative NYC tour.

We spent a great morning with Jeremy wandering the lower east side streets and seeing some awesome street art. Jeremy not only has fantastic knowledge on the areas but the street artists who work in the area. If your looking for something different that shows you some great neighbour hoods and some great local art this is the one for you.

We had a wonderful time on this street art/graffiti exploration. The guide gave us good background info on graffiti and how it is changing, how the artists work, and all the styles. We really loved all the art. We covered a good amount of ground, and I saw some breathtaking murals. It is interesting to see how much it all changes.

Would recommend this fun & engaging tour.
