      Amazing tour!
We absolutely had the best time on this tour! Our tour guide, and the others that kept everyone together were very fun and professional. It was just an amazing trip and a wonderful memory for me and my best friend on our dream trip to New York at Christmas. Thank you again for making it so magical!!

      Xmas lights Brooklyn style!
What a fantastic tour. Well organised, Myles was an awesome tour guide, gave a great history lesson whilst driving around. The bus was super comfy, when arriving at Dyker Heights extra staff were there. This helped keeping everyone together, taking photos of us. Everyone was so friendly. Great tour, I highly recommend!

      A different kind of fun!
We enjoyed the ride to Brooklyn as much as the lights themselves. Beautiful cityscapes at night. There’s a bathroom on the bus but bring your drinks/snacks. If you like Christmas lights, this is your tour!

Missed the bus but it turned out to be the best experience
We've read reviews that said this was a good tour to take however we arrived minutes after the bus had departed. We were told to arrive 15 minutes before they Departed to check in however the subway that we were taking was delayed so we chose another train that one got us there a little too late after running several blocks we did not make it on time. After reading that there would be no refunds and that we could not meet them there to join the tour we decided to do it by ourself. We were glad that we done it on our own we were able to see more neighborhoods and houses that were not on the tour and do it at our pace and ended up being a lot of fun. There were several police officers directing traffic and it felt very safe. If you are wondering whether to take the tour or do it on your own it was very easy to take the subway and a 15 minute walk to get to the neighborhood , very easy to find . I wish I would not have paid for this tour and wasted that money.

      Had a great time!
Had a great time on this tour, was so much fun with Bruce as the tourguide. He obviously knows a lot about NY and the houses on this tour. Made sure everyone was back on the bus before taking off to another location. I enjoyed the Christmas music and videos on the bus as well. Definitely recommend to book this great tour!

      Christmas Lights Tour
Christmas in New York is a popular destination and on many bucket lists, with the Rockefeller tree, Christmas window displays and a carriage in Central Park in the snow being the front page of the travel brochure choices. However, if this is as far as you manage to venture then I’m afraid you are missing out on the full New York Christmas experience, and buddy, it ain’t in Manhattan. The Christmas lights in Brooklyn began in the eighties with Lucy Spata in the Dyker Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn. Nearly four decades later and the area shines brighter than the lights on broadway and Times Square combined. Displays boast extreme Christmas decorations that include animatronic characters and in one case a 15 foot Santa. Getting to the area is not easy on public transport and in a private car, FUHGETTABOUDIT!! However, the kind people of A Slice Of Brooklyn bus tours are on hand to get you to the hot spots and a few bonus places too. We were picked in Union Square by the bus with a warm Brooklyn welcome and a local tour guide that was informative and entertaining. Once you get to Dyker Heights you are guided on foot through the area, which is perfect for photography and getting those all important social media posts and unique Christmas photos for loved ones. You get tips for the best photo ops and staff are happy to take photos for you, so you don’t have to trust strangers with your phone. There’s plenty of rime to take everything in and absorb the Christmas atmosphere. As a bonus after you get back on the bus you get taken to Sam the Greeks house which is decked out with stunning lights, Christmas trees and hundreds of festive ornaments. The whole experience made my Christmas this year and I cannot recommend this tour enough. Thank you to Tony and the whole Slice of Brooklyn team for an unforgettable experience.

Great places were part of this tour. Fantastic displays. Meeting places and timeframes were clearly explained before each drop off time. A great tour (guide was terrific as well).

      Dyker "Lights" Amazes!
Rusty was a great guide and Ruben navigated the bus on narrow streets- a real pro! Lights were unbelivable and walking around to get up close and personal was super. Didn't disappoint! Highly recommend for a fun, NYC/Brooklyn experience!

      Disappointing
The tour was totally not worth it for the money. You spend half your time on the bus and when you finally get to Dyker Heights you have 45 minutes to see the lights. And when I say see the lights it's actually just a square block when there are so many beautiful houses to see. In fact some off the houses advertised don't even have the lights up which is false advertising. Do yourself a favor and take the train in from Manhattan and make an afternoon of it to completely see all the lights and save yourself some money.

An Awesome time at: A Slice of Brooklyn Christmas Lights Tour with the amazing Camber Carpenter!
All I can say is my wife and I had an awesome time on the Slice of Brooklyn Christmas Lights tour! Our tour guide, Camber Carpenter, was excellent. She provided history of the Christmas lights with humor and fun and also gave us the perfect balance of being with the tour guide and having some time for ourselves to enjoy these awesome light displays. I was so impressed with the tour and Camber that I VLOG’d it on my youtube channel. I highly recommend this tour, and I hope you get a chance to experience it. If you get Camber, it will be a real treat. Happy holidays, everyone!

On October 19, 2024 my son and I took A Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time. First let me say that the pizza and ambience at both Grimaldi's and L&B Spumoni Gardens was outstanding! Simply delicious. Now back to the tour. Tony, our guide, was incredible. He was extremely friendly. He made us feel comfortable right from the beginning. He mad a lot of friendly chat, knew our names almost immediately and got us all involved in the experience. In traveling, he pointed out all the interesting sights and gave a lot of information about the sights and various neighborhoods we drove through. He gave us a lot of trivia and also film clips of the locations used in various films and TV shows. He really did his homework! Tony is a great guy! Friendly, accommodating and a great sense of humor. He was also attentive to our safety and made sure everyone was taken care of. Our driver, Holly, performed her job with a quiet professionalism despite the traffic and any obstacles and her creative re-creation of "The French Connection" really added to the fun on the trip! Overall, the tour was excellent and I would definitely enjoy doing another tour with "A Slice of Brooklyn Bus Tours"!!

Mark was an amazing tour guide bringing great color and personality to a pizza/Brooklyn tour that left us full figuratively and literally. It was great to learn about the different styles of pizza from Brooklyn's most famous pizza restaurants while learning a lot about some of Brooklyns most historic and eclectic neighborhood. As a New Yorker this is a trip I'd recommend to all my local friends and a must for anyone visiting from out of town! Will be doing their other tours

Tony was so quick to answer my email and questions. Mark the tour guide was the very best. My husband is waiting knee replacement surgery and they both made sure we had a front seat on the bus had the bus pull closer to the drop off location and was so great on the tour. The pizzas were delicious, Mark was funny, kind and knowledgable! I would recommend anyone in NYC to take this tour! Thank you both. Art and Kim Miller

This is our second time on the Slice of Brooklyn Pizza 🍕 Tour and our kids’ first time - we all LOVED it. Marc has been voted by us as the BEST tour guide EVER. He was hilarious and fussed over our tween and teen, making the tour a highly memorable experience for them. 2 great pizza stops and Spumoni that we have waited 10 years to eat for the second time. Thanks Marc for a great tour Jodie, Paul, Miki & Kai (Wolverine).

We were so excited to experience the pizza tour during our first-ever trip to NYC. Unfortunately, our tour was cancelled the day prior. I called to find out why and see if there were other options and was told the guide had Covid. I completely understood and appreciated the safety protocol, but was really disappointed. The owner, Tony Muia, went above and beyond by emailing me the itinerary and some additional suggestions (while also quickly refunding our money). As a result, we still went to Brooklyn, ate some delicious pizza, and experienced some amazing/easy public transit options we wouldn't have tried otherwise. (Highly recommend the ferry between Brooklyn and midtown.) Would have loved to hear the stories and see everything on the tour (no way to fit it all in on our own) as it's obvious this company is committed to giving their customers a first class experience. Won't hesitate to book another tour on our next visit.

We had such a great time! Our tour guide, Marc, kept the energy up on a rainy day! I learned a lot about Brooklyn and was happy to share this experience with my partner and his father. And it helps that we were well fed! The driver and guide were hospitable and charming. And the staff at the restaurants were lovely as well! I would highly recommend a day of pizza eating and mob references to anyone looking for something fun to do in New York!

If you're looking for a fun and informative Brooklyn adventure, this is the one for you! My friends and I enjoyed an air conditioned bus ride around Brooklyn where Marc, the best tour guide ever, took time to connect with everyone on the bus, entertain us with his stories, and educate us on Brooklyn's history and pizza. The pizza at both Grimaldi's and L and B was fantastic. The staff at both places were welcoming and friendly. The bonus visit to Coney Island was a great surprise. Kevin, our driver, expertly steered the bus through some precarious situations. Make your reservation today!

The Pizza Tour of Brooklyn was world class! Tony was a pleasant, engaging, knowledgeable and humorous guide. We felt as if he was a member of our family. I’ve rarely enjoyed a tour as much as I enjoyed this tour. It’s a must see if anyone wants an enjoyable and more complete tour of one of Nee York City’s historic boroughs.

Another wonderful trip, this was my 5th time doing this tour and Tony just keeps getting better and better each time. His knowledge of Brooklyn and its history makes it fun and entertaining. The pizza is always delicious and the service is amazing. And last but not least, kudos to Toby navigating through the horrific traffic because of the marathon. Cannot wait till December for the Christmas lights tour.
