The tour was an excellent combination of interesting history and spooky stories. I especially liked stopping at Washington Square Park and later hearing about the girl in the blue dress! Our guide Emilia was AWESOME! I really recommend :)

Positive experience, guide was professional and on time, lots of interesting stories. Personally I would prefer less historical accuracy and more ghost stories, but there were plenty of haunting tales and now when I go to the area I can show off my knowledge to friends :-)

Jules was such an amazing tour guide. I went with my best friend and she is a medium in training, and she was able to sense/see so many spirits! Our tour guide was so patient and knowledgeable, and the extended tour guide was absolutely worth it!!

This is SUCH a fun way to spend a night with friends- an educational and entertaining way to go drinking. I learned a lot of fascinating spooky history, and our tour guide Becca was so charming and funny. She made everyone feel welcome and made an effort to make sure everyone was included. Great tour!

We had such a great time on this tour! We were lucky enough to be the only 2 on the tour, so we really got to know our guide well. Becca was so knowledgeable about the ghost stories, but also about the City as a whole! We loved the wide range of ghost stories and the unique bar stops through such a fun part of the City!

My husband and I always do a ghost tour in every city we visit and NYGhost and Marcus did not disappoint! We were greeted by Marcus and pleasantly surprised to hear we were the only attendees who showed (due to the weather being cold and rainy). Marcus was extremely informative, entertaining and kind. He shared so many experiences, stories and history from all around the village that we actually felt like we learned something after the tour had ended.

The stories told were spooky with background history of the city. Really cool to walk through the Greenwich area on foot and learn the history. Would definitely go again when in NYC.

Booked, arrived early and NO TOUR GUIDE SHOWED!!! WTF. Save your money. Could not even contact the tour company, what a pain in the butt.

I’ve been on several tours like this and have learned so much about this history of whatever city I’m in. This NYC tour was equal parts informative history and great fun! A unique and relaxing way to spend a couple of hours. Hannah was a great guide; she has a quick wit and charm...and no corny jokes. You won’t regret this tour!

The guide seemed to be in a hurry since minute one so the group was following her almost running all around Greenwich Village. She was explaining even while walking (and crossing the streets) so the people behind couldn't even listen to her stories. She knows what she talks about and once you stop in front of a building you receive a quick explanation about why the stop there. Zero ambiance, adequate attitude or feeling of staying in spooky or even interesting places as all the time you feel like running (and I am in good shape) and that she wants to finish as soon as possible and leave you there. It is a pity as the zone seems interesting with good places and stories and with a good guide it must be a good experience. On the other hand you can pay 10 dollars more to have an "extra" 30 minutes that consists basically in one place more a couple of blocks from the finishing point. That finally tastes cheap. I have done ghosts tours around the world and they were way far better experiences (even the mediocre ones). They should better prepare the guides to help customers get in the "ghosts mood", if they are in a hurry or they don't care at all about the job they are doing show them to pretend they are enjoying the experience. Better visit less places and let people feel or imagine something but above all don't underestimate good will in customers or the value of their money.
