Don’t miss out on this tour!
My husband and I always do a ghost tour in every city we visit and NYGhost and Marcus did not disappoint! We were greeted by Marcus and pleasantly surprised to hear we were the only attendees who showed (due to the weather being cold and rainy). Marcus was extremely informative, entertaining and kind. He shared so many experiences, stories and history from all around the village that we actually felt like we learned something after the tour had ended.

Fun tour with a friendly guide!
John was great! We did a tour with only two of us and had a blast. He was very friendly knowledgeable about the area and kept the tour very interesting. The stories told were spooky with background history of the city. Really cool to walk through the Greenwich area on foot and learn the history. Would definitely go again when in NYC.

      Great fun
I’ve been on several tours like this and have learned so much about this history of whatever city I’m in. This NYC tour was equal parts informative history and great fun! A unique and relaxing way to spend a couple of hours. Hannah was a great guide; she has a quick wit and charm...and no corny jokes. You won’t regret this tour!

Stressing and non enjoyable experience... and not because of ghosts.
The guide seemed to be in a hurry since minute one so the group was following her almost running all around Greenwich Village. She was explaining even while walking (and crossing the streets) so the people behind couldn't even listen to her stories. She knows what she talks about and once you stop in front of a building you receive a quick explanation about why the stop there. Zero ambiance, adequate attitude or feeling of staying in spooky or even interesting places as all the time you feel like running (and I am in good shape) and that she wants to finish as soon as possible and leave you there. It is a pity as the zone seems interesting with good places and stories and with a good guide it must be a good experience. On the other hand you can pay 10 dollars more to have an "extra" 30 minutes that consists basically in one place more a couple of blocks from the finishing point. That finally tastes cheap. I have done ghosts tours around the world and they were way far better experiences (even the mediocre ones). They should better prepare the guides to help customers get in the "ghosts mood", if they are in a hurry or they don't care at all about the job they are doing show them to pretend they are enjoying the experience. Better visit less places and let people feel or imagine something but above all don't underestimate good will in customers or the value of their money.

      We had a ghoulish time!
My daughter and I ended up being the only two on the tour so Tony showed us around all the haunted sites on the tour and a couple of nearby places I wanted to see as well! He was funny and we all laughed our way through the Village! We would definitely do it again! Thanks, Tony!

      Amazing tour!
The tour was actually one of the best we had in New York, we thought it will be plain and too long but nothing like that at all. Glenn our tour guide who was very patient, nice and knowledgeable took us to this “unknown world” Greenwich village told us all these interesting stories and weird creepy things happened around it, and the neighborhood was very nice and we even stayed around this neighborhood to eat dinner after the tour ended, definitely a tour I 100% recommend, I’ll do it again with more friends next time.

      Fun, educational tour!
Lots of history and well delivered, true stories of murder, accidents, disaster and spirits that share the night with us...whether we realize it or not. Tony was an awesome guide! My 13 year old son and I thoroughly enjoyed our time on this walk around Greenwich Village! We highly recommend it.

      Entertaining, interesting, spooky, and historical
I had a great time on this tour. The guide Becky was great and our tour group was small, under ten people. The tour was about 90 minutes long, and we covered a lot of interesting facts about the city I've never heard before that fed right into the eerie stories of hauntings that happen at each of the places we visited. I think it's a hidden gem worth checking out.

      Fun and Interesting
Tony was a great guide. He was easy to find at the meeting place, thanks to him texting us in advance. Tony really know his topic. No spoilers here but you will be surprised at some of the facts. If it were my first time to New York I may not have thought of taking this tour, but for repeaters like myself, it was a great way to find out about a previously unexplored part of New York, i.e. Greenwich Village. Highly recommended fo all the family.

I was at the meeting point 20 mins before the supposed meeting time but the tour guide wasn’t there. when I called the company firstly they said that the tour guide didn’t make it and that they are going to refund but after a couple of minutes they were like the tour guide was there so we’re not going to refund you. BTW I called them several hours before I was there to confirm that there are other people coming and they confirmed that there were 4,which was also a lie because no one was there for the tour.

While Marcus was a great guide the tour was not small as promised (no more than 20). Upon arrival, there were 2 tour guides as there were way too many people, and it was made apparent that everyone got the extended tour, even if it was not paid for by everyone. There was more than 30 people on our tour even after the split
and it was more of a history tour than a ghost tour. I have been on ghost tours all over the country and while I had high expectations, I was disappointed.

I just want to say, I wasn’t really expecting to be scared. I mean, we were hoping for a bit of fun and even though I won’t have bad dreams, it was very craaazy! My bff and I booked last minute and guess we got lucky with the guide. I even rented one of those thingys to detect the ghosts. Anyway, all around great time. We want to come back with a group so we can scare them too. Definitely need to go on another one of these!

Fun tour with an excellent tour guide. We learned so much during this tour. There is a lot of walking so wear comfortable shoes. This was my 10 year old daughters favorite tour on our trip. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Picture yourself waking around with a friend who's really into history and loves Edgar Allen Aoe and Aaron Burr, and at the end of every story he says, "and they say people still see a man walking with a little girl to this day." The tour was that about six times. More informative than spooky. But we bumped into a few other tour groups from different companies and from what I can tell the information I got was pretty much status quo across the board.
