Overview
Beat the big crowds at the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island with this early-access tour. Enjoy special early-morning priority boarding for the ferry, and then cruise over to Liberty Island before most of the crowds arrive. Follow a guide on a tour of two of New York City’s most iconic landmarks as you learn about their significance to the US and world history.
What to Expect

Meet for this early-access Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island tour at Pier A Harbor House. Spend some time visiting the nearby memorials with your guide. Then be one of the first passengers to board your ferry for the ride over to Liberty Island.

At the Statue of Liberty, take a guided tour that leads you up to the pedestal for stunning views. Your guide tells you stories along the way as you get to see the statue closer than with any other standard visit.

Hop back on the ferry for the short ride to Ellis Island. Learn all about the complicated immigration progress people went through as your guide takes you through the collection of interactive displays.

At the end of your tour, either take the ferry back to Battery Park with your guide or stay on Ellis Island to explore more before returning on your own.

Definitely worth it to have a guide!

Our tour guide, Jacob, was amazing! If you want to spend more time at Ellis Island after the tour you can; there is a lot to see.

Great guide and awesome tour!

Colin was our guide and he was a great, personable guide and led our tour with enthusiasm and a wealth of historical facts. Couldn't have picked a better tour or day to take it, a rare warm sunny day in November.

From the time we met our guide and group at 8:45 until our guide left us at Ellis Island to further explore on our own at 1:30 was 4-3/4 hours.

I found a link for you that explains the general accessibility for the ferries and the statue. I can't post the link here but you can find it with a quick search on accessibility for the ferry lines and the statue.
