      Dyker Heights must see!
Loved the interactive and informative tour! Great way to see the lights and not get lost in the crowds! Our tour guide was funny- but also great at answering all our questions.

Not worth it at all - better explore on your own
Not worth it at all. We were friendly met by two guides nearby the subway station. Although they divided the group in half, we still were very many - definitely more than the advertised max of 24. Our guide wore a backpack with speaker and constabtly tried to animate the group, whilst christmas music blared from.the speaker). Pretty annoying and we felt like cruise tourists or a group of kindergarten kids on excursion. Though people didn't react (obviously- we were here for Christmas lights, not a show) he constantly tried to push farther. Maybe this was adequate for the Americans in the tour but it felt pretty awkward to most of the internationals). When arriving in Dyker hights (which can easily be found on google maps) we soon realized that there was no benefit from the tour so we dropped out after the first stop. The neighborhood can easily be explored on your own hand and in your own pace. Just walk the streets block by block up and down as long as you want and save the money for a drink in a bar. 😁

      You should go!
So magical! I expected every house to be lit up in the neighborhood, but there are several that aren’t. The ones that are, go all out!

      Fantastic day out
Fantastic tour, our guide Nick was great with a true love of the art but even more for his neighborhood. Spoke several languages which made it very inclusive. The street art is out of this world crazy good, would recommend to solos like me, couples and families. Great day and thanks for having me.

Excellent tour - would highly recommend
One of the highlights of our trip, this was a brilliant tour exploring the neighbourhood of Bushwick and learning all about the culture and history as well as the street art itself. Our guide Ricky was hugely knowledgeable and made the tour really fun, keeping our teenage boys engaged throughout. Would highly recommend!

      Deep in Bushwick
Very interesting and engaging tour! There were many corners to explore and several iconic graffiti pieces to see. Nico was funny and captivating, making the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour to discover a neighborhood so different from Manhattan and learn about its unique history

Graffiti walking tour in Brooklyn with Nic
Really enjoyed this tour. First off Nic was excellent - we were late because of a problem on the L train but he proactively contacted us and made sure we found him. Awesome local knowledge and discussion about street art vs. Graffiti vs. what is important in life. Local knowledge and understanding are f the groups involved in creating the art was soooo good. Not usually my go to kind of thing but would do this again without thinking twice.

      Great guide, great art!
Bushwick is a welcome alternative to Manhattan! And the street art is a breath of fresh air too! It was a sunny day when I was on the tour led by Nick. We had people speaking four different languages and Nick managed to talk to and with everyone! The history of the area and its street art was fascinating and the art itself varied and always thought-provoking. It was a delight to be guided by Nick and I know we all had a great time. I'd recommend this tour as a New York essential for any visitor!

      Informative tour of Bushwick graffiti
Katie gave a great tour of the graffiti in Bushwick. She is an artist and knows many of her fellow artists. We had a leisurely paced walk. The graffiti is amazing.

Great tour with a very good guide
Nick was the best. He was entertaining and informative. We learned a lot about Graffiti versus Street art, but also about the neighbourhood and its people. I really recommend this tour.

      Well worth the cost
Thank you, John, for an interesting and informative walking tour over the Brooklyn Bridge and into DUMBO. Well worth the money to learn about the building of the bridge and the stories of the people involved. Otherwise we would have just walked across and enjoyed the beautiful views without this extra information. At John's suggestion, we ate at Juliana's pizza and took the ferry back to Manhattan.

gave plenty of explanations on street art and
brooklyn history. The staff and the organisation was

The guide wasn't meant to be a tour guide. No interaction with the group at any point, not even in the beginning. It was like he was reading a script at every stop, and after reading it, without a word he started walking to a next stop. Brooklyn itself is definitely worth a visit, and with an enthusiastic guide it would probably have been very different experience.

We had a terrible experience. We were late 10 minutes. So we walked to the next stop as suggested by the tour guide on the site. Never showed up. Never responded to text or call. Two hours later he offered to pay 50% of tour that never took place!!
    Highly NOT RECOMENDED!!

Amazing tour. Our guide Nic make it interesting and enjoyable all the way throughout, uncovering the history of the area. He shared many not so known stories of the subtle but profound transformations that Williamsburg has experienced in the last decades. I encourage you to attend to this tour if you want to discover more from Brooklyn but you are not sure how to. Very recommended!

    Many thanks, Nic!

Interesting tour about the history of Williamsburg. It shows the development the quarter has gone through in the last decades. The guide who grew up in Brookly explained everything very well, altough he could have been more interactive at some points. But I can definitely recommend this tour for everyone who wants to see something different than Manhatten.

We had a nice walk in Williamsburg, the "hipster" neighborhood in Brooklyn. Our guide pointed out all the main attractions, mainly reconverted hotels and condos, and it was interesting to see how this area has evolved during the years. If you'd like to discover more unconventional paths, I recommend the tour. In our case, it was included in our NYC Pass.
