This was amazing. Great date night idea. Chef Ed Kelly and Olga were fabulous! We made several seafood dishes which all tasted amazing. It was great because you could make your dish personal to you - if you didn’t like something simply don’t include it . Again a massive thank you to Ed and Olga - professional and great at what they do.

Advertised as 20 maximum and there were 40 people. Everything was slow due to class size. Ingredients were pre-chopped and pre-mixed, dipping sauces from a bottle! Lots of drunk, loud, obnoxious attendees due to all the wine carafes. Guy with allergies (instructor not told ahead of time) and everything had to be separated (one of the dumplings was shrimp!). Not a real cooking class and definitely not worth $140!

We went to the Mexican Fiesta cooking class and had a fantastic experience. The whole night was extremely organized and well run. There were about 12 people in the class including us and the chefs did a great job of bringing everyone together to prepare the dishes. There was plenty of food (which was delicious) and we were even able to take some home. We definitely plan to try their other classes in the future.

Took part in the Italian cooking class and was absolutely thrilled! Learned plenty of incredible cooking tips and tricks (as well as facts) throughout the whole thing while listening to great music, drinking wine, and enjoying ourselves. Chef John led the class and he was absolutely great! He orchestrated a friendly environment that made every participant feel welcome while also putting on a great show. We did everything from creating our own tiramisu, making mozzarella from scratch, and three different pastas! The staff around John were also great and incredibly helpful as well! Looking forward to the next class at Selfup!

Chef Gary and Owen provided a great cooking class where we all made fresh mozzarella, pasta, ravioli, fettuccine, and tiramisu. The chef also made great marinara sauce and chicken marsala to round out the dinner. The group was about 25 people and we all had an opportunity to make food. There are opportunities if you want to do more in the kitchen.

We had a great time. Chef John was terrific - high energy and nice balance of fun and instruction. My wife likes to cook - and me, not so much - the fact that we both enjoyed the class a testament to Chef John's skill. Highly recommended.

This class is a MUST. Unbelievable experience with Joe as the instructor. His class and expertise make this entire experience complete. Without him, I’m not sure our experience would’ve been as good as it was. The food was incredible, and also easy to recreate if you so desire to recreate the dish at home. Definitely consider this class, even if french bistro isn’t your top choice. You will not be disappointed!

This was an amazing experience! Chef Joe was fun, personable, funny, and a great teacher! We kneaded and made our own dough, experimented with toppings, and ate delicious pizza. We made about 12 pizzas, to go along with a great salad and wine! I can’t recommend this experience enough!!

What a great activity with our team. We enjoyed the experience and staff was wonderful to work with.

Great authentic French cuisine. Very professional and charming staff. The escargot was juicy and very flavorful. All in all a great experience.

I took my girlfriend for a birthday present/valentine’s day gift. i would highly recommend this to any couple - very hands on, fun, great food and atmosphere! definitely going back.

Rudy is an amazing chef with a great personality! We had so much fun making the food and it was DELICIOUS! We will definitely back for another class!

5 lifelong girlfriends gathered for an evening with Chef Joe Maglio and the lovely Oceana for the Italian cooking class. The evening surpassed all of our expectations! It was filled with learning, great food and wine and lots of laughs. It was a hands on dinner party with strangers who shortly became friends. Chef Joe and Oceana were remarkable leaders and hosts and their charismatic personalities and patience made the evening one for the books. I would choose a Selfup cooking class over dinner out at a restaurant anytime!

We originally signed up for the gluten free class but due to lack of additional sign ups we were asked if it would be okay for us to join the other Italian cooking class going on. They were very up front that we would still maintain a gluten free environment for my partner and I and they were very accommodating to make sure we had a good experience. The Chef and his team were fun, knowledgeable and for us went out of their way to make sure we were okay and comfortable. Overall a very positive experience and would look forward to other Gluten free classes in the future.

We had a great time with Chef Rudy and loved our pasta making experience! We had so much fun cooking and meeting new people! The only thing that I think I would change is making take out containers available- there was so much wasted food!
