Explore the "Paris of the South"—Asheville, North Carolina—on a Segway during this 2-hour guided tour. Traveling via Segway allows you to cover much more ground than you would on foot, which makes this a great comprehensive tour for first-time visitors. You'll get lessons on how to maneuver the 2-wheeled, self-balancing electric scooter before you depart; even beginners will feel safe and comfortable.
What to Expect
See beautiful Asheville the best way, on a Segway! Glide through our city’s center and experience the heart, culture, street vibe, buskers, breweries and Old World charm that makes Asheville one of the most unique cities on the East Coast! Once you arrive, you’re greeted and start training for your own Segway i2! From there, we hit the sidewalks and streets off to explore the Paris of the South. We go along the French Brood, down to the city center & square and if you are lucky, may be able to witness Asheville's famous drum circle or hula hoop after work jam. It is an unforgettable way to tour a large area.

Not a good idea in hilly Asheville, NC

Scott, the tour guide, was a wonderful, knowledgeable guide. He trained my husband and me for our tour through downtown Asheville. The Segway is a sensitive piece of machinery. It is difficult to master right away. If I had stayed on flat surfaces, I would...More

You should ask your doctor; I agree with one of the responses in the sense that your surgery is too recent. There are short breaks in the tour but you will always be standing.
