Exact destinations & itinerary may differ due to weather, road conditions, and the guide's discretion.
California law requires tour guests to bring a car safety seat for all children under 8 years and under 4' 9" (1.4 meters) in height. Any guest that does not provide their child's safety seat at the time of the tour and does not inform the tour operator in advance may not be allowed to board the tour and will not be subject to refund.
For hotel pickups, please select the Hilton Union Square if your hotel is not listed.
The Giant Sequoias Grove is located at a higher elevation and the hike is dependent on trail conditions, especially from October through May. Ice and snow might make the trail unsafe to hike. The decision of whether it is safe to go on the hike will be made on a day by day basis. Therefore, a visit cannot be guaranteed. However, while the trail might be closed, guests get to spend more time in Yosemite Valley. There you can see all the other great sights Yosemite has to offer, including El Capitan, Inspiration Point, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls and more.
Access to the Sequoia Grove can be difficult during winter months, generally October through April, and other activities may be substituted at the discretion of the guide.
During winter months, temperatures in Yosemite can vary drastically to the ones in San Francisco. Therefore, it is recommend to wear winter clothes, especially shoes or boots with rubber soles and treads.
Tour makes stops for breakfast, lunch, and on the trip back for dinner. Meals are not included.
Audio guides are available in Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, German, Korean, Mandarin, and Japanese. Specify language at time of booking under special requirements.
Since there is limited to no storage within Yosemite, please make sure to only bring what you can easily carry with you. Oversized luggage will be subject to an additional $50 fee from the local operator.

Overnight Yosemite tour with no accommodation
Mar. 2020
I took the Overnight Yosemite tour because I wanted to see the awesome NP and do a few hikes. Cheaper to choose the overnight tour with NO accommodation. Book the accommodation yourself to save costs. I am solo traveller and it worked well
I had Denise to Yosemite NP and Dustin when coming out.

I really enjoyed the tour, starts really early @6am in the morning (March), and you come back around 9pm the next day.

A few tips for the Yosemite overnight tour, pack a small bag of overnight clothes, rent a heated cabin in Curry village, bring snacks/food/dinner/lunch for the trip as it is expensive to buy groceries there. Do a longer hike on arrival, and a smaller hike on the 2nd day when you have to catch the bus back.
You basically go on the same bus as the day trip Yosemite people, and catch the bus back the following day with another separate day trip group

PS: went during the coronavirus pandemic

Tour guide Denise is incredible!
Mar. 2020 • Couples
We are an Australian couple who had tour guide Denise for our tour to Yosemite. I can not express just how incredible she made the whole experience. By far the BEST tour guide I have ever had! She is knowledgeable, kind and most of all, incredibly passionate about what she does. She made sure we saw the best parts of the park, took us to incredible quieter spots to get magical photos and imparted incredible knowledge about the park and some of its rock climbing history. Toward the end of the day, Denise encouraged us all to reflect on our time being in nature and spoke about the importance and benefits of connecting with the environment. These words will be something that stick with me for the rest of my life. Thank you Denise for making an incredible experience even better!

It’s all in the name
It was a good day. Weather was perfect. The others on the bus were nice friendly people (isn’t everyone?).
But it wasn’t until 4 hours into the trip that I realized what I signed up for.
The heat and AC in the aging bus worked, but only slightly and not all the time. The driver handed a squeegee and we passed it around to be able to see out of our fogged windows.
After someone asked for warmth the driver got out, raised the bus’s hood and adjusted something on the engine. “We’ll have heat in a few minutes. The system is either all hot or all cold - no in between “.
“Extranomical”.
I get it now.
Nice.
At the “giant sequoia” hike I asked if there was water. “Ha ha. We haven’t had water since 2017” was the reply. I suppose I should have brought more, but I didn’t know some stopping points had no services (other than an outhouse). Btw: these are not the giant trees you see in photos. Just run of the mill cedars.

We all survived and saw some great vistas. The driver said that our safety was his primary concern.
Obviously our comfort was their second...or third priority.
