      Kudos to Don!
Don was informative and a delight. He connected with all the passengers and made the experience that much better. We visited 3 vineyards, Roche. Artesa and Madonna. Do yourself a favor, get a bottle at each location.

      Amazing
Outstanding views, some of the best ever seen, every site you'd want in San Fransisco is covered, and plenty of time to use restrooms and go exploring. Highly reccomend, even for the price.

The park was great but the tour was not value for money
The Redwoods in Muir Woods were amazing and definitely worth a visit however for $233 USD for two people this tour was really lacking in value for money. After a pickup downtown at 7:40am you get a brief overview of some San Francisco facts, which were good then 15 minutes at a viewing location of the Golden Gate Bridge, however given the early morning time we were staring directly into the sun making photo opportunities almost impossible. We than made it to Muir woods and only had an hour and a half, not enough time to really soak up the place and do a number of their trails. This was all self paced and no additional information from the tour company. We then got driven to Sausalito and the driver advertised all the other tours the company does for the full half hour drive. The company and driver were fine but given essentially the tour is transportation and if you were to enter the park yourself it would cost $15 USD per person plus if you factor an Uber/taxi from downtown ie $60 each way, for two people it would be $150 USD for travel and park entry and you could spend longer in the woods. Bear in mind that there is no phone signal but the visitor center can help you book a car.

Great to see the Redwoods ! 😉
Really Nice trip across the Golden Gate Bridge Muir Woods was a great experience ! The second part of the trip into Sausalito Was just ok Had dinner. It was night time and not many shops open. Maybe if you arrive in mid day and summer season the town is more attractive. Good history lesson by our drummer who safely got us to and fro. Thank You

Wonderful Bus Tour To a SF Hidden Gem
Tour Guide: A+ Charles was a knowledgable and friendly tour guide with a multitude of stories and factoids. He kept us entertained the whole trip, and was a very safe driver (see Route below) Route: A* The Route from Fisherman's Wharf to the woods was a great way to see other things like the golden gate bridge/park, and beautiful views of the bay. * The winding and treacherous roads into and out of Redwood Canyon were expertly navigated by Charles, but can cause nausea for those prone to motion sickness or are spooked by heights. We recommend bringing gravol. Timings: A- We personally would have liked more time in the woods, but we also understand that the tour has to balance the length for different types of traveller. NOTE: if you have a group BE ON TIME BACK TO THE BUS. Charles was very clear from the start that timings have to be closely met. He also gave great recommendations on ways to see everything while staying on time. When someone had thought they left their phone behind after we had departed, they asked Charles to turn back, but he politely told them he couldn't because all the other passengers also had places to be (super reasonable and professional). However this means you gotta make sure your group stays disciplined and on-time, also double check your bags before you get back on the bus.

      Love, love, love this tour!
The winery tour was amazing. So many great opportunities for beautiful photos and of course, you will be able to try so many great wines! Even though there was only about an hour allocated to visit each winery, it felt like plenty of time to get to know the places and the wine-making process at each location. Every guide at each location were lovely, friendly, and just outright awesome. Prepare to try many great wines. The actual tour guide person was also professional and experienced.

The best bus driver in San Francisco!
This whole experience was as perfect for a tour as you can get, not only due to the amazing views at Muir Woods and the Sausalito Ferry, but most importantly due to the absolute best bus driver in San Francisco! Adolfo is a local treasure, this is the second time he’s driven us and whatever he’s making is not enough! He’s witty, very knowledgeable and super professional. He even changed a tire before picking us up! Adolfo made this whole trip an unforgettable adventure, he’s the 🐐 of bus drivers.

Good tour needs a bit of reorganizing
The Tour started on time and on a big bus from gray line. It was a fairly well organized tour that was enjoyable . The winemakers explained the process and there was wine tasting . If there was a little less explanation it would be great as then it gives us a chance to explore the vineyard more . Felt a bit rushed at the first two vineyards Jacuzzi and Artesa ( definitely need more time there ) the last one had a lot of wine to offer but not as picturesque. If the tour could include some nibbles or cheese at the vineyard would be great as you are drinking wine without nibbling anything .

      Fascinating!
Fascinating, yet, these are the smaller of the Sequoias. One cannot imagine the sheer size and magnitude of these majestic, gentle giants. A must see! The pre-planned Viator bus tour from Fisherman’s Wharf was absolutely fantastic. Our bus driver aka tour guide was well-informed, comedic, and so entertaining. Don’t be late! We returned to Fisherman’s Wharf via Ferry from Sausalito because the extra time in Sausalito for tacos. What a treat-dress in layers because the upper deck is gorgeous, breezy, and cold. The Golden Gate Bridge was sparkling in the pre-sunset glow. A must see- happy travels!!!

      Muir Woods and Sausalito
We enjoyed the Muir Woods and Sausalito . We came back with the bus but the ferry would have allowed more time to eat at Sausalito.

The tour starts from the downtown, San Francisco with a pick up at two places. The driver (Jack) and the tour guide (Joseph) works like a team with an excellent cooperation benefitting all travelers. Best part of the tour - both Jack and Joseph provide all information regarding the tour detail including the lunch and food information. Both ways, the bus stops at the grocery where the visitor can buy fresh lunch and snacks at a comparative price. The tour was extremely enjoyable with the background history and the photo opportunity. In brief, a tourist can surely take the tour (single or family) without any hesitation.

The one way to get there from downtown San Francisco takes a three hours bus drive but it's worth enough for the one-day trip to check fantastic panorama views and have three hours of hiking at the Yosemite valley.
I need to visit there again to spend a much longer time/days.
The tour guide and bus driver are excellent, nothing to complain about.
The worst thing was the bus's air-conditioner was broken from the early morning to the end of the tour, just like staying in a sauna during a round trip. I was afraid of getting heatstroke because all the windows are fixed and cannot open at all, only emergency exits on the ceiling could open small spaces.
Besides the air-conditioner issue, everything was fantastic.

We had booked a full day tour from SFO to Yosemite National Park with Incredible Adventures. We were given a pick up point as our hotel was not on their route. 6.45 AM was the pick up time so we left our hotel around 6.00 am. We got our breakfast packed since it was too early for our hotel to serve breakfast. We had to wait for few minutes before their vehicle arrived. We were then taken to another point and changed vehicle.
Our driver was a lady named Jill who was also our guide for the entire tour. She was good and gave us all information about the places of interest. We reached around past 11.00 am and she gave us 3 hours time to spend there. From the visitor center, we went to lower Yosemite fall, Yosemite valley, El Capitan and walked through the trail. There are enough buses run by the park authorities however there is some waiting period as well.
In all, it was a very good experience and we enjoyed our time there. We were back in SFO close to 7.00pm. So it was a long day and quite tiring. But for those who are not interested in trekking, this is a very good option. It cost us $190 pp for return trip and there was no lunch included.

    Tours4fun Yosemite trip from SanFrancisco.
It was cancelled on the night before we go. One says its confirmed and the other email says cancelled. So I called to see ask what is going on.
Our tour was basically cancelled due to small number who signed on for the tour. They promised to give the full refund and expect it in 3-5business days. Now Sept 4,its been 10business days past and still have not see any sign of refund. Common tour people guide, if you are not doing the tour you should not process the payment in the first place. That way it would be easy to both of us.

My son and I had a great time on this trip! We arrived at the parking garage at 5:55 am near the Post Street address. It was a one minute walk to the destination. The bus arrived on time. Keep in mind that San Francisco is very cold in the morning and evening. The bus was comfortable - it had foot rests and a place to plug in your phone on the floor. There was also a pocket attached to the seat in front of you. Antonio was our tour guide and he was fantastic! He was knowledgeable about everything throughout the entire trip. He made it very memorable!!! We arrived back to Post Street about 8:30 pm or so. There is one stop on the way there and one stop on the way back. Each one was approximately 30 minutes which allowed for bathroom breaks and food (there is a bathroom on the bus). Overall, a great trip that was worth the money. I highly recommend it.

We have visited many of the National Parks, but Yosemite is the king of parks. We visited in early May because after researching online it was suggested that May was a great time to visit before the crowds of summer. That turned out not to be the case at all. The first problem was that despite the thousands of visitors, there were no Park Rangers at the entrance collecting fees or passing out the park newsletter or brochures. National Parks are not well funded so we didn't understand why they would pass up an opportunity with so many paying customers. Also, if we had received the newsletter which always lists closing or delay areas, we would have turned around and left. Our plan was to visit the Valley then drive across and exit the Lee Vining East entrance. Our plan was to spend the night in Mammoth Lakes then on to Utah. When we arrived at Bridal Veil Falls and then the Valley, my husband went to the visitor center there and was told the road across the Park to Lee Vining was closed.

Construction at the tunnel paused our progress for almost 40 minutes while they let one side of the traffic through and held the other side. A sign warned people to stay in their vehicles but quite a few people paid no attention to the sign and the road worker had to continuously chase people back into their vehicles. We could see the line of vehicles behind us getting longer and longer.

We stopped at the Gift Shop, Market and Restaurant to find something to eat. The Gift Shop and Restaurant were closed and only open certain hours for each meal. Again, had we had a brochure or newsletter, we would have been aware of that. The entire area was packed with tourists, buses and RV's. Parking was very limited.

We did eventually make it to the Valley and got a photo of El Capitan. There was no room to park anywhere so we could only view it from the road. We turned back to exit the park which was another nightmare of lines of vehicles trying to do the same thing. I have a beautiful video of Bridal Veil Falls but was unable to download it here.

If May is the slow month for Yosemite, I would hate to see what it's like in summer.

We booked a day trip to Yosemite National Park, departing from Post Street, San Francisco, September 8th 2024.

There was no welcome and no run down of itinerary when we got on the coach. It started off with the driver shouting at some guests telling them to move seats and muttering under his breath that the guests he was speaking to had “no common sense”. He should have been very aware that the majority of the guests on the coach were not native English speakers and his tone was unacceptable.

After discussing, what he called, the “gay flag” history, he then said “now it’s all about the transvestites” which raised a lot of eyebrows. This again is completely unacceptable and he should be a bit more knowledgable about the community, considering his home city of San Francisco has one of the largest LGBTQ+ populations in the world and significant history.

The driver also gave the guests the responsibility of making sure everyone was on the coach. I would think as a tour guide looking after and transporting a full coach of people, it would be HIS responsibility to do a head count at every stop. When he failed to hear us from the back of the coach that some people were missing at the first stop, he drove off before seeing the missing guests run over the parking lot. The driver then proceeded to scald us like school children for not telling him there were people missing (even though we did). He then proceeded to complain about this incident a further 3 times through the trip. Again, treating us like children for his lack of responsibility.

He also had a serious road rage problem that made a few guests uncomfortable. Never have I heard a coach driver use the horn more than he did and verbally abuse other drivers (all while being heard over the PA system). Speeding on corners on the inbound trip while in Yosemite with a high altitude and sheer drop also made us dread the return trip.

He was not very informative about the park either. He was more a fan of sharing personal anecdotes, people he knew, HOW MUCH HE EARNS and how he isn’t happy with only working 3 days a week.

This man should not be a tour guide with the type of attitude he has. Upon departure at the first stop at the end of the tour at Fisherman’s Wharf, he closed the door before all guests who were intending to get off, actually got to the door (because the gangway was being blocked by other guests). Instead of apologising and not making a scene about it, he shouted at us for not getting off quickly enough.

I will not be recommending this company and will certainly not be using them again on any return trips to San Francisco. For the amount of money we paid, we wish we hired a car and did the drive ourselves. Very very disappointing, and the attitude of the driver ruined the trip. We never got his name. All we know is he’s 75 and has a white beard.

I have left a review on another site and have also emailed the company directly, with no response.

Yosemite is absolutely worth visiting but do not recommend Grayline. Booked a Grayline day trip to Yosemite through hotel. Had to pay hotel $35 cash, they arranged pickup and pay balance to office on the day. Was overcharged $10 as girl argued I had wrong price. I didn’t. Driver good and very informative but he accidentally left 2 passengers behind at a lookout. Was given map of the valley and had 3hrs to explore. The map was woefully inadequate as there are many trails not listed. Getting close to time to be back at the bus I got hopelessly lost. Phone coverage is sparse but I got through to Grayline telling them I was lost as I was worried bus would leave. Girl on other end was very unhelpful, never once did she say the bus wouldn’t leave. I needed a calm, helpful person but instead got abrupt telling me to ask other people as she had no idea where I was. I had been asking people but hung up and was still panicked. Arrived back 25 minutes late and very stressed. I could not get off the bus for the dinner stop as I was embarrassed. No one on the bus even approached me asking if I was ok, not even the bus driver u til the dinner stop. The day was very spoiled by the fact when I got back to hotel I saw I did have the right price on the brochure.

Dear jowells8, Thank you for taking the time to write a review on your experience. I am sad to learn the tour was not entirely of your liking. However, I need to point our the correct procedures were followed by both our staff and our driver-guide. I deeply feel you did not feel totally comfortable during the tour, which is nothing but further from our intention. We hope you can trust us again in a near future! Sincerely, Manager at Gray Line of San Francisco

We did not have a good experience on our Grey Line Tour from SanFrancisco to Yosemite National Park. The driver was jerky, the “guide” wasn’t interesting and just spoke in a slow drone. Not enough restroom breaks. Most of all we only got 3 hours at the park and paid for a 14 hour tour.

Hello ilwagler, Thanks for posting your review of your experience in June. I apologize that our guide didn't meet your expectations. However, we took notes of every feedback, and based on it we put in place several changes in this tour during the last weeks to improve it: additional stop for restroom and ongoing training with our guides. I was not able to find any booking under a similar name to your signature, so I would appreciate it if you can contact our office at 415-353-5310 so we can learn more about your experience and improve it further in any possible angle for our coming guests. I hope you give us the chance to take any of our tours again. Regards, Xavier General Manager Gray Line San Francisco

This travel experience was by far one of the best!! I’m a frequent traveler & tend to refrain from guided tours because I feel that these restrict you at times from exploring at your own leisure. I decided to try this guided tour & it completely changed my perspective in a positive way. First of all, Shebli our tour guide, was phenomenal! He was funny and very knowledgeable, he knew the best photo spots & just made everyone feel welcomed. He ensured that no one felt car sick & we were all comfortable. I didn’t get motion sick which was impressive since this was a 4 hour drive with winding roads & this comes from someone that gets motion sick (sea bands are a good idea though). We were given a map and pamphlet and recommendations on what to do during our 3 hr free exploration. It was enough time... the highlight was definitely seeing a bear! I was accompanied by my sister & best friend and we all rate it an A+++! Shebli made our trip by far more enjoyable & even reassured me with a picture that I wasn’t crazy seeing bears oh my!!
