The drive to Yellowstone National Park from Jackson, Wyoming, takes a little over an hour, and unless you’re planning on renting a car, the journey can be rough to plan while you’re on vacation. What to Expect
This Yellowstone National Park tour starts with a hotel pickup in Jackson. Board an express van that’ll get you to the park faster than most bus tours will.
As you enter Yellowstone, stop first at the Lower Loop’s main attractions, such as Old Faithful and Lewis Lake. From there, head toward Firehole River and Fountain Paint Pot. Your guide goes into great detail to teach you about the park’s history, geology, and ecology as you ride.
Keep driving through Geyser Basin to catch sight of Yellowstone Falls, and keep your eyes peeled for bison at Hayden Valley.
Your last stop is at Lake Hotel before your van takes you back to Jackson for a drop-off.
