No stress with Welcome to Travel.
Welcome to Travel is a wonderful and trustworthy travel company! I would 100% recommend them if you are planning a working holiday in Australia. When I came here I had no plans whatsoever past the 3 days of our mini-pack tour. Abby was able to book a month and half tour for us up the east coast within our budget in just a few hours. We've since settle in Sunny Coast, and anytime we still need help Abby and her team are still there for us! Couldn't have picked a better travel company!

    SYDNEY
Just finished the welcome to Sydney tour, Chloe is lovely and a good guide. It was what I expected it to be so can’t go wrong there. The road trip was very good everyone enjoyed that. If I could change one thing it would be the ratio to girls and boys so maybe they could do some more promotion towards men because there was way too many men. All in all a good week

BOOK WITH WELCOME TO TRAVEL! IT IS THE BEST WAY TO LIVING THE AUSSIE WAY!
WOW! What an amazing first week in Australia. I made the decision to come to Oz just 60 days before arriving, I was too busy and too overwhelmed to do anything but book this Welcome to Travel tour. They were beyond accommodating before I even arrived. They helped me book extra days at the hostel so I'd never be homeless, assisted with my visa, and set up all the administrative things (phone, tax number, bank account). From day 1 of the tour everything was amazing and well thought out. We were guided through the city, but still given the freedom to explore and see things on our own terms. I mean it wholeheartedly if you are considering booking just do it, it is worth every penny JUST for the people you meet and the road trip you take midway through the week, but you end up with SO much more. Every WTT employee is so kind and helpful, but I have to take the time to shout out our tour guide, Chloe. For 7 full days, Chloe was a tour guide, confidant, and friend. She answered every last silly question we had and never made us feel silly for asking, acted as our personal photographer, and simply went above and beyond to make sure we had the best first week in Sydney. I was a little shocked and confused our tour guide was not Australian and thought what does this woman know that the internet has not scared me about?? But having a tour guide who not only did a WTT tour but was close in age to our group and living the WHV life was the BEST way to understand what my year ahead looks like. Chloe didn't just cover the amazing parts of Australia but took the time to paint a full picture of what being a backpacker looks like. I was so afraid after 7 days I would still be just as lost as I was before I arrived, but with her guidance (and the wonderful Maisie in the office who helped me find the exact right jobs to apply to) I feel ready to take on Australia. While I was not ready to book travel they were so accommodating in giving me a couple of lists to make sure when I am ready I know what to look for. I also know I can (and most definitely) will reach out to them when I am ready to book my next Australian adventure. THANK YOU!!!!!

    Welcome to Melbourne
Choosing Welcome to Travel to help me with my first week and a bit in Melbourne was the best decision I could have made when coming to Australia. The tour has helped me settle in properly, make new friends who I am now travelling up to Cairns with. I couldn’t ask for a better start. The tour guide, Charlie. The perfect person for a tour guide role. He’s young, energetic, charismatic and obviously knows his stuff when it comes to travelling. He made the whole group relax and feel at ease which in return bonded the group together and created such an awesome time. I COULDN’T RECOMMEND CHARLIE ENOUGH!!! 1 or 2 things I’d change about the Welcome to Melbourne tour. - Increase the length of the time surfing. Everyone loved the surfing and wanted to do more. Maybe rearranging the schedule to allow this would be welcomed by all - When arriving back from the Road Trip on Friday and after the 1:1 meetings I personally felt like another activity could have been fitted in. But this might not suit everybody. - On the Tuesday I would have rather of eaten at the Empress first. Freddy Durkes bar was a little bit boring. Not much going on there. The bar next door was a lot more lively. Overall ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you’re reading this. Book yourself the Melbourne tour.

    Best way to see Sydney
I’m so glad I decided to come to Sydney with Welcome To Travel instead of alone. My tour group felt like a big family so quickly and I’ve loved sharing all these experiences with them. Welcome To Travel sorts out all your life admin for you so you can just enjoy yourself without stressing about a bank account or tax file number. Our tour guide Tasha is so knowledgeable of Sydney and took us to the most amazing places we would have never found out about without her. She was the highlight of my experience and I wish I could do it all again!

Awesome time in Sydney with amazing Tour Guide and people
I had a really fun week. The activities were great and we could see a lot of Sydney and the surrounding. Our Tour guide Tasha made the experience even better. She had a lot of knowlege about the city when she showed us around. She made every activity even more fun and always helped us when we were worried. I loved every moment, especially the surf Camp. All in all, i had an amazing and fun time with nice people and a really good Tour Guide. I would definitely recommend doing the Welcome to Sydney Tour.

A great tour to see the city of Melbourne, with a personable guide who helps you plan you time in Australia to be the best it can be. The people you meet will likely be on work holidays as well, making this a great way to make new friends in a similar position to you.

Would recommend to those on work holidays, or those under 30 staying in Australia for a while

I Would highly recommend this trip to anyone thinking about doing it, we had such an amazing group all from different areas of the world which made it so interesting, I was a solo traveller but on the first day it didn't even feel like I was on my own.

When you land they will have a driver ready at the airport to bring you to the hostel so you don't have to worry about how you're getting there.

It was so much better than I could ever imagine we did so much more than I thought we would do, so many places that you would probably miss if you did it all on your own. Just learning about the culture of Melbourne and how it was all built and came together was so interesting, it is such a beautiful city. The team really knew there stuff and could answer any question.

The Welcome to Travel team are so amazing at what they do, they really want you to get the best out of your week. At the end of the week you sit down with a member of the team where they will sit through all of your plans/ideas and guide you on how to go about things if you haven't already sorted your next step. They will even book tours and stuff for you so it's one less thing to think about. This was a life saver for me as I wanted to travel up the east coast but had no idea how to go about it, within 2 hours everything was booked and ready to go.

Even after your week is over for the whole time you are in Australia you can email or call the team with any questions, problems you may have they will always be there to help.

I have made friends for life and had an experience I will never forget. Don't think about it, just book it! You will not regret it!!

I would highly recommend this trip, from start to end it is filled with great experiences and let’s you see beautiful parts of Australia both inside and outside of the city. I have seen more of Melbourne than people who have stayed here for months. Claudia the tour guide genuinely made the full experience and if it wasn’t for her knowledge and genuine interest in the group it wouldn’t be the same.

I have done organised trips before and this is the best by far. 10/10

I never would have guessed 3 months ago, when I went ahead and booked this tour, just how much of a gift I'd be given in the process. Any doubts about the price of this course blew straight out the window the minute I arrived and met Clauds - the coolest tour mum ever, and the 21 other group members who would become my Aussie family over the span of the next few days. I loved it. Every second of it. And you'd be stupid to let this opportunity pass you by.
This tour shows you so many of the wonders of the country, while providing you with invaluable insider info on the city's coolest spots and how to make the absolute most of your time here.
I joined as an Aussie returning to the country after years abroad, with very little knowledge of what to expect or how to start in this essentially foreign country. Welcome to Travel welcomed me home and I cannot thank them enough.

Just spent the absolute best week getting introduced to the fun and extremely interesting city that is Melbourne. Can’t even count the numerous activities we did but thoroughly enjoyed the city walking tour, the Queen Victoria market, getting to see the SMALLEST and CUTEST little penguins hobbling from the sea to their burrows (and getting lost many times along the way which was adorable to say the least), laughing my ass off during a surfing lesson where I only fell off every single time, petting kangaroos and little wallabies, wine tasting, bar crawling, dancing, and howling with laughter through it all. You get to meet a bunch of like-minded individuals who want something more out of life and are looking for a challenge, much like I assume the majority of people onboarding this welcome week are doing. On top of that, the Welcome to Travel group I met (Clauds, Darryl, Adam, Sander and Hobson) are personable, extremely knowledgeable, and welcoming, among other things. Within an hour of going through a hilarious meet and greet first thing, it put my mind at ease to know that I was in safe hands with people who have been there, who know what it’s like to come to a country alone, anxious and disoriented, and who wished they had had a way to get a solid introduction to living in a new country. If you’re on the fence about adding the Welcome Week package in addition to the working holiday visa, don’t think twice about it; just do it. Thanks to such a wonderful team for making me feel tons more secure in being in a country by myself. You guys are awesome!

My friend and I booked this tour to kick off our travels in Australia. We saw on their website that they help with onwards travel plans, and as we wanted to roadtrip the east coast this was perfect for us. Not only does the week in Melbourne give you a thorough tour of the city and amazing friends, the welcome to travel team will help you to sort out or give you advice on how to spend the rest of your stay in Oz, whether you’re on a travel visa or a working holiday visa, with setting up bank accounts, phone sim, set you in contact with employers etc. Our guide Clauds felt more like a friend than a guide, and made exploring Melbourne a fun adventure. We made so many great friends during our stay and we had an amazing time exploring Melbourne. And for such a great value. In addition to setting you up for your stay in Australia, the accommodation, some food, a surf lesson, a roadtrip to Phillip Island and tickets for several attractions like the Penguin Parade and an animal sanctuary was included. Literally can’t think of a better way to see Melbourne than with Welcome to travel.

Wow, what a week. I booked onto this tour as I felt completely lost, and had no idea how to start my life in Australia. It did not disappoint. From surfing to wine tasting, there really is something for everyone. I particularly enjoyed the penguin parade and watching Steffen devour 65 dumplings in one hour!! Don’t worry if you have any dietary requirements, I am coeliac and was buzzing when I got my very own gluten free dumplings. Billy was fab, and went above and beyond to make sure everyone had the best week filled with banter. Big shout out to Darryl as well, for helping me organise my East Coast trip. I am so grateful not only for the helpful advice throughout the tour, but also for the future help and reassurance from Welcome To Travel throughout the rest of my time in Aus. Thanks to everyone for making this week so incredible, I can’t wait for the rest of my journey with my new Aussie family. The tour is an absolute must for nervous solo travellers who have no idea how to start their time in Australia, get booked on, you will not regret it 💖

From the first day of the tour to the last, the group and staff were absolutely incredible. I honestly can't find a single fault with any part of the tour. The support you get not just during, but after the tour, is world-class and I wouldn't be surprised to see Welcome To Travel expand to more locations in the future. The tour guide Claudia was so knowledgeable about everything around the city and country, and made the tour run perfectly. She integrated in to our group seamlessly and became just as essential to the group dynamic as any of us. She needs a raise! There were so many adventures during the week, with just as many surprises along the way! It's hard to imagine how they make any money off these tours as they're absolutely packed with free experiences and discounts. Anyone on the fence about booking on to this tour needs to do it as soon as possible. I couldn't imagine coming to Australia having not done this tour and I'll always be grateful to the whole Welcome To Travel team, and the amazing group of friends I made along the way.

I did the welcome to Melbourne tour a couple of months ago and I am now nearly finished my travels up the east coast which was also organised by welcome to travel. The welcome to Melbourne tour was amazing, it started off by Courtney & Darryl giving us information about traveling australia and the different places and activities that they recommend to do. We also got SIM cards for our phones and an Australian bank account set up which was so helpful before we started traveling. We explored Melbourne & St Philip island, and there was so many activities and meals included which was great! Our tour group had about 18 people so I made so many friends and a lot of us continued to travel up the east coast together. We also did the Sydney mini pack which included a walking tour which was taken by Madelin & Wietske, they were both lovely and told us loads about the history of Sydney and took us to the best parts of the city. Welcome to travel also organised our 2 months traveling up the east coast and booked our hostels, transport and activities and gave us a calendar with everything so it made everything so easy and straight forward as we traveled. I can’t recommend Courtney & Darryl enough as our tour guides they were so friendly and so helpful when it came to any travel questions we had.
Thank you so much welcome to travel as I wouldn’t of had such an amazing experience traveling australia without your guys help. Will be recommending to anyone traveling Australia 😊

WOW WOW WOW, there are no words for this review Kim, but thank you! I miss seeing that pink hair on tour and it was so much fun catching up with you in Byron Bay. I've been following your journey and I'm so jealous of your Magnetic Island Barbie Car adventure today! Next stop Cairns and I can't wait to see all the fun you're going to have up there.

Hands down had probably one of the best weeks of my life thanks to the team at Welcome to Travel and the main G herself Clauds. She was a pure banging tour guide, took care of everyone, was so friendly n funny honestly could not have asked for a better person to show us around Melbourne. Met some absolutely amazing people as well, 10/10 the best group to ever take over Melbourne cause we’re all pure beast n you canny get a better group than the the folk that joined together for the first time on February 23rd. The whole experience was unreal and the amount of activities you get to do for the price they’re asking for is such a good deal definitely exceeded my expectations. Clauds really gave us an insight into what Melbs is like and she needs a pay rise rapid for going above and beyond for everyone. Cheers Clauds for an exceptional week and bringing together 22 strangers from all across the globe who are now on route for our first road trip without you to the great ocean road. Thanks again for a great experience! 👍
