We had an unforgettable experience visiting the Douro Valley, and a boat tour in Pinhão was the highlight of our trip, it is an absolute must! The river cruise was absolutely amazing—the stunning views, relaxing music, and a few bottles of champagne to enjoy along the way. It was the perfect way to see the beauty of the valley. Our trip to the Douro valley was practically perfect in every way. Our guide, Antonio, was friendly and informative. He adjusted to our requests and was incredibly helpful. The wine tasting and lunch was beyond belief. Such a perfect way to spend our last day in Portugal.

Our guide Ricardo was amazing, he took us to amazing places. Recommend the boat trip, perfect ending of the day. The winery we went to is family owned. We met the grandfather and grandson, very nice people.

I was very disappointed to receive a vague email from Viator the night before our tour, stating that our tour had been canceled by the cruise company. There was no explanation of why and no apology. I would have expected a simple apology and reason for the cancelation. I had to scramble to find another cruise at the last minute.

This tour was very well organised with extremely helpful hosts and a comfortable boat with ample padded seating for the 4 guests aboard. We were impressed at how flexible they were as we made a mistake with the start time and missed the boat to Tua but they suggested we did the trip in reverse and catch the train to Tua, returning by boat which we did. The Douro views are stunning on both the train and boat rides. The lunch was in a traditional Portuguese restaurant which is popular with locals and was generous, delicious and came with carafes of wine. A very good tour.

We had such an incredible experience. The tour guides were amazing and the sunset along with the scenery was spectacular. We would highly recommend.

My husband and I spent a wonderful day with Carlos touring the Duoro Valley and despite the rain we had a great time. The tour started with a pleasant boat ride. We then had a fabulous lunch including tasting a variety of wines at a local winery followed by an amazing tour of this winery that has been in the family for 8 generations. After the tour Carlos put the jeep in 4 x 4 and took us down this windy road through the vineyards. We then passed on the last tasting only because we were still stuff from lunch. Carlos was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent english. Overall a great day.

We had an excellent private boat cruise from Pinhao, for an hour and a half. Rui was very responsive when we booked, on email and on phone - and knowledgeable and pleasant skipper Ricardo and the boat was excellent. Sparkling wine and snacks were a lovely touch.

Fantastic and full day spent with Juan as our knowledgeable and extremely friendly guide. The scenery as we drove east to the Pinhao area was spectacular in spite of rather dull weather. First stop for lunch at Quinda da Avessada was funny ...we thought the pork, fish, bread, salad and local sausage was the main lunch ... but it turned out to be nibbles ... the soup (with a story), main dish and desert followed. There was no lack of alcohol either, moscatel on arrival, red and white wine and a poet to finish. Then a quick tour of the Quinta before moving on to Casal de Loivos to sample olive oil, honey and their wines after a brief tour. The final stop at Pinhao itself was to take a one hour trip by rabelo on the Douro River. By now the sun was out so the views were spectacular. Juan returned us safely to our hotel, still full of information and very courteous. We felt extremely well looked after, he was a considerate driver and thoroughly nice young man. We highly recommend this trip and especially Juan.

The staff service was very good. The moto 4x4 was clean and in a good condition. You can choose the route or following a route offered by them. It was a very nice experience, I super recomend it.

We had a wonderful experience with Deltatur's Wine Tasting Tour. They were incredibly friendly and helpful from start to finish. They picked us up at our hotel and took us on a boat tour, 3 tastings and a lunch. All experiences were wonderful! Our guide Raquel was great! Very knowledgeable and friendly! It was one of the best things I did in my 9 days in Portugal and I would highly recommend it!

The half day trip with Pedro was great! We were picked up at our Hotel in the morning and spend most of the day on the road. Great company, porto wine tasting and gourgous views. Our tour guide was attentive, knew the best spots where to take a break and made this day outstanding!

My girlfriend and I did the Douro Off Road trip: a full day activity which included port/moscatel tastings, 4x4 tour through the vineyards, a boat tour & an extensive lunch. The 4x4 brought us to spots and views that we would never be able to see otherwise: truly astonishing views and a great way to explore the Douro valley! Our guide Bruno gave us the necessary explanations about these landscapes and how they contribute to the unique wines and port wines produced in the Douro. His enhusiasm and knowledge was contagious! Highly recommended for everyone who wants to explore the Douro Valley and likes a bit of adventure!

My partner and I did the live Douro tour whilst staying in Lamego. We were unsure about spending so much money as it is quite expensive for a day trip. But it was worth every penny and has by far been the best experience of our 2 week holiday in Portugal. The Quinta visit (5 course lunch + wine and port tasting) was incredible. We ate and drank so much that we didn’t need dinner that evening. Bruno (our guide) was expectionally knowledgable and friendly and just went out of his way to give us the best tour we could have had. We highly recommend

Portugal and the Douro Valley were made so much more personal and authentic because we were lucky enough to be given Bruno as our guide. Every part of our day was like being on a trip with someone we had always known, showing us his favorite sights, from 4x4 through the vineyards to lunch and port/muscat at a lovely Quinta to the boat ride on the Douro.
